Used Genesis cars for sale near South Hackensack, NJ

On 16 May 2025 I purchased a Chevy Equinox 2025 EV from Nimnicht Chevrolet. My salesperson was Hans Ehrman, an internet sales consultant. I selected Hans from numerous sales personnel after reading their bios on the dealership website. I chose to communicate with him by email. There were no phone calls except for one from me on Friday afternoon, saying I was running late for our 2:00 pm appointment. The communication began on Thursday, and by Friday afternoon the sales was completed in person at the Nimnicht dealership. At the close of Thursday, we had agreed on a final price for the Equinox including awards, rebates, taxes, fees and a firm price for my trade. All this was done by email. From start to finish, Hans was the epitome of professionalism and answered all of my questions and concerns in a transparent matter. There were no games played with me and everything was straight forward. This is my third purchase of a Chevrolet vehicle from other dealers in the greater Jacksonville area and this by far was the best buying experience, because of the professionalism of Hans Ehrman. I highly recommend him to all potential buyers.

Luxurious car but the tech interface is a disaster (especially voice recognition, but also latency and general UI), and I bought the car only for the tech so I am disappointed.

I just wanted to comment on how much I like Carmax customer service as a company. I bought me car from Carmax in Nashville Tn about 2 years ago and had great experience. Then few months later I my car started making a noise on the front end. Took back to Carmax in Nashville They put me in a rental car till the next day till they got it fixed... Which was great. They repaired my car free and payed for the rental car. Then April 6th I was traveling thru Jackson Tn and my car started making a terrible noise. I was very concern. Called Carmax in Jackson Tn took my car there they worked me in pretty quick. When they pulled the wheel off the found a pebble had past the dust cover and was rubbing between breaks and rotary. They removed the pebble and all was good. Thank God there was no damaged. Tech put my tire back on and sent me on my way. They didn't charge me nothing.. Thank you

Coming out of a 2003 vehicle (Jaguar X-type) & getting behind the wheel of a 2023 model was a startling transition. Even though my CPO G70 is a base model (2.0T/AWD) it’s like piloting a space craft! I love this car! And with all of the safety & convenience features, it feels like it cares for me as well. The performance, ride & handling are exemplary. In the spirit of complete transparency, here are a few nits. - The gas mileage isn’t class leading & requiring premium gas adds to the cost of operation. Solution? Tame your right foot! Acceleration is quite lively. - The rear seats are tight for large people & the trunk space is merely adequate (a pass-through rear center seat is quite helpful). But keep in mind, this the smallest model in the lineup. If you need more space, there’s the G80. - Finally, I’m still sorting out some of the infotainment features (which didn’t exist in 2003!). Let me finish by praising the service departments. Without question the best experience I’ve had, up there with M-B & exceeding Jaguar.

Hi good morning to all. I wanted to apologize to the El Paso Honda dealership. I purchased a 2023 CRV Hybrid and truly thought I had made a mistake. At 70, yrs of age I believed it was just to high tech for me. I had a hard time trying to accept the fact that Hybrid vehicles did not have what I was looking for. I also thought that the gas tank was empty! I posted a review that was not very nice. It was my mistake and wanted to reach out to apologize. The sales, service, and finance departments did an awesome job. I wanted to thank the Sales Associate, Thomas Calderon, for assisting me from the time he introduced himself to me, my son and daughter-in-law. I am so sorry i jumped the gun and i know that I will enjoy my new vehicle. I have owned two different Honda vehicles; I am sure that this one will be just as dependable as they were. I just bought my G70 after looking at many different makes and models. I bought mine at the Monmouth Junction Genesis dealer. Fred Corea was extremely helpful and helped me to decide to drive home with one that day. My car drives great and really opens up on the highway when I have it in Sports mode. The interior is the second thing that sold me on the car. Lots of attention to detail and plenty of toys/tech to enjoy. It takes a while to get used to all of the tech, but I'm getting there. The car gets lots of looks and many people have no idea what it is even after I tell them. Go have a test drive.

Michael was very nice, polite and also very knowledgeable. He was the best salesperson that I have dealt with in Columbus. This means a lot to us senior citizens.

The Genesis G70 3.3T Rear Wheel Drive is one of the best performance values on the used car market. I do think there are a few better options then this car in the sport sedan field. The BMW M340i and Audi S3 come to mind, however you will pay more for those cars. Pros 1. Powerful 3.3 Turbo Engine. 2. Quick Shifting Transmission. 3. Solid Handling on a backroads. 4. Large amount of features for the price. 5. Great Looking car. 6. Radar cruise control is very good. 7. Transferable powertrain and bumper to bumper warranty. Cons 1. Small Backseat Space 2. Drive mode calibrations for throttle position is poor. 3. Ok gas mileage (But that does not bother me much since I have another car that is more fuel efficient) 4. Paint quality does not match BWM, Audi and Mercedes. 5. Remote Start features is a paid feature.

I had a wonderful experience at Genesis of Portland and found the perfect car for my needs. Trampas was attentive, friendly, engaged, and very patient with me as I negotiated for the price and terms that were the most important to me. He went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase, and I truly cannot thank him and his team enough. Owned the GV80 for 6 months, the smaller engine is plenty. The ride is better than my 2018 Lexus rx350L. Only draw back navigation good be better.

