2005 Mercury Montego review
We just inherited a super-clean 05 Montego from my wife's brother, who used it for 15 years in his traveling sales job. Mostly highway miles and meticulously scheduled maintenance. At 499,230 miles, it runs like a new car. (the paint is worn off the control buttons, and the drivers seat is a little ragged, but otherwise this car looks and drives like a typical 120,000-miler. The back seat area is immaculate, and everything, sunroof, heated seats, mirror dimmer, AWD everything still works! Drives straight as an arrow at 80 mph effortlessly. So you Montego owners, take heart!. Keep changing that oil, and you could end up in a very long-term relationship with an excellent car!

2006 Mercury Montego review
Saw it setting on the lot and didn?t really pay attention to it until I got away from that ?DODGE LOOKING? grill the car looks pretty good other than that but still wasn?t real impressed. On the test drive I hit the highway and it surprised me. It handles good plenty of power. Interior is bigger than I expected and has all the bells and whistles most luxury cars have.I bought this car cheap with 130000 miles on it. 10,000 miles later and my only complaint is there?s no ashtray like most cars after 2005

2007 Mercury Montego review
I bought this car from an older gentleman who I'm assuming roadtripped with it and took very good care of it. When I bought it it had just under 200k and was in perfect working order. I am now approaching 250k and the car has only required basic maintenance and repair (alternator and a couple relatively cheap sensors). This car has been nothing short of very reliable. I could probably take it from Iowa to visit my sister in North Carolina and back with zero issues.

BOUGHT 19 FGLEX AS I ALWAYS WANTED 1 AND IT IS THE LAST YEAR THEY MADE IT....DIDN'T REALLY WANT TO SELL MY MONTEGO, BUT I DONT NEED 2 CARS...CHECK OUT SIMILAR YEAR CARS ON THE INTERNET...MANY HAVE WELL OVER 150,000 MILES STILL RUNNING STRONG THIS IS A HEAVY CRUISER BUT EXTREMELY EFFICIENT...OVER 400 MILES PER TANK FULL OF GAS. I WILL CRY WHEN SHE GOES....BUT I LOVE MY FLEX!

2005 Mercury Montego review
I bought this car used with 70,000 miles on it back in 2011 have had this car for over 9 years and it currently has 211 000 miles on it! I've had to replace things here and there but it's overall been a great car! I love how roomy it is. It has a HUGE trunk I love how high it sits up, not many cars taller then this one.very comfy car. for an older pretty simple car it's everything you could ask for.... I have taken it on several road trips and it's been a great work car if they were still being made today i would definitely buy one again
