King Kia review
I went in with a friend to help her find a car after a terrible experience at another nearby dealership. We called ahead to see if the car was in stock and Maks was polite, knowledgeable, and helpful right off the bat. When we arrived at the dealership Maks was patient and genuinely listened to what we were looking for. It was a great experience for everyone and we were able to work out a great deal. I’ll also add the finance department was wonderful as well - clearly explained all options and wasn’t pushy about extras. Would recommend Maks to anyone looking to buy a Kia!
2022 Kia EV6 review
This car is amazingly fun to drive: it has a ton of power and torque, and handles like a sports car. I have the Wind AWD w/ Tech Package. The cabin is a good mix of touchscreen and physical knobs/buttons. The Meridian sound system provides fantastic audio. There is a lot of space with the rear seats folded flat.

All the people were very nice. The deal happened very quickly. Shipment was fast. Price was in my range. biggest problem with recharge is the AI phone receptionist. She never understands what I’m saying. The car did have 1000 more miles on it than the listing when I got it. the new car could’ve used a detail. there was still a french fry in the center console, blocking the charging port for the wireless charging.

They answered all of my questions quickly and professionally. A special thank you to Michael Maxey for making the financing process simple and transparent, and to Clara McLamb for her excellent communication and support throughout the process. I was very impressed by their honesty. They sent me a detailed video of the vehicle and showed its real condition, including small cosmetic imperfections. That gave me a lot of confidence. The delivery was also faster than expected. I started the purchase on Monday, and by Wednesday the car was already at my home. Now that I have received the vehicle, I can honestly say that Recharged exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy EV dealership.
2024 Kia EV6 review
Full disclosure: My dad technically bought it, but I had a huge hand in the decision and getting used to the car after buying. This is his first Kia. Mine was a Forte Koup SX. Both seem to be splendid. The seats aren't too plushy but I can still fit in them(unlike the N cars, which I can't fit in at all, being 30lb overweight) The performance threw me off because I found out after the test drive it was "only" 320hp. Very few SUVs have this kind of horsepower unless they're HUGE. This outhandles and outaccelerates his 270hp 2014 WRX. Yup, even though it's an SUV. So far it's been easy to charge, we use the local transit park'n'ride charger and just go do other stuff while it sits there a few hours. It's free, so he hasn't needed to even get a wall charger at home yet, which is good, because this isn't a $60 Tesla. Having to get a $2K level 2 charger would be a noticeable additional expense. The radio is AMAZING. Not the best I've ever heard, but for the price range, it is unlikely that anything is noticeably better, if better at all. I know everything has a backup camera these days, but I'm absolutely LOVING this thing's! Especially since I back into charging stations(I suck at backing up otherwise, especially in an SUV). Do your homework, make sure chargers are around. If you need to use it THAT much, consider that level 2 wall charger. Don't bother with the level 1 wall charger, it only charges 20 miles a day for this vehicle. I bought the car 2 days ago, this thing's forcing me to do a reliability rating. Disregard it. Bottom line: You couldn't get a gasoline SUV that matched these specs for this price. I don't think you could even come close.

2023 Kia EV6 review
Game changing. Luxurious and affordable. Makes relying fully on an EV an easy and comfortable reality. This car goes head-to-head (and beyond) with any luxury sedan. With the regen mode (which you choose the level of with the paddle to the left of the wheel) it's easy to get above the standard range level. Has auto pilot, lane change guidance, and auto distance/speed adjustment which are really helpful for long or late-night drives. Find the EV6 groups on social media for helpful tips.

I had a pretty good experience with Kia of Bethesda in the purchase of a used Mazda. There are a few positive experiences that I had with this dealership that I can honestly say I have never experienced with any other dealership before. I responded to an online advertisement for a used 2016 Mazda 3, and was contacted by Marcus R. initially. Marcus passed me on to his colleague Kevin F., and Kevin actually brought the Mazda to my house to pick me up for a test drive (never had a car salesman do THAT before!). The car drove pretty well, though I did noticed an odd droning coming from the front of the vehicle, which I remarked on to Kevin. More on that later. By the time we got back to the dealership, I told Kevin that I was interested in the car and that I could come back the next day to finalize the deal. He was very flexible and provided me with the initial "paperwork" which I would complete the next day. It just so happened that between the time I agreed to purchase the car and when I came back to finalize the paperwork, Ourisman (corporate) raised the price of the car, but the sales folks honored the priced that I had initially agreed to pay! I appreciated their integrity in that situation!! When I came back, I signed the necessary documents, but then had to wait for the financial person to finalize the deal and pay for the car. That wait was almost an hour...which was longer than I was expecting, but then Troia C., the finance manager was a real delight to work with and she moved through the purchase process very efficiently. I declined all the "extras" as the car was at the very top of my price range. When all was said and done, I drove the car home for what I thought was a very reasonable price. So, remember the "droning" I mentioned before, well I mentioned it again to Kevin after my purchase, and he said I should bring the car in for their mechanics to look at. A few weeks later (I went on vacation right after I bought the car) I took the car back and they replace the front wheel bearings as well as the driver's side axle shaft, which was damaged because the wheel bearing was so bad! This was somewhat surprising to me because this was something that should have been caught during the MD inspection that was completed on the car, but it wasn't. When I got the car back, i noticed the alignment was off...they likely had to disassemble the front suspension to replace the axle shaft, and should have done an alignment after that. I was working with my service advisor Jecson P., and when I called him about the alignment, he offered to pick up the car the next day, from my home, and have the alignment done, and then return the car to my house. This is "next level" customer service and I was extremely pleased with that accommodation. Have never had a service advisor do any thing like that before!! Amazing!
2025 Kia EV6 review
This car is amazing! Fun? Yes! Practical? Yes! How often do you get both of those in the same car??? I’ll never drive an ICE car again.

