2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid review
The car has been great with one glaring exception. The 2023 Rav 4 navigation system and manuals explaining it are far from easily understood by some of us with advanced degrees and years of experience in writing and interpreting complicated financial documents. The 2023 Nav screen is as much a distraction as driving while using a mobile phone a highly discouraged practice., perhaps more dangerous. Our 2028 Rav 4's Nav system and manual were easily understood. intuitively structured and easily used during our drives and with a safe screen. Somehow the 2023 version escaped those virtuous characteristics and is one that has made me start to consider trading our 2023 in after 7 months.

2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid review
I’ve had many Subarus in the past, but wanted a hybrid vehicle. So glad I did with these gas prices! I’m getting 41mpg right now. My favorite things are the trunk kick open feature, my hands are always full. I love the heated steering wheel too. I have the flat matte gray color, I receive lots of compliments and color hides dirt well. Handles well on road, drives nicely. Only thing I would change is size of cup holders, they are small.

My wife and I were in the market to replace our aging Pilot. We decided to stop in at Kerry Hyundai of Alexandria to check out the redesigned Santa Fe. Cody greeted us, and I let him know we were early in the process and just comparing vehicles. He was understanding, laid back and friendly in his approach, which we appreciated very much. We did not decide to purchase on our initial visit. After some deliberation we found a color combination we liked at the Kerry in Florence. We decided on a whim that we wanted a Bronco. We didn't want the hassle of sitting @ the dealership all day and wait and haggle. Our salesperson, Rodney Hutson, made this transaction as seamless and easy as possible. I talked to him over the phone, he gave me the car numbers to look up online, we came in, and within hours we were in our new Bronco, and he had taken over our TWO car payments. We have had service here before, and they were great. Now I will be buying all our cars there also!! And we LOVE our 2023 Ford Bronco Big Bend. My wife has that top down all the time. It is just a FUN SUV to drive, and way beefier than the Bronco Sport we had. Rodney Hutson was GREAT, and the Finance guy Nick got all the paperwork done so fast, but explained everything to a T.

2023 Hyundai ELANTRA HEV review
Overall a good car for the price, smooth and quiet ride (for its class) and surprisingly accurate gas milleage. What we like so far (got it a month ago and have already 1500 miles (driven in the mountains and in the city): consistent great gas mileage - the best among hybrids; nice exterior design and great safety features; spacey interior; very decent and quiet ride: don't expect great power from the start but can get to 140 - 160 miles/hr and ride smoothly and quietly. What we don't quite like: the door pockets are so small one cannot fit a regular cup of coffee or tea, rather cheap fixtures, missing back sit middle cup holder (they added it to the more expensive models but these have lower gas mileage), the mirrors do not automatically fold, weird design of the middle console, it has a sort of wall (possible for the right seat rider to hold) but that takes of the space we could've use to add a two cup holder adaptor. After a year of ownership I'll update the review.

2026 Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid review
I love my new Prius. It is elegant in appearance, fun to drive, and easy to plug in and recharge. Since I began charging it I haven't used any gas. I love the safety features.

2026 Hyundai SANTA FE HEV review
Bought this new hybrid car a few weeks ago and going on first long distance drive, 2k miles, soon. So far we love this car. The looks and performance have been what we hoped for. Gas mileage is not max yet, but it is still breaking in. There are a lot of electronics to learn how to use and I read and watch YouTube for more info. Looking forward to really driving this long distance.

2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid review
Purchased used in July 2025. Great gas mileage. Smooth, quiet ride. I enjoy many of the features of this loaded model. But there are a few things that are slightly annoying. As the car slows down, it sounds like an emergency vehicle. I found myself looking around for a squad or an ambulance until I realized it was the engine whining. Second, the radio cuts in and out. Never had this problem on other vehicles. I live in a metropolitan area and have strong station signals. So this has me baffled. Fortunately I can sync my phone playlist and enjoy my favorite tunes. The weather is always lagging and sometimes reads cloudy when it’s pouring down rain. Lastly, I have not figured out how to cancel a destination on the map navigator. It also cannot find my address and has me going to a completely different town if I need to get home from an unfamiliar area. Maybe it needs an upgrade but was hoping that was automatic and cloud based.

2024 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid review
I initially was looking at a conventional gas '24 Tacoma TRD Offroad with the $4400. level TRD package. After driving this model, this one came home instead! The truck has better acceleration, the battery kicks in at 30mph or less and it's knocking down almost 23mpg with 1900 miles on it so far. The higher options one (approx $8500) on this Tacoma, comes with acoustical glass making it quieter on the inside than the lower TRD option equipped truck I initially looked at. The seats are comfortable, the 360 camera view, and speaking of cameras, this one has one for the rear view mirror! No more looking at the rear seat headrests in the view. Buy this truck, it's a mid-size with the high-end full-size truck goodies that'll fit in parking spaces.