I’ve had a GLE and an Audi Q7 and this has truly been the only car I’ve bought and loved the longer I had it. The design to the technology is beyond what I was offered elsewhere at this price point.

I have had this vehicle less than a week, 250 miles driven. The navigation settings have been difficult and the screen setup still needs work. The custom seat setting feature was amazing. The seats are very comfortable. It is a nice driving vehicle.

I have truly enjoyed driving my 2019 G70! It is sleek and zoomy. I can be where I want when I want. The quilted leather is quite classy and the back seat has more room than expected.

Bought a 3.5 six in May and it’s awesome. The driving assist has been a pleasant experience. Not one on every corner still a new kid on the block

I had the pleasure to have John Khalil as my sales agent, who happens to not only be a welcoming and zealous sales agent at CarMax of Oceanside, CA, but also a very talented painting artist!! He had great compassion for my autistic son and made sure he was always comfortable during the efficient waiting process by offering him a cute CarMax car toy, a CarMax coloring book and crayons. Twin-turbo V6 Sport Prestige is a beast. Gladly traded my BMW in for it. Genesis is better looking, better built, better value and can leave my 330i Sport in the dust. 100k warranty leaves nothing to chance.

I recently purchased my Genesis G70 from Genesis of Cherry Hill. I had a very good experience dealing with Phil, the salesman, as well as Art, the sales manager. The team at Genesis of Cherry Hill was professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them.

I called to check on the status of a car we asked to be shipped from Myrtle Beach to Dothan, Alabama. The lady I spoke with was prompt and professional in determining where it was and what was happening with it. She also gave me a revised estimate as to when it would arrive in Dothan.

I am a current Lexus owner (owned many) and former Infiniti M45 owner, the Genesis replaced the Infiniti. When manufacturers want to break into a market (USA) they must do something to compete and stand out. It must be price and value. In 1990 the first LS400 I purchased was 35K and it was true then and the Genesis division of Hyundai is doing the same thing now. What you get for what you pay is outstanding. The other boys on the block, BMS, Mercedes and Audi have the name recognition already and you PAY for it ! The exterior is a work of art and it pleases me when I look at it and I have received many complements. This car is a compact luxury sport sedan not something you haul a 80 inch TV home in. My friend has a BMW 650i, he uses his SUV when he goes to COSTCO. Also since when is a sport sedan a mileage champ ?? Want good mileage buy a Prius. The car has tremendous fit and finish, a great paint job and the interior is super especially if you go for the Sport Prestige model with the Nappa leather. The stitching is fabulous. If one can't live with the lane following assist and the Lane Keeping Assist you can turn them off, I for one thing they are great ! As far as the back seat being cramped unless you have the front seat all the way back, there doesn't seem to be an issue. I have had a 6 foot 1 passenger and he had no complaints. But again it is a sport sedan not a limo. I have to plug my phone into my Lexus with a wire too, to prevent it getting tangled get a 6 inch wire - problem solved. You can get the back doors to unlock with the front door; it is a setting you can choose. Advantage with Genesis is that all of the adjustments and there are many are to be made by the owner not having to pay the dealer to make them from the number of flashes on a soft touch of the turn signal to the contrast/brightness on the cameras. Yes, the HBA (high beam assist) must be turned on even if the headlights are in the "auto" position. But what about the BVM on the dash ? O.K. I did purchase a G70 with the sport prestige package but you have to admit that is some tech leading stuff. BTW, that is a camera image of the blind spot when you turn on the lane change lever on the dash. The car offers many of the safety features in the base car. To get what this car offers in the Prestige package you have to spend at least 10K more in a BMW if you can get all of the features the Genesis offers. Heck, the car even comes with a space save tire. Try finding one of those on your BMS/Mercedes/Audi. This car is a great car. In the short period I have owned I am extremely happy with it and love the pickup, technology, styling and comfort features. I didn't buy it for long hauling commuting to save on gas ! II say give this car a long look and I am sure you purchase one you will love it as I do. BTW, the rear seats fold down so that you may actually be able to get a large flat TV back there !

Love the car. Gets a lot of attention and compliments. Very geeky if that's your type of thing. My only 2 minor complaints is the rear leg room and the wired Android Auto does not take up the full screen. The mirror option does not seem to work with my S10+. Maybe when I upgrade to the S23+ next year it will.

I had my truck serviced. The work was done correctly and the truck was ready when promised.

The GV80 is extremely safe and operates smoothly, in harmony with different driver preferences. It handles perfectly in the snow and ice with different drive mode options. Looking forward to another GV80 after this one !

Sales person Kenya Ellis-Walker helped us filter through the choices we had researched. She is knowledgeable, relaxed, patient and listened to us so that she understood what each of us in this couple wanted. She is great. Plus the whole Car Max experience is pleasant because you can flip among comparable cars of different makes and compare then and there. And you are not pressured at all because the sales people are salaried--the entire experience reduces stress and gives you more choice. Good for people who prefer space to think and options to compare.

This was my first luxury car and I was not disappointed. It was priced below most competitors, yet came standard with features such as Lane-Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise control, and Apple Carplay. It is very comfortable to ride in, yet can be sporty when you want it. I have also been able to get well above the EPA 23mpg which is a bonus. I love this car and have no complaints!
