just sold my 1991 j350sdl, might be having sellers remorse. i ve had the car for 12 1/2 years. sure, things to fix, but a great car. my neighbor told me, my driveway is not the same without the classic 126 diesel in it. I would recommend any of the 126 model cars, anything se or sel. but do be careful in buying, there are many that have been neglected for years. realize they are at least 28 years old now in the 126 series. have someone help choose the right 126 style model and you will love it. I just acquired a 1991 560sel a month ago, another 126 body, with only 81,000 miles. going to miss the classic Mercedes diesel clatter, but now have the performance of the 5.5 liter gas motor and all the options heated seats front and rear. happy motoring !!!

Looked internet and got a return call from sales person but I had already purchased vehicle from carmax at a lower price

Car was bought as a graduation gift by my dad and I love it! Better than I thought it would be on gas for a car of this reputation, have yet to have any issues out of it and I got it with a great deal of miles on it. Always getting compliments on it as well which is nice.

I purchased it used 6 months ago with very high mileage. I am still in shock of how good this vehicle is. For starters, not having to do specifically or exclusively with Expeditions, this vehicle is very clean in an out and all around. The paint still shines like new and I believe it to be original, 9/10. The interior shows very light ware. Some leather conditioner and she’ll be a 10/10. The reality is that vehicles like these are usually purchased by very large families with kids so the interiors are usually bad news. Having said that, the previous owner of this vehicle REALLY LOVED this truck as I do. 200k miles on the clock and this thing rides like a dream. I have all the same features and options as the unit used for this article, with the addition of video player with dual monitors on the headrests. The gas mileage is not great but I work from home and we have a multi vehicle household so the gas mileage was not as much a concern for me as it may be for others. In all honesty, I spend my time driving it around on weekends trying to find things to do or cargo to fill it up with just because I can. I am not a handy guy so projects around the house are handled by payed handymen, but I am literally always trying to think about what I can put in it. I am considering purchasing a small travel trailer for some camping adventures. The one thing I am tempted to do, but won’t, is to take a very long road trip in it. I won’t because it does have the previously mentioned 200k on the odometer and because I am not handy, I don’t want to have something go wrong 1k miles from home, but it is so tempting. This is truly one of, if not THE BEST vehicle I’ve ever owned. If you want to look trendy or like to attract attention with a flashy car, this is not the one for you. It looks very dated. My last piece of advice, DO NOT BE OVER CONFIDENT WITH YOUR DRIVING ABILITIES. If you are intimidated by driving a VERY LARGE vehicle in tight spaces or don’t like to use your mirrors to back up because, “I got this,” with your backup camera, this vehicle is not for you. You should be skilled behind the wheel to own this vehicle. I would most certainly recommend this vehicle to anyone in the market for this type of vehicle.

I bought this car with 200k miles on it. Still runs great and its a perfect car if your looking for more luggage space. Great camping car too! I just love this van and I couldn't ask for more.

I bought this car in August 2018 with 29K miles, and traded it with 232,442 miles on it. If you want a reliable compact sedan, this is definitely it. With regular maintenance, this car kept going great until the past few months when it needed big repairs. It's very fuel efficient and handles well. It's not the quietest or rides the nicest, but for a compact car, it was just decent. The trunk could hold quite a bit of stuff if needed. There wasn't a lot space in the central console area to put stuff. It's easy to park even without a backup camera. I would definitely recommend this car as a inexpensive, reliable, and dependable car that can get the job done.

We came in to look at 2 EV vehicles. A Tesla model Y and a Nissan Ariya. They hade a great selection of pre owned EV’s. Very nice facility and very helpful staff. Would highly Recommend if your wanting to purchase and EV.

the best car I have ever owned, .well put together, built to last. Bought new 17 years ago, still have , still up and running, 93,000 miles on the clock, still able to pull up to a flawless 131 mph ......the secret....just perform basic care and maintenance and use only a trusted facility or mechanic for the upkeep and repairs

Worked on one for a friend and this car is smooth and easy to work on. It's big and roomy and very stylish even today. The only thing I seen that I did not like was it doesn't get good gas mileage and it's a V6. Kinda to much weight for a V6 to be pulling but once you get it on the highway it's definitely a cruiser and smooth.

I bought car in 2024 with single owner and well maintained at Lexus dealership. Drove almost 20K miles and no other expense other than pcc valves & regular maintenance. Drives lile riding on cloud so silent that few of my buddies newer 2025 year cars don’t keep up to standards. 20 year old car & nothing squeks in interior

I loved this Mazda, and very grateful to have 13-strong years and counting with it! Bought it new, awesome v-6 engine, fine handling (ok, bedside the poor turning radius). Never has had any serious problems. The engine smells like she's burning oil, but it's never been low when I've checked it! Great van.

I bought my truck new and it's still running great with over 260K miles. I changed the oil every 3K then switched years ago to synthetic and know every 5K and transmission fluid every 30K. I maintain the vehicle when required per owners manual if not before. This truck has gone everywhere hunting and driving the back roads of Arizona and now Alabama. Never had a quad or sidexside as my truck served that roll. Very satisfied as vehicle has cost me on average $154.33 a month to maintain over the past 238 months since new.

I've owned Honda's for most of my life. Not once ever disappointed in quality of build and reliability. Have always taken very good care of my vehicles. This 2004 Honda CR-V is no exception. What a great reliable vehicle it has been and is and has never once let me down. Couldn't recommend more.

