Elk Grove FordReviews
Elk Grove Ford review
Just purchased a 2022 Dodge Laramie 2500 from Elk Grove Ford. Our salesman was Mike (self described as big hairy guy with a hat!!) He was absolutely amazing!! Had everything done and prepared for us, as we were coming from San Diego to purchase. Great dealership..even better customer service, which just isn’t always the case these days sadly. Thank you Mike for an excellent experience at Elk Grove Ford.
2026 Ford F-250 review
We did a lot of comparison between the F250 and other American made pick up models. In our opinion, the 2026 F250 platinum model offered the best value for our purposes. We are very pleased so far.

Toyota Vallejo review
Great dealership, and Andrew Kahrimanian is an absolute gem. The only reason Toyota as a whole is thriving in my opinion.
2026 Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid review
I have had the car one month so far, RAV4 plug n see They say I can go 50 miles on electric charge, I am getting 55 to 58 depending on my driving style with running the a/c. So far I have not used a drop of gas. I am charging at night from 10pm to 7 am using 110 standard plug. The lowest I have taken battery down is 28%. Our local electric company has great rates from 12 to 6 am, I have figured my charging cost at about .64 cents per night for a full charge. The car is very quiet and smooth, with the horse power at 300 plus it is very quick. Looks great and runs like you want.

Shottenkirk Honda Davis review
After looking online for a couple of weeks, and searching within 2 hours of the Bay Area, we decided to head for University Honda. We exchanged emails and made an appointment to meet with the internet sales reps. We arrived as schedule and had someone with us within 5 minutes. We negotiated pricing and ended up with a deal that beat anyone else within 200+ miles. No pressure sales and very earnest and straightforward about the deal. A DETAILED personalized walkthrough of the entire vehicle before we left the lot. EXTRA BONUS - we left the car at the dealership while we went to lunch and took a brief tour of Davis.
2026 Honda Civic review
Positive Points Exceptional Fuel Efficiency: The hybrid powertrain delivers outstanding gas mileage, registering highly competitive figures for city and highway driving without the need to plug in.Engaging Handling: The car offers a dynamic and fun-to-drive experience, featuring sharp steering, a stable suspension, and excellent road grip.Spacious Cabin and Cargo: The interior provides ample room for passengers, and the trunk capacity—especially in the hatchback configuration—ensures high practicality for daily use.Solid Reliability and Safety: It maintains Honda's strong reputation for durability, backed by high crash-test ratings and a comprehensive suite of standard active safety systems.Intuitive Technology: The dashboard features a responsive, easy-to-use infotainment system paired with high-quality, tactile physical buttons for essential climate and audio controls.Negative Points Intrusive Cabin Noise: Wind and road noise are noticeably loud inside the cabin, particularly at highway speeds or when equipped with factory sports tires.Premium Pricing: The initial cost is noticeably higher than many of its direct competitors in the compact sedan and hatchback segment.Underpowered Base Powertrain: The standard non-hybrid engine feels slow, and the continuously variable transmission (CVT) can deliver a dull, uninspiring acceleration experience.Missing Basic Amenities: It lacks a physical spare tire—providing only a fix-a-flat repair kit—and lower trim levels are missing standard features expected at this price point.Stiff Seating on Long Drives: The front seats are firm and lack proper lumbar support, which can lead to physical discomfort during extended trips.

2025 Honda Prologue review
I have owned this 2025 Prologue Touring AWD SUV for 3-months, driven 6,500 miles including a 2,200-mile road trip from Austin, TX to Telluride CO. and back and am very satisfied with my purchase. It doesn't have the range or acceleration of an AWD Tesla or Kia EV6, but the performance and range are good ( about 5.9 seconds to 60 mph and real range of 220 miles at 20-80 percent charging) and it is VERY comfortable with a smooth ride. Prologue is a great commuter SUV and a good road car for 200-400 mile distances. I had no issues fast charging at Tesla superchargers across the 2,100 mile Texas to Colorado trip, just plan on a short bathroom-charge break every three hours. The Touring package includes many Tech amenities like heated seats, apple car play, auto headlights, great info-media, navigation, adaptable cruise control, lane assist, auto remote locks, auto tailgate and more. Honda-Link-Onstar works well to control basic features, like charging, cabin temperature control, locks, lights, tire pressure and more. Fast Charging experience is good, but not any faster than 155 kwh at superchargers or 20-80 percent in 25-minutes ..SO just Home Charge it for commuting and save money-NO GAS STATIONS. This is a great SUV to transition from ICE to EV's, and the adjusted prices are reasonable. It looks like a Honda SUV, but has a good blend of GM-EV qualities that make a GREAT EV...

2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid review
We purchased our new 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid TrailSport last month and love it! It drives very smoothly and has a nice, quiet ride. I’ve been getting 35 mpg so far, which I’m really happy about for it being a mid sized suv. The Apple Car Play is great. I’m enjoying the technology in the vehicle and feel it’s perfect without being distracting. I love the look of this design of CR-V, especially in the Ash Green Metallic we chose! I had previously been driving a 2018 luxury hybrid suv. Ultimately I decided that this vehicle has a quieter ride, better fuel economy and is a perfect fit for my around town commuting. In addition, both the dealership and Honda were offering great incentives. My son purchased the exact same model ‘26 CR-V (in a different color) last October. He loves it as well and recommended we check it out during our vehicle search. Now we have two in the family!

Toyota Vallejo review
I recently visited Toyota of Vallejo to explore used vehicle options, and although I didn’t end up making a purchase this time, I had a genuinely great experience. Andrew Kahrimanian was friendly, patient, and informative. He took the time to answer all my questions and made the entire visit comfortable and pressure-free. I truly appreciated his honesty and professionalism throughout the interaction. I’ll definitely be referring friends and family who are in the market for a car, and I’ll be back myself when the time is right!

