Fairway Ford, Inc.Reviews
Fairway Ford, Inc. review
This review is about my experience with salesman Larry Taylor, a retired Army veteran. Larry was outstanding in every way during my recent purchase of a truck from Fairway. It became clear to me during the buying process that Larry values his customers and puts a high priority on honesty and integrity. The dealership is fortunate to have him. If you are considering a new or used vehicle from Fairway, it will be well worth your time to ask for Larry when you call or visit the dealership.
2022 Hyundai SONATA Hybrid review
I have a commute of about 80 miles a day to work and over the last month of ownership, I have been extremely impressed with the performance and frugal gas mileage. The other bells and whistles have just enhanced my driving experience!

Toyota of Greenville review
The most wonderful experience that I have had buying my vehicle. Matthew, the salesman was a great person!
2026 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid review
This is my 2nd new 2026 Tacoma Hybrid LIMITED. Why the limited? Full time 4WD with ability to bypass center differential and go full time 4WD high and low, like the non-limited versions. I found that the torque was too high in anything but the full time 4WD limited hybrid, and the rear wheels would slip. If not full time 4WD, can't put into 4WD proactively seeing a dangerous situation ahead and making a turn until you are in the bad stuff, which is normally too late. In my humble opinion, if you don't have this specific variant of the Tacoma, it isn't worth it. The solid full time 4WD is worth it in all driving conditions from dry, to wet, to snow. No rear wheel slip pulling out of a slight incline on dry pavement. Even with weight in back, the non-full time 4WD models slip. That said, there are things about this that are annoying. The handoff from electric to gas can be jolting or grate on your nerves like hearing a bad song over and over again. However, the MPG gain, is music to my ears, instead of 16 or maybe 17mpg, I'm usually at 24mpg on a mixed run of city, suburbs, and highway. This is not like other hybrid models, in operation or smoothness. You will sometimes find when cold it is a bit clunky or unpredictable with shifts and stuff. And sometimes, braking can be unpredictable as to how much pressure is needed. I haven't figured out why, but think it has something to do with the hybrid as a non-hybrid 2025 trd off road I had, didn't have that issue. Now, the other annoying thing, and happened on both of the 2026 limited hybrids I bought. The drivers seat, the seatback, will recline all the way to touch the rear seat bottom cushion. Seems to be when you walk out of range with remote and car is running. Why? Don't know but will look into it when it goes in for its first service. The good stuff is many, and one of those is the A/C. It's a hybrid A/C system so it's not dependent on the gas engine running to put out super cold A/C. That is a must for me. And while there are no back seat vents for A/C, it cools the whole thing off well and quickly. The ventilated seats are also amazing. The large radio screen, the big dials to turn up/down the temp, and radio, these are awesome. Being able to see all around the truck, well that is so nice, no chance you won't see something. I know I use the auto on feature, so when starting out, or below 10mph, the cameras come on automatically. The remote features are also amazing. A digital key in your phone, a credit card sized physical key for your wallet, and the app will all let you get in and start and drive your truck. So if you forget your key, you can move on without it. You can set your HVAC settings from the app on remote start. You can check status of tire pressure, doors open/closed, windows open/closed, etc. via the app. Priceless. Overall, it's a great truck for me, an older guy who needs the legroom nothing else really can provide except a competitive mid-sized truck, but can't get as a hybrid and full time 4WD. Besides all of that, Toyotas do hold their value. When I traded in my Tacoma TRD off road that was about 3 months old, I didn't lose any money on it. They are in demand. And so are these models. The electric tailgate is awesome and would not want to do without anymore. Parking assist sensors are very helpful. And if people tell you the front spoiler underneath the truck looks stupid, I'll tell you that after a couple of days you never even see it let alone worry about it. If it helps mpg's, it stays on. The lights are all LED's in and out. The LED cargo lights and trailer light are very useful. Same with the puddle lamps and door marker lights for when a door is open to prevent others from seeing it Is open.

We had an excellent experience with Fred Anderson Honda! Despite being extremely busy, they went above and beyond to get our vehicle in for service on Friday and ready for pickup Saturday. Ashleigh, our service advisor, was amazing—she helped us find and price the right parts and even price-matched a repair quote from another Honda dealership. Her professionalism and dedication made the entire experience easy and stress-free. Highly recommend!

2025 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid review
Great in mileage. Looks great. Performance is amazing. I don't like the fact that you can't use GPS, remote start, location finding, etc without subscribing monthly. Also dont like Toyota's spying, as they actually say they will supply all of your driving info like speeds, stopping, behaviors, locations travelled to, driving habits, etc. to all law enforcement and all insurance companies that request the data. That is just plain "1984" control and interference with privacy. They might as well be the CCP or other dictatorship.

