Overall my past experiences have been favorable. However, I recently took my Cadillac CTS in for an oil change and while driving to work two days later, I noticed smoke coming from my exhaust and pulled over only to find I had no oil registering on my dipstick. I had to have the car towed (my expense), back to the dealership, where they admitted that the oil filter was not sealed and caused the oil to leak out of my engine. I was informed it caused no damage to my engine (I hope that's the case). I take my vehicle to the dealership because I believe that is the best place to care for my Cadillac and I am willing to pay the extra dealership costs so these things don't happen, and my vehicle gets the best care suited to my Cadillac needs. I was a bit frustrated that the dealership did not ask to have my towing reimbursed, not to mention the $1000.00 that their mistake caused me to lose in business income from having to miss a day's work.
THIS IS MY 5TH NEW TRUCK PURCHASE FROM TED & BILLY & JORDAN AT ALFRED MATHEWS IN MODESTO. Alfred Matthews goes above and beyond what a dealer should do. For example they will come pick up my vehicle for service and return it as soon as it's ready. As a self employed business owner sometimes I don't have time to run a vehicle to Modesto. Alfred Matthews will even leave me something to drive if I have a vehicle in service. Not many dealers provide this service. Big thanks to everyone at Alfred Matthews.