2023 Kia EV6 review
I bought a one year old GT line with 7000 miles on it for $37k. With no fed rebate available new or used its the only way the Kia is cost competitive with tesla and vw. I wanted the sunroof, heads up display and heat exchanger, so had to go w 4wd. Unfortunately the 4wd gt line also comes with 20" wheels with 255 width tires, this drops the efficiency much further than the heat pump helps it. The ride is also a bit firmer than in other 19" wheel equipped ev6 I've driven. Otherwise the car is great, actually listed by the EPA as a wagon, Kia wants to sell it as an suv, I love that it's a wagon. The only electric wagon you can buy in the US! (Porsche taycan cross turismo might qualify). The build quality is very good, feels as solid as my last Mercedes. Storage space is good but not as ultra efficient as tesla or lucid. Having standard controls for lights and wipers is a big plus. The software needs a little help as it is not in the same league as tesla when it comes to navigation and updates. The Meridian sound system is really bad. Meridian also provide systems for Jaguar and Range Rover and have some very well regarded and expensive home systems. I have no idea how this powerful 14 speaker system can sound so terrible but it does. It completely lacks smoothness and clarity, my 40 year old Proton clock radio is easier to listen to than this mess. I've gone online, tried every setting option available and have only managed modest improvements. Hopefully there is a software upgrade in the works that can help. The seats are comfortable, the range is decent and the charging can be fast. The full on performance in sport mode is a great party trick but eco mode is the way for daily driving. Buy a used one to avoid the immediate $20k depreciation and you have a great car that go head to head with anything out there.

My experience shopping for and ultimately buying a new Kia EV9 from Ourisman Kia of Bethesda at the end of May 2026 was exemplary from start to finish. Kevin Flores, from the sales floor, was friendly and helpful. There was no pressure to buy, I was able to see multiple colors and variations of the EV9, and there were none of the stereotypical car sales games. I was given reasonable numbers, Kevin worked with me and the management team to make sure the lease numbers I ended up with were a good fit for the car, trade, and life circumstances, and while there was some extended waiting between accepting a deal and getting final paperwork signed, that was largely down to me opting for a walk-in visit and purchasing same day, on a busy day - and Kevin kept me up to date as things progressed, while making sure everything that could be done ahead of finance office visit was done (including car detailing and charging top-up, preliminary paperwork signing, getting personal items out of my trade, etc). When it was my turn in the finance office, Troia Collins was equally great - acknowledging the time I'd already spent at the dealership and quickly getting through the remaining process without rushing me or skipping any important info. She fully respected what they knew about how I'd be using the car and other factors, and while she was sure to offer every available benefit and explain implications, she didn't press on any of the optional extras. Finally, a note on facilities: while situated in an on-street storefront in a busy urban area -- an unusual setup for a car dealership -- the space was easily a class above any other Kia dealership I've stepped foot in, inside and out. It was comfortable and tastefully decorated, while also maintaining a friendliness and welcoming atmosphere and that oft-pretentious upscale aesthetics often mean is lacking. I love the car, and am glad I made the hour long trek to Bethesda based on the positive reviews I'd seen rather than looking at options closer to home. The inventory is great, the staff are friendly and knowledgable, and at the end of an admittedly long day, I couldn't have been happier; Highly recommend.
2024 Kia EV6 review
I own a 2024 EV6 Wind AWD (traded in a 2012 Subaru Legacy Limited) and it’s probably the best car I’ve ever owned. And it can go 0-60mph in under 4½ seconds, which is on a par with some of my dream cars (Ferrari and Lamborghini from a few decades ago). Charging at home with a $150 charger that plugs into a regular power outlet is quick and adds power to the battery as I sleep. I have a YouTube channel where I post occasional videos, showing what it’s like to own an electric car in your silver-haired years. If you have questions, drop by and ask away.
