Recently purchased a Lincoln MKZ Reserve for my wife at Jim Xamis. It's about an hour away so obviously timing isn't always the best or easiest thing when buying a car that far away but it was pretty smooth start to finish. I mainly worked with Kevin (who we did most of the deal with) but we also worked with Sam (who is a newer employee). Sam set the car out for us and had a nice welcome sign on the car for us when we arrived.
Overall both salesmen were great to deal with and seemed to both really enjoy working at Jim Xamis. The atmosphere was welcoming and the overall process was really simple. Which is nice when you have 2 kids with you the whole time. Both guys were very quick to respond to questions via email/text/phone call which was very helpful.
Jim Xamis Ford - Lincoln is very fair with trade value and open and honest about the whole transaction. Something I greatly appreciate as it is not very common with most dealerships I have worked with. They also gave my wife a dozen long stem red roses as a thank you for doing business with them. Something I have never seen nor heard of before... my wife was extremely happy with the gesture. Something as small as that will earn them some return business. It put a smile on her face and that's not something I will forget.
The ONLY thing I would have liked to have seen done differently is to have the exterior of the car washed before I got arrived since they had a days notice. It was washed after we purchased it so that's not a huge deal (and it's not like it was filthy) but that was my only tiny gripe.
I will use Jim Xamis in the future and have already recommend them to people that I know that will be looking for new or used vehicles in the future. Well done!
I had the best experience buying my car from them. Denny Small was very friendly, easy to communicate with and most important (to me) not at all pushy or overbearing about purchasing from him. I will definitely go there to but another vehicle and recommend my family and friends to also.
I just bought a cream puff 2001 dodge pick up with only 26,000 miles on it. It could not have been any closer to what I wanted and in much better shape than I could have ever anticipated. Victoria was so helpful and kind through it all and I thank her for her help. I love my new buggy and I am so lucky to have found such a quality truck.
So far all I have done is sign the paperwork for the vehicle. They gave me the price I wanted on a 2018 BMW 640i GT and have worked with me to get the vehicle delivered on our anniversary (I am in a different state). Their explanations are concise as long as you are clear on what you are asking or what you want. I would recommend Isringhausen
My family and I drove from Quincy, Illinois (2 hours) to look at a Jeep Cherokee at Manito Auto Sales. We got a little lost and didn’t get there until 10 minutes before close, but Brody stayed open an hour and a half passed closing time for us, and even pulled up the Jeep, ready for a test drive, and showed us his family’s race cars while we waited for a phone call regarding finances. He was extremely polite and came up with every option to make purchasing a car a stress free experience for us. My parents have had bad experiences in the past with other dealers, but they trusted that’s Brody was doing the best that he could, and appreciated that he was willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy. We recommend Manito Auto Sales to family and friends, and would definitely drive that boring 2 hr drive again to purchase another car from Brody! We love our new Jeep Cherokee!
I was a hundred miles from home and 200 miles from my starting point when my BMW blew a tire. It was a holiday and I was in the middle of nowhere with all service closed. I called the BMW 800 number and thankfully they towed my car to BMW of Bloomington. I received a call Tuesday morning and learned I had to get new tires and they also performed the regular maintenance. I was concerned and surprised because my car had just been in my BMW service center for maintenance in July. I never thought once that my tires were bad. BMW 800 service got me a LIFT ride home, 110 miles with a wonderful BMW driver that told me Bloomington BMW was the best.
I had no idea how I would get my car home. I asked Jeremy for ideas when he called me. When my car was complete with new tires, break service and who knows what else, Jeremy called me with a plan. Ed Jackson drove my car to my door over a 100 miles away followed by another driver who drove them both back to Bloomington. I don't know much about cars and I rely on my dealer and the service to guide me and keep me safe. I'm so grateful that my catastrophy happened near Bloomington. You haven't seen the last of me.
