2026 Toyota bZ review
Toyota decided to get serious with their electric compact suv over their earlier version. Lowered the price making it competitive with all others in this class. Also making it now competitive is the increase in driving range, the XLE AWD model gets a significant boost with a 288 mile range. In addition the horsepower on the XLE AWD increased to 338 providing 0-60 in the middle 4 second range… that’s head snapping power. Also, major improvements were addressed to the charging system… now able to charge significantly faster and it comes using the NACS (North American Charging Standard) outlet connection for faster charging ( (originally called the Tesla charging connection). I personally enjoy driving the bZ around town but also on major roads. It runs quietly as an electric should but also isolates road noise. The instrument panel is different but coming from driving my plug in hybrid Prius Prime I’m used to different. I trust Toyota overall quality over all other manufacturers whether the vehicle is a traditional combustible gas engine or now electric.

I've never left a review for a dealership or salesman before, mostly because I've always been taught that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. So, this is a first for me! Mike, the Internet Sales Manager, made our experience super easy. We talked to four different people from start to finish for various parts of the deal, and I never felt pressured or like anyone was trying to pull a fast one on us. Everyone was very upfront and transparent. We went in super informed, knowing exactly what we wanted, what we were willing to pay, and the minimum we were willing to accept for our trade-in.
