Overall, Vandergriff Chevrolet service dept. did an excellent job on my repair. With an extended warranty, the repairs cost nothing. But if I do critique anything, is the trying to get me to spend $1,200 in new battery cables. There was nothing wrong with them.

My 2004 Mercury Sable gs was bought by my grandma back in 2004 and was passed down to me once I got my license. I will say that it is a very stereotypical grandma car but other than that it’s amazing. It handles great and gets great gas mileage, except for when driving at highway speed the wind does blow the car around the lane. The leather seats are very comfy and the heater heats up fast in the winter and the stereo good quality. For having 139,000+ miles on it, it keeps chugging on. There is no rust at all and it has really taken a beating in the past 7 years that the car has been in my parents possession. Overall the car is amazing and will drive it till it dies, and I don’t think it’ll die any time soon.

The 200 HP engine in the LS Premium gives this car pick up and go. The Leather interior is very comfortable and the MACH sound system is top notch; the heated mirrors were very much appreciated in the winter time. I was a second owner at 10,000 miles and kept this car for 13 years to 152,000 miles. All of the accessories/options still worked. It was a pleasure to pass it on to a new owner and I am sure it will last many more thousands of miles.

I flew out and was there Black Friday 2024 they helped me with taking back my rental car, and off I went 2100 miles home with a used 1999 Dakota. Was I a little stressed? xxxx yes! But, the truck was cleaner then anything I've seen. And it didn't skip a beat! 80mph or 65mph, she just kept going! I was home by Monday and she is still going strong 💪. After I got back, I had some questions about the title and everything, again everyone was extremely helpful. As with any used car, I will say do your own research, anything can happen at any time. This is a great car!!! We are very happy with car, we have taken this on a few road trips to PA and back from IN and to VA and back. We like the comfort on this, the only draw back was the back seat is not very roomy for tall teenagers, but we've had this a long time and if fit two car seats very comfortably. I call this my old lady car, because when I am too old to get up into my Jeep, I am going to have this car for putting around.

I got a 2001 Mercury Sable GS that just turned to 320,000 miles on it, only thing I ever had to replace was the alternator bout 7 years back, starter 3 years back and radiator a year ago but thats because a Turkey vulture smashed into it. Other than that it putters along amazingly, very controllable and useful. It doesn't give up and I'm hoping it will take me farther, my goal for it is to get to 400,000.
