I bought a 2015 Chrysler 300 S . I had a problem with the smart key. They owner, Johnny Dangerfield, solved the problem with my Smart Key and also gave me an extra Smart Key , free of charge. My entire experience there was great.

I experienced a CVT transmission problem with my 2014 Nissan Sentra. Adam Geist (Service Director) personally took care of me. Very minimal cost to my family. From the moment I drove onto the lot till the moment I left with my new Kia Stinger gt1. tony Washington greeted me immediately and made me feel comfortable. He offered a test drive and I was hooked, He was way more knowledgeable about the car than I expected, ive been in the car business for more than 40 years and usually its me telling the salesman about the vehicle he is trying to sell me. I also want to give a shout out to Adam Ritchie, he also went the extra mile for me in obtaining what was a very unique finance situation, I cant thank him enough and lastly Mike Brand in finance. He was very thorough and helped me get through this process quickly and explained the extended warranties in a way that I had not thought entirely through. The answer to what you really want to know is yes I will be returning to buy another vehicle from kia country and I hope these same 3 can help make buying a car as painless as you could ask for. Service department at Carmax superceded my expectations! Called to have a service done on my Nissan and they were able to accommodate my tight schedule even though they did explain their schedules were tight as well. The amount of time I waited was far less than any dealer I've ever been to, and Dave in the service department greeted me by name and wore a smile until I left! They even washed my car for me and let me know if there was anything I needed to not hesitate to give them a call.
Went into the Carmax store just to look for a car for future purchase. I was greet immediately by Mr. Carl R Emery and from there things went smoothly. We asked about cars and he talk to us a little about them and told us to have a look and call on him if we need to look in, test drive or just ask question about any of the vehicles. We end up buying a car! Customer service was great and now we will have to drive the car for a little while before I will make any comments. OVERALL the experience.
My situation must have been the most difficult situation ever at a Carmax, even though it was tough and the Managers and Myself got frustrated at times Ed, Dave, Eric, and Chris (Carmax Charleston Managers) never gave up on me and worked hard to make this thing happen. I came to them looking for my dream car, the Mitsubishi Lancer RalliArt or Evolution on a limited budget. They found the vehicle and brought it in, I bought the vehicle and there were a few problems with it, the guys took the car back no questions asked and found another one, even though there were some other issues that occured the Management staff at Carmax stuck by me and helped me make it happen. Anyone new to the car buying process should go see the team at Carmax, Charleston, as they will guide you through the process and explain it to you the whole way through!