Woodland Motors review
I just want to share how much I appreciate Woodland Motors. My salesperson, Denario Tatmon, was truly a pleasure to work with. He never pressured me at any point—he really listened to what I wanted in a vehicle and took the time to research options within my price range. He found exactly what I was looking for and had it ready for me the very next day. Denario walked me through the entire car-buying process, breaking everything down in a way that made it easy to understand. He was incredibly patient and took the time to answer all of my questions and address any concerns I had. This was my first time purchasing a car completely on my own—no co-signer, no husband handling things for me, just his support in the background. It was a big moment for me, and Denario made it a great experience from start to finish. Thank you, Woodland Motors—I absolutely love my new ride! 🚗✨

I got in contact with my salesman Q over the phone on Friday afternoon letting him know I would be coming in the next day and he got everything ready when I got there. I had to travel in from the Salinas Valley, so I really didn’t want my time wasted, and I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly we got to agreeable numbers. From start to finish, it was about 2 hours total. If you have bought cars, you can appreciate how fast that really is. Thank you Q and the rest of the staff for making my trip quick and easy. Thank you to the detailers who had my car shining when I got there!
2026 Honda Passport review
I've had the vehicle for 2 weeks. I like it but it's ridiculous the AC is not cold enough because it automatically keeps switching to "woke" mode. Meaning, Economy Drive mode. No way to switch it. Honda needs to fix this. The AC sucks in the 2026 Passport top model

2026 Honda Civic review
This is my third Civic and I believe it is the best one yet. The 2 Liter engine is smooth and powerful. The cabin noise is low and its handling very sporty. All the new safety features, like lane watch, blind spot warnings and rear back up camera really work well. The air conditioning is stronger too. A pleasure to drive. I recommend the hatch back.

Toyota Vallejo review
Excellent Service from Start to Finish! I had a fantastic experience with Toyota Vallejo and their team. The staff was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful—no pushy sales person or tactics or gimmicks. They were willing to help me find the right deal for the Prius Prime I wanted to buy. The process was smooth from start to finish. The sales manager, Andrew, explained every step clearly and worked with me to find deal that fit my budget. The car was detailed, gassed up, and came sooner than I expected. It’s not often that car buying feels easy and stress-free, but this dealership made it happen. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new Toyota or any other used vehicle they carry because of their exceptional customer service. I’ll definitely be coming back when it’s time for my next car!

2026 Honda Odyssey review
We had a 2019 that was a good car, but we decided to upgrade to a 2026. We love it. The only problem we had was the A/C wasn't blowing cold. For some reason it was over charged. But that has been fixed and we are loving it.

Shottenkirk Honda Davis review
I had an outstanding experience working with Phillip Najera at Shottenkirk Honda with the purchase of my 2026 Honda Accord Touring Hybrid. From the very beginning, Phillip demonstrated exceptional professionalism, knowledge, and dedication to ensuring I received the best possible financing approval based on my individual financial situation. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and worked diligently to secure the precise vehicle and loan terms I wanted. Throughout the entire process, Phillip was transparent, patient, and genuinely committed to achieving the best outcome for me rather than simply making a sale. His level of customer service far exceeded my expectations and is a true reflection of what outstanding automotive sales and customer care should look like. Employees like Phillip Najera are a tremendous asset to Shottenkirk Honda and deserve professional recognition for their commitment to excellence, integrity, and customer satisfaction. Because of Phillip's exceptional service, I will confidently return to Shottenkirk Honda for future vehicle purchases and will gladly recommend both Phillip Najera and the dealership to family, friends, and colleagues. He has earned my trust, my loyalty, and my future business.
2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid review
Granted, I've driven less than 400 miles and I love it. The safety features, moonroof, A/C, audio system, appearance, headlights, all scream, "this is nice"! I don't regret purchasing this.

Toyota Vallejo review
Staff was a pleasure to work with and they were knowledgeable about the car I purchased.
2026 Toyota RAV4 review
I've now had the car for a month and 1,000 miles. As many have already stated, Toyota cheaped out on the interior (in fairness, I drive the poverty edition LE), lots of hard plastics, sharp corners and intruding fixtures. The good news is that it looks like the interior will wear forever. I do like the seats in the LE much better than any other trim level. Yes, they are basic cloth but are supportive, hold you firmly in turns and are easy to clean. Drive train wise, Toyota has nailed it again. Smart to go only hybrid or plug-in hybrid as this seems to be the future. 42MPG out of an SUV, even a compact one, is impressive while giving up nothing in the way of power or responsiveness. Having none of the connectivity issues cited for Android Auto so may be just lucky or an older phone - who knows. Touch screen is fairly easy to use and nice that the climate controls are always shown. Styling is such a subjective thing but I like it, even more once I swapped out the dark wheels for a more old-school silver set. Since $35,000 is considered "cheap" in today's world, you won't do any better in an SUV. I've also owned the new Camry and if you are a sedan person, it's an even better deal than the RAV4 and much more luxurious

Superstition Springs Lexus review
James and Lin were great. Night and day difference between this dealership and another I had gone too. It was my first time buying a car and I had already had Earnhardt Toyota nearby rope a dope me around for 5 hours with bs. I went in and they were able to get me the car I wanted at the price I could afford. This is stress relieving as I am a college student that works full time. They had me in and out in less than 3hours and they were easy to work with, were very straightforward, and had very little bs to drag you around and keep you there forever. Overall, great experience buying my first car.
