Jon (Jonathan) is the best person you can ever ask for. He's just amazing. He TRULY cares. Micah from the service team has also been very helpful. They simply have a great team of caring experts who know KIA cars.
My husband and myself were in the market for a larger vehicle because our family is growing. We are big Honda fans because of our last car shopping experience in another town. The dealership had knowledgeable staff, and made our buying experience easy and comfortable. Before going to Honda of Morgan Hill we researched a few options for vehicles and ultimately decided on a preowned Odyssey with low mileage. We were preapproved for financing on line. We did our homework. The sales staff seemed helpful and friendly. We purchased the vehicle we had looked into on line. Less than 1 week later the battery needed to be replaced. I called and spoke to the salesman we dealt with the previous week and before I told him the issue HE interjected, “if the battery needs to be replaced we will do that.” His knowledge on the subject was baffling since I had not told him what the problem had been. I was under the impression that when you purchase a used vehicle from Honda it has to pass an inspection. And something like a dead battery surely should have been noticed by the service team. The salesman said he’d return my call the following day since he was out of the office. This never happened. I assume the service team and the salesman were aware of the malfunction since I haven’t been told otherwise. I expected Honda to either reimburse us for the cost of the battery or give us equal credit in the service department. I am disappointed with the level of dishonesty proven by this specific dealership. They are the reason people dislike the whole process of buying a car. I will purchase another Honda but I will never go back to the dealership in Morgan Hill nor will I recommend them.
We bought two cars from Casey at Hyundai because he was as knowledgeable about cas and not pushy. Test drove about 5 before buying Hyundai. The brand is reliable, minimal recalls and offers a great 100k warranty.
I bought a car about 3 days ago and have been meaning to do a review, so it’s a bit delayed but I wouldn’t miss this opportunity to talk about how wonderful my experience at Southbay Honda was. We all know the car buying process can be very stressful, however My experience was the complete opposite. I had the pleasure of working with Dakila, Kenny, and Jordan. The moment I walked in Dakila greeted myself and family with the warmest smile and told us we’d be taken care of. Kenny was Great he kept myself and my family accommodated with refreshments, all while constantly checking on us and even provided us with refreshments. Kenny And Dakila worked hard to get me the best deal they could. Last but not least there was Jordan, he was very patient and funny. I love my 2018 Honda that i purchased and I could go on and on about how amazing the staff here are!!! Thank you Southbay Honda for making my experience one to remember!!