Bought a 2009 6 cylinder Ford Escape LTD. Bought it used with about 68,000 miles in 2013. Loved the look and handling. Extremely reliable vehicle. Did regular maintenance, oil changes, tuneups, tire rotations, replaced tires twice, high speed wheel balances done with alignment, etc. Recently had an oil pan gasket replaced. Never any major repairs, except replaced the water pump x2. Once in 2018 at 150,000 miles again in 2024 at 208,348 miles. It always ran great. It was a southern car until 4 years ago. So, did not have a rust issue. Unfortunately, a Buck came out of nowhere last week after dark and totalled my beautiful Escape. I wasn't hurt. But, the frame was damaged and it was not worth repairing with 213,000 miles on it. I am sure it would have made it to 300,000. Trying to find another. But, live in the North now and rust is a major issue. Heartbroken! I wish Ford would go back to making this style of Escape and with the 2009 reliability. I am hoping to find a 2008 thru 2012. But, need the AWD version. The FWD wasn't great traction in the rare snow we had down South. But, still managed to get me home when a freak snowstorm hit...and everyone was following my car, lol.

I have own this V70 2,5 t Classic Geartronic for 3 Years now. It is my 13’th Volvo sinne 1986 and the best one. Nice styling, one of the best seats on the planet, powerful and reliable engine and the body withour rust. No matter, how much gears you have with you. And great enjoyable easygoing quiet ride. Perfect Swedish engineering. And A lot of car for 6000€. I have now over 300 000 km on the clock. The only negative thing was This German made leaking Zf- power steering rod. By the way, it is possible to get renewed one from Lenkungspezialist from Germany only 270€! Better than replacement part, which cost ovet 600€.

I bought my 4x4 Nissan XE King cab 4 cylinder 2.4 l in 1999 brand new from the dealer. It was tight as you could get. I have 262,000 miles on it of which I've driven every single one. The timing chain finally gave out at 200,000 miles and I replaced the water pump head gasket a couple of valves CV boot transmission transfer case alternator shocks tires u-joints including the carrier bearing and put new springs on the back and a new bumper on the back. It's had a shell on it it's whole life and I covered the seats since I've had it. So the seats and the bed are in great condition practically perfect. It runs like a top and it seems like it's brand new. This is an excellent truck and I just can't get rid of it. I could never replace it with something as good as it is for the money that people would want to pay me for it. I highly recommend these trucks. It's a rarity to have a four-wheel drive extra cab four cylinder truck because typically they have a six cylinder motor. The motor is strong as heck. Even after the top end rebuild. Thank you Nissan!

I looked for months for the right car, and had had a string of bad luck with sales folks at other dealerships being pushy or lying about cars they were selling. Luckily, I recently found Low Country Auto Sales and bought my dream car from them at what I think was a very fair price. With the help of Joe and his son, the process of buying a car from them was extremely easy and pleasant. I had the car inspected soon after buying it and Joe offered to fix the few very small things that needed to be replaced for free. He has been very communicative (always answering the phone and providing helpful information) as I've had questions about the car since buying it. As he said when I bought the car, they stand behind the cars they sell and I have definitely found that to be true. The dealership isn't large in comparison to others, but I would wait to buy the car I want from them in the future, rather than buy from someone else. Cannot say enough positive things about this dealership and Joe!

This car is one of the best cars I have ever owned it’s always safe reliable and never breaks down! Drove it to Canada and back in 2024 November! 8 hrs straight with 167k on the motor and he didn’t hesitate to take me their! it’s also a very safe car! I hit a barrier trying to avoid high way accident. All it left was a dent I spun. Around and all. The car started right back up and I went on my way past the accident lol. My sister also hit a a dumpster and the previous owner old lady hit something as well. Not like these new cars they will just shatter like glass and cost a fortune. They are cheap to maintain and easy to work on recently my transmission died at 188k. But it was very cheap to find a replacement with low miles for cheap 450 to be exact. Cars is very affordable and easily modified-able to modernize. Lots of space and huge trunk can also fit 6 people. Do yourself a favor and buy one of these you won’t regret it! Chicks digg the Buick! Purchased a Toyota Truck from this dealership. They never put on the "High Pressure" sale tactics and let me take my time. I decided to take the truck to the Toyota dealership also there in West Ashley to have them perform a post purchase inspection to be sure the truck was sound. I have two, a 2000 and a 1999. One has most things working and a rough engine. The other is the opposite. I figure that putting these tow together would tell me why I love the machine so much. It's fast enough; it handles superbly; it's comfortable, whether getting in and out a lot (around town) or on long trips. Drawbacks are that everything is electric-powered, and you'll either be lucky or you'll be chasing one power-draining problem after another. Parts (aftermarket parts) are cheap; BMW parts -- forget it. Mechanically, the car is a dreamboat. Perhaps the best $1000-$1500 car you can get, regardless of mileage. (One has a broken speedo -- I use a GPS for a speedo -- and 160k; the other has a working speedo and 234k.)

I couldn’t afford car payments anymore and just wanted a car for local driving. So I purchased this car with cash. The 137,000 miles on the car made me nervous. I purchased the car at the end of 2022 and the car so far has been great. I’m trying to reserve mileage because the car already has high mileage but already put around 2000 miles on it and the car runs like a charm with no problems.
