We bought our GMC 2500 HD gas 6.0L extended cab last spring to pull our 9k lb 5th wheel. We pulled it for about 6k miles with abslutely no issues. It pulls great, a bit slow off the line, but it will get going if I put my foot down -no issues on the highway. It'll do 70 all day long pulling our portable house. We get about 8 MPG towing and 17 empty in rural areas. No doubt the diesel would haul better and get better MPG, but for an extra 30-40 cents/gal, that doesn't make sense for us. This truck has much better fit and finish than older GM vehicles we've owned. In fact this our 1st GM since our 2000 GMC Safari (that was a money pit). We love the look of the extended cab with 180° rear doors. The rear seat is the same size as the newer 4 door. To us the truck looks classy. It has style and rugged looks without being over the top. The next 2 generations are just stupid big. Seems like the bigger the grille the more compensation. Basically, I highly recommend this generation 2500. It does everything we need it to do and looks good doing it.

This truck had almost everything I was looking for. It was actually a year OLDER than my current truck, but had 50,000 LESS MILES on it! It came with a gooseneck hitch (which I really needed and did not want to have to install), remote start, 4 wheel drive, and many other "niceties". Only had it for a week, but so far so good!

I live in Sequim and Gray motors has been around for quite some time. They are a local small business that carries some interesting inventory. I like the older, low mileage stuff. Call before you go. This isn't Seattle, They aren't open like the city dealers. To the Karens and Chads who are complaining about their hours, go buy elsewhere.

Powerful and great road manners. Towing a breeze. Head turner. Fit the whole family comfortably and great for road trips. Surefooted in the snow and diesel mileage was better than expected. Averaged 19 around town and better on the highway.

The 2500hd series are complete mules. Pull it. Push it. Tow it. I'm on my second one with the first still running strong at 198000 miles just time for an upgrade! I love the new body style of these 2010s and up. So far I've had my new one about a year and no problems to report. The performance is excellent so much power. Comfort for those long trips or working in the cab all day is great. These are real trucks!
