2016 Subaru Impreza review
I love my car. 5 speed with 20k miles. Ive put on another 100k. I have taken this little AWD car places most people dont drive their 4x4’s. But I am meticulous about maintenance. I’ve never had a single issue with anything other than a thermostat replacement and A/C recharge. With the manual I don’t have to worry about a crap cvt. The first clutch lasted 118,000 miles. The only issue was the trust bearing, the clutch was still good. You cant beat a manual AWD that gets 30+ mpg IMO. Take care of the car and it will take care of you.

2022 Volkswagen Golf R review
The Golf R is really a very unique and individualistic car - 'hot hatch' does not really fit as a descriptor as the 'R' is a much more mature and capable car. The car's ultra-high performance is complimented by excellent road handling thanks to AWD and the torque vectoring rear axle (A system only available in the much more expensive Audi RS3). Some commentators have griped at the price approx. 45K (Without Dealer 'Premiums') - however, as stated, this is a much more mature package that contains almost every option know to man! Head Up Display, Napa leather heated and cooled front seats/heated rear seats, Harman Kardon sound system, Automatically operating IQ lights, etc. etc. The true beauty of the R is that it can be driven as an extremely civilized everyday commuter, or you can unleash its inner demons with fantastically satisfying results! Some critics have commented negatively about the infotainment system and the lack of knobs - I am 66 and have found the system incredibly intuitive and intelligent to use - a little patience never goes amiss! Ultimately, this is a superb performance car that delivers in so many ways - it is mature, precise and measured - an amazing car! No, its not a hot hatch in the traditional sense - it is a car that is far more than that!

When we got into the car one of the headsets did not work and Eddie immediately got online and had one mailed to our house. Came back to Kokomo and my mechanic found that the transmission line needed replaced, so Eddie told him to replace it and mailed a check so I could pay my mechanic, instead of having to drive the car an hour back to Anderson. I really appreciate the help that I received and also how quick and efficient everything was even though Eddie was the only one there that day. He did a great job!

2021 Honda Civic review
After buying Toyota vehicles for years, I found out that they were outsourcing their CVT’s and Honda was making their own CVT’s and after driving a new Toyota Corolla and then a new Honda Civic, I was more impressed with the Honda Civic. We bought our 2017 Fiat 500 pop almost three years ago with 27k on it. We needed a small light car to tow behind our motor home and it fit the bill. What we didn't expect, was to totally fall in love with this little reliable and efficient car. I never could have anticipated how reliable and solid this little Fiat would be. We love driving the 5 speed with a nice purring engine under it's hood. We done nothing but oil and filter changes and tire rotations for three years, of course a air filter and cabin filter as well, but that's it. I would highly recommend this amazing little car to anyone. In town we get 45-50 mpg at 35 with the Cruise on, and at 80 we get 32-40 depending on hills etc. Car has totally exceeded all our expectations and more. No worries that Fiat stands for fix it again tony, no way, on this dependable great little car. I wish Fiat sold more of thier cars here, like in Europe and South America. Go Fiat!

2024 Mitsubishi Mirage review
I downsized from a 2014 Subaru Forester I had for 10 years, purchasing a 2-year old Mirage SE with a whopping 4000 miles on it. It’s a beautiful tiny car, as loaded as can be, and averages 40 mpg. It works great in the city and on the highway and is a little cocoon of amenities. The visibility out the front window was a bit challenging to get used to due to the black box. And despite only being 5’4” I sit really high to the windscreen. Otherwise the interior fits me great — being aware this is not a car built for bigger people or those needing to haul more than 2 people and some groceries (although I do plan to take it camping), I love the styling and overall zippiness. It was priced very well for the model. This will be a long-term vehicle for me and I’m very pleased a month in.

2020 Kia Soul review
This is the second sol I have owned and I couldn't be happier. Although both were bought in Tucson Arizona the dealership in Lawrence Kansas has been great. I haven't been notified of a recall on my car I am concerned about the anti theft device I have been hearing about and the oil ring problem in some of the 2020 sols. Just a little worried my car may have this problem. Any info would be great.

2016 Ford Focus RS review
Great car, I drive my focus RS as a daily, very practical and comfortable. Currently at 90k miles runs like a champ no major issues. Didn’t like the oem wheels due to constantly having to replace tires due to pot holes. The car give me confidence to go into corners at insane speeds, never feel like I’m gonna lose grip. In terms of comfort I can sit in the front seats for hours at a time very comfortable for an average weight/build man. But in terms of interior space the back seats get a little cramped when having tall passengers. But still very practical if your not carrying passengers constantly.
