2019 GMC Yukon review
We drove two states over to McKenzie Buick GMC in Milton, FL to meet with Nick and make a purchase on our new Yukon Denali. Customer service was top notch. We were going for their 2019 Yukon Denali to replace a 2008 Tahoe LTZ. We are very pleased with the vehicle. The upgrades are wonderful. Love the cooling seats, the wifi, the HUD and even days after our purchase they have reached out to check on how we were and mailed us a small gift that meant so much. I’ve purchased and leased quite a few vehicles over the years and have also helped friends and family shop at dealerships across the RTP area, so I have a pretty good idea of what a typical dealership experience looks like. Johnson Lexus of Durham was easily one of the best I’ve had. Will White was my salesperson, and he was outstanding from beginning to end. He never pressured me into making a decision or tried to upsell me. Instead, he took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, answered every question honestly, and made the whole process feel relaxed instead of stressful. One thing that really stood out was how well prepared everything was on delivery day. Will had already coordinated with the finance team, so all of my paperwork was ready when I arrived. I was in and out without sitting around waiting, which was a refreshing change compared to experiences I’ve had at other dealerships. Emily L in Finance was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. She explained everything clearly, respected my time, and never made me feel pressured. I was also impressed by Lexus’ dedicated delivery process. Emily G, the Delivery Specialist, walked me through the vehicle, helped set up the Lexus app, connected my phone, and explained all of the major features before I left. It made driving home in a new vehicle much less overwhelming, especially with how much technology modern cars have. From sales to finance to delivery, everyone worked together seamlessly. The entire experience was organized, professional, and customer-focused. I left feeling like they genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience, not just making a sale. I would absolutely recommend Johnson Lexus of Durham to anyone looking for a new Lexus.
2019 Audi Q7 review
I can’t tell you how much I love this car. Drives like a dream compared to my Cadillac Escalade. Handles well with plenty of acceleration. Nice clean designed exterior and well appointed interior. Only flaw are the drink holders and the lack of remote start since it is German.

A coworker Carmax to me. I enjoyed that you could walk around the lot and actually get inside the vehicles to check them out. No one followed you around the entire time unless you wanted them to. If needed I'd buy and shop here again. The salesman Britt P. was pleasant to work with too. I wanted a better finance rate because my credit score told me I could get one. I was advised to check around. In the end I was able to get a lower rate from another source and get the vehicle I wanted. I'm scheduled for some detail work on the vehicle and I trust it will be done well too.
2025 Toyota GR86 review
This car does exactly what it’s designed to do. It’s light, agile and excellent value for the money. That said, it wasn’t the car for me. Its biggest fault is the throttle response. I noticed that when I first test drove a GR86, but I thought I could adapt. I was wrong. It was too difficult to drive smoothly at slower speeds and even with a aftermarket throttle module, I still could not get it to drive smoothly. I’ve owned over a dozen manual sports cars over the past three decades, so I know how to drive. The last one was a track spec’d Corvette Grand Sport, which was an excellent driver. Don’t be turned off by this review, just make sure the drivability matches your tastes

We went there yesterday looking for a used car. My 1st requirement was that I didn't want to be there for 7 hours. Michael was our associate and he did a fantastic job making that happen! He is a fairly new employee of Carmax but I would've thought he had been there for years! He was very knowledgeable and so efficient. He was patient and answered all our questions. I did get my 2016 Nissan Rogue and absolutely love it! I will definitely return to Carmax for all my car buying needs.