Fred Anderson Kia of Greenville review
Exceptional customer service is easy when everything goes according to plan. The real measure of an organization is how its people respond when things become difficult. Fred Anderson Kia of Greenville demonstrated that standard. My mother’s Chevrolet Equinox required extensive and complicated repairs over an extended period. Because she lives in South Carolina and I live in Iowa, I coordinated much of the process remotely. Chris Kirby in the Service Department provided consistent communication, professionalism, honesty, compassion, and persistence throughout the entire process. This was not a simple repair situation. Chris continued working through the issues, kept me informed, coordinated with the technicians and others involved, and treated my mother and her vehicle with genuine care. His commitment made an extremely stressful situation manageable for our family. People. Performance. Persistence. Customer Care. My family sincerely appreciates Chris Kirby and Fred Anderson Kia of Greenville for the professionalism and commitment shown to my mother throughout this experience - Mel
2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid review
2024 RAV4 Hybrid XSE model is a great choice - interior road noise & front seats that do not glide back enough are my ‘wish I would have paid attention to’ regrets. If passengers are over 6’2” with long legs, they do not fit in the front seat comfortably & many times I feel like an Uber driver with them choosing the back seat when going distances. Hybrids make a lot of noise when backing up which can turn heads - this is normal so don’t be alarmed. Gas mileage is terrific & its sporty exterior is over the top. I do love it & recommend it if not concerned about the cons I have mentioned.

2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid review
PROS: * Overall 39 or 40 MPG combined city and highway. Really. * 500+ mile range on a full tank * Toyota's driver assist goodies work well (radar cruise, et. al) to reduce driver fatigue in both stop-and-go commuting and highway trips. * Sufficient power and acceleration to compete with big-city freeway traffic; uphill freeway on-ramps and so forth. * Nicely agile without being skittish. It goes where you tell it to with no drama. * I have done mild off-roading in Arizona. No problems, handles as hoped for. CONS: * Only one I can think of. Front seats are stiff. I find myself shifting my weight to get comfortable more often than I like.

I was looking for an Audi RS Q8. I met a young lady named Merry online. I’ve owned over 27 cars and SUV. She educated me on several things about Audi. She was never forcing me to buy but saying what makes sense. I will definitely come to her when I’m ready to buy. Thank you Merry
2024 Volvo XC60 Recharge Plug-In Hybrid review
The car has really nice performance and drives very nicely but a few quirks. First the manuals are only available digitally and in many cases it’s a complex game to find what you are looking for. The search function is not forgiving. In other cases the information is weak and missing key elements. Some settings are sticky (rain sensor for the wipers), others are not ( auto high-beams), with no rationale. The controls on the left side of the steering wheel are a mystery and the customization on the dash board view is either: show the map or don’t show the map ( which disappears when you shift into reverse). The sound controls for the radio are lacking: no fader or balance controls. Lastly, if you want your garage door opener controls integrated into the car, be prepared to shell out another $995.

2023 Honda Accord Hybrid review
We've been buying V6 Accords for years now. This one is a totally different beast, unlike the previous V6, which were powerful, but "nervous", this car is so SMOOTH, elegantly gliding along, VERY MUCH LIKE AN EV. Yet when I need power — it delivers. The MPG is more than DOUBLE of what we've been used to. I tested a few hybrid sedans, and the Accord was the smoothest, you can't feel it switching from hybrid to Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), as some others do. Definitely a great buy!

Piedmont Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM review
Just bought our 14 vehicle from Piedmont CDJR this past Saturday. And just like buying the first vehicle from them, the buying process was fast, friendly and most of all fair. And the service after sale is also fast, friendly and fair. Do yourself a favor, come experience the car/truck buying experience from Piedmont CDJR like me and my family have. Even family from Florida have bought from Piedmont.
2026 Jeep Cherokee review
So far, I really like this car. Only 2 things come to mind in the negative area. No heads-up display is offered and the warrantee could be longer. Other than that, it is a pleasure owning this car.

Piedmont Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM review
From my experience, Piedmont is your one place for buying or serving Jeep or Chrysler vehicles. Each team member is there to ensure you are taking care of quickly. Service after the sell is exceptional. Many times, they go above and beyond, by encapsulatating the experience with a car wash. As you step into either the dealership or Service, you are greeted with a smile. These days, it is nice there is one place you can always count on. Just like in the song I wrote "Lake Livin", I have found my place. Mr. TW Penland. Iva,SC
2022 Jeep Wagoneer review
Our 22 Wagoneer Series II is awesome. So quiet and the ride quality is like there's a layer of cream cheese between the road and the tires. Totally reliable, nothing but oil/filter changes. Super roomy and comfy interior.

