2020 Lexus LS 500 review
I am a long-time LS owner, also have an ‘02 LS430. We bought this car L/Certified when it was 24 months old. Main things I like : Styling Exclusivity Interior Design Fit & Finish Comfort Performance We only have one dislike: runflat tires don’t give near the mileage as normal tires. That’s easy to fix, just switch to regular tires when the time comes. This is a gorgeous car and a pleasure to drive. It’s an incredible long distance cruiser. Our car has AWD, luxury interior upgrade w/ Mark Levinson sound system, optional wood and leather steering wheel, massaging driver’s seat, and 20” wheels. Some are critical of the touch pad controller, but we have no problem with it. Great car! The only thing I miss is wireless phone connection.

I found my sales person to be rude and didn’t listen well to what I wanted. He would cut me off when I was speaking and it felt like a debate about who knew the most, or what I expected; him or me. He also questioned my military service because “some folks say they are but they aren’t”. My retired husband had to explain to him customer service protocol. I really didn’t want him to get my sell. They left all sort of stickers and plastic on the vehicle. I haven’t heard from them since my purchase even though I was told there would be a visit in a week after my purchase.

2020 Lexus LS 500 review
This is our 3rd LS and it is the best so far. The performance is exceptional for a Luxury Car. It offers a lot of technology, but it is not overwhelming or intrusive. I read some reviews about the touchpad interface. While it takes a little practice, I don't see what the fuss is all about. Most of the settings are "set it and forget it". Plus, very common settings are available through a redundant set of buttons, or you can use Voice Commands. I'm 64 years old, and it is not intimidating or difficult to master. The ride is smooth and quiet in normal or comfort, and the Sport and Sport + give you noticeable performance improvements in handling, acceleration, and shift points. Our previous 2010 LS460L was nice, but the ride was not as refined and the performance was mediocre. I also have a BMW750iL and while it moves the performance needle, it doesn't offer the same refinement in ride quality. I think the Lexus is more balanced if you prefer Luxury first, with a shot of performance when you want it.

I received a loner vehicle while my 2014 ES 350 Mark Jacobson Lexus stayed overnite at Chantilly. I woke up today January 24 full of brightness started my loaner Lexus and off we went. I did one errand and was prepared to return the loaner. Engine refused to turn over. Called my Lexus service rep Hetty Stoner and turned me over to Lexus Roadside Assistance. Came with in 45 minutes and off we went to Chantilly. Constructive tips- please give a loaner with at least half tank of gas and inform customer as to start up procedure in every loaner vehicle. Weather permitting make sure all loaners have been cleaned and washed for eye candy effect. First cabin not log cabin. I love Pohanka Lexus. Easy handling and a very smooth ride , pep if I need it. Comfortable and attractive interior, CarPlay and voice commands are a plus and an awesome sound system under a double sun roof. Love it.
