I have the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander SE, and the only issue is the electrical system will turn off the display for a few seconds then it comes back on. The performance is awesome, and the power is great for a 2.4 ltr engine.

Purchased a new 2022 Outlander SEL S-AWC with the touring package. It has many great features and is a very comfortable vehicle. The layout of everything is convenient. I love the Bose stereo and 2 tone interior. The interior materials are good quality and have a nice appearance. The drive is very quiet and fuel economy is decent. There are a few things that I think are "short sighted" in the design. The heated steering wheel/heated seats. Nice features but they constantly turn off. They turn on when you remote start using My Mitsubishi Connect, but turn off as soon as you enter the vehicle and start driving. Very annoying! S-AWC is also annoying. We have lots of cold and snow. Every time you turn off the vehicle, the driving mode resets. You get back in and need to change the driving mode in addition to turning on the seats and steering wheel. Make a trip to the bank, get back in the vehicle, the seats are off, the steering wheel is off, and the drive mode is reset. Then go to the grocery store. Come out and repeat the process. Every other vehicle I have owned was capable of remembering settings. It is disappointing that Mitsubishi could not figure that out. The thing I absolutely hate: Mitsubishi does not offer remote start from the key fob. They have an app called My Mitsubishi Connect. It is their version of remote start. It is sold as more "convenient" because you can do it from your phone. The app is very unstable and fails more often than it works. There are many features in the app. Same story over and over. The features fail more often than they work. The "recommended solution" is uninstall the app and reinstall it. My morning routine became unlock my phone. Open the app. Put in a passcode. Navigate through the app to find the remote start because it is not conveniently located. Press the button to use the remote start and get prompted to put in your passcode again. Then answer the prompt asking if it is parked in a safe place. Next you get to wait and wait and wait for it to respond. It can take anywhere from a few seconds to a several minutes. It might work. It might fail. The app also locks/freezes until you receive a notification. When you get a fail message, it allows you to go to a help screen which provides ZERO help! Other recommendations I found in addition to reinstall the app include clearing your phone cache and restarting your phone. Sometimes the uninstall and reinstall work, the others have not. I have read many of the same complaints about the app online. Mitsubishi charges $14.95 a month for the app. If you don't pay the ransom, Mitsubishi will not let you use the remote start functionality that they charge you for when you buy the vehicle. I went to the dealer to see what other options there were. Seems the dealer also knows the app is a problem. For somewhere in the neighborhood of $650(ish), they can install a Mitsubishi remote starter that allows you to avoid the app. I contacted a local car stereo shop. For less than half the cost the local shop can install one with a lifetime guarantee. The new Outlander is a really nice looking vehicle. The options are great. The drive is comfortable and there are lots of nice features. Mitsubishi did a great job upgrading the Outlander but missed the mark with many common sense things. They also get a 100% fail on My Mitsubishi Connect.

Absolutely love this SUV! Recently rode in a Cadillac XT5, the ride and interior of the vehicle was not at the level of the Outlander. I was shocked at the difference and when you consider the price difference…WOW! Mitsubishi definitely produced an impressive vehicle. Gas milage around 30mpg, interior is beautiful and ride is Great. Love the Warrenty and service dept although I haven’t needed anything but an oil change. I have had numerous people ask about This SUV and comment on its exterior and check out the interior. More than any vehicle I have owned. I am a happy member of the Mitsubishi family!