Best dealership I have ever worked with. Enjoyable experience. Internet experience was great. Dealership worked with me to make the buying experience painless and I was very satisfied with the price.
2026 Ford Maverick review
I'm getting 42 mpg! Super impressive hybrid engineering and tech! I feel in control of the responsive hybrid system (activating electric mode with pedal modulation). I've towed a trailer with a quad and an oven, plenty of power. Payload capacity is WAY higher than expected. Acceleration is peppy and the transmission feels dialed in and reliable. Move over Toyota, there's a new hybrid king in town! Seriously, I can't think of a more versatile vehicle than this little truck... it can do it all, with comfort, style, and affordability. The only thing that could be improved is: I'd like to see the battery percentage of the 1.1kWh pack.

2024 Lincoln Corsair review
Bought a 2024 plug in Hybrid model in 2026 for 33,000. Car had 25,000 miles. I am overjoyed with the milage! With local driving I am getting 85MPG!!. Ride you would expect from. Lincoln. A few mild rattles on bumps and front doors if you crank the sterio. Only other concern is lack of mechanical buttons for cabin heat and air.. I bought the car to stop paying $$$ for feul in my Mercedes and it has accomplished that in spades. Very pleased...

2025 Ford Maverick review
I have abused this vehicle. Towed 6000#, pulling trees 4 ft in diameter and 60 ft tall that a Kubota tractor couldn't budge. I've run the xxxx out of it and I have no complaints. Best little truck money can buy.

Kia of Anderson review
I love the service department at this dealership! Work is always performed in a timely manner, and the employees have a “yes” attitude… Not trying to avoid fixing things or attacking on extra charges. It’s actually a pleasant experience. I recommend Kia of Anderson to all of my friends.
2026 Kia Sorento Hybrid review
So far tour KIA Sportage Hybrid runs flawlessly and drives great on the highwasy. Fully loaded with useful features and an incredible panoramic sunroof that's quite enjoyable during the warmer weather. Engine and transmission runs smoothly. Love the 10 year - 100,000 mile warranty; gives us peace of mind. One complaint is that although our model is top of the line, it does not come with the Homelink feature. To open our garage door we have to a remote attached to the diver;s side visor. All in all highly recommended!

2025 Honda Accord Hybrid review
Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L Review (1,500 miles) After careful research, I purchased a Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L and have now put just over 1,500 miles on it. As a tough critic, I’d give the car an overall 9/10, with many aspects deserving 4.5/5 stars. What I Like: The Accord feels exceptionally well-refined, handsome inside and out, and surprisingly high-quality. The dashboard and infotainment system are straightforward, responsive, and user-friendly. Controls are logically placed, voice commands and hands-free calling work reliably, and call quality is excellent on both ends. I especially love the regenerative braking paddles on the steering wheel. They keep me engaged while driving (especially in the city), help recharge the battery, and reduce wear on the brake pads. The driving experience is a highlight — the car feels agile and nimble in traffic, with competent acceleration, steering, and braking. It simply feels well-engineered and enjoyable to drive. On cold Michigan mornings, the vehicle warms up quickly, the windshield defrosts fast, and the cabin reaches a comfortable temperature within about five minutes of remote start. The three-level seat heaters are effective and useful for maintaining comfort without running the heater constantly. What I Don’t Like: Headlights: While the low and high beams provide good visibility, the automatic high-beam system is finicky. It sometimes stays on too long when oncoming traffic approaches, unlike the flawless system in my previous 2018 F-150. Seat Comfort & Space: For my daily 70-mile commute, the seats are adequate. As a 6’0”, 250 lb driver, I have plenty of headroom and the car comfortably fits five adults. However, I suspect the seats may not be plush enough for longer trips, and I wish there was a bit more legroom. Fuel Economy: This is my biggest disappointment so far. I drive about 85% highway miles. In cold weather (low 40s°F). I’ve been struggling to break 38–39 mpg, with occasional warmer drives reaching 42–43 mpg. I was hoping for closer to the advertised 48 mpg combined, even in winter, and expect improvement as temperatures rise. Data Privacy: I discovered after purchase that Honda and Google are collecting significant driving and vehicle data with limited options to control or limit what is shared with them and third parties. Overall Verdict: The Accord Hybrid EX-L is a refined, comfortable, and enjoyable daily driver with excellent build quality and thoughtful features. Minor frustrations with the auto high-beams, seat comfort for long trips, and lower-than-expected MPG in cold weather keep it from a perfect score. Still, I’d highly recommend it for most buyers, especially once warmer weather returns and fuel economy improves.

2025 Toyota Land Cruiser review
I purchased this car at the end of June 2025 and currently have only 5,000 miles on it. So far I love the Land Cruiser. The interior is very nice, but not especially plush. It is comfortable. The LC handles well, but I haven't taken it off-road, nor have I had to deal with difficult weather conditions. The drawbacks that I see are that it requires premium gas, does not get especially good gas mileage, and the gas tank is small for the size of the vehicle. I have no regrets in buying this vehicle.
