2019 Nissan Maxima SL Review
Car is a great value !

1st thing you can do is look past the inflated sticker price as the actual deals on the Maxima make this car a super value! When this design appeared in 2016 the rest of the competion needed 3 years to try to catch up...and they haven't. We loved our 2016 so much we just replaced it with a 2019. This car comes with so much standard equipement and the Platinum level has things you cannot get in an Avalon or an Acura TLX. Like Panoramic sunroof, power rear window shade, drivers seat thigh extension. remote start from key fob, Google car play, larger tires, roadside spped sign reader, etc. While other manufacturers brag about their many transmission gears, the Maxima tops them all with an infinite ratio constant velocity transmission. What this means to the consumer is a turbine smooth power delivery and an honest 32+ mpg on the road. In reality this is a 4 passenger car for best comfort. While not a sports car, the design makes for a great handling and stopping car. Nissan has upgraded all the latest safety features like emergency braking etc. The problem here is this vehicle offers so much it is often comparded to those costing 5 to 10 grand more.
Very professional and knowledgeable service. Worked hard to accommodate my schedule. Work was done on time and recommendations for future service work was appreciated. Didn't try to "up sell" on services that I didn't want or need.

First vehicle I’ve ever bought, and I love it

This car is pretty nice. Gets good gas mileage. Plenty of leg room in the front and back seats. Doesn’t have a problem hitting the highway.
This was by far the BEST EVER experience I have had in all of my 50+ years of buying a car! Tony Martinson was the best at his job as anyone I have ever done business with. Friendly, professional, not pushy and worked hard to get me the best pricing, financing, and the exact car I was looking for. I recommend anyone to go there first and leave there ? Happy!

More Sporty ride and look, with luxurious options
by Btfsu from Florida

Bought a 2017 Maxima SL loaded. I researched on NADA with all the options it has and MSRP when it was bought in July 2017 was $40,700ish. Car rides a lot like the Infiniti G35 Coupe I owned 15 years ago, but Maxima has 4 doors and more features.
Great price of around $22k only 19 months after original owner purchases it. Car handles well a has decent acceleration. Very fun car to drive and also safe for my family. A steal for the price paid. Highly recommend buying about 2 years old.
My kids call it the Bat Mobile cause it’s sporty and accelerates better than our previous cars.
Excellent service I had when looking for a used car. Joe was kind and considerate with my requests and even let me drive the car home so my dad could look at it as well. Tom's Auto went above and beyond to make it the best experience for a single mom on a limited budget. Thank you again for a great experience and look forward to doing more business with you!

Enjoyed my Nissan Maxima

I really enjoyed my Nissan Maxima and just purchased my third Nissan. Prior to the Maxima I owned an Altima and decided to transition to a Crossover SUV style.
I moved to Iowa and discovered that the only Infiniti dealership would be in Des Moines, about 120 miles from home. I contacted them to have my car serviced (scheduled maintenance) and they offered to pick-up the car at home and drop off a loaner. It takes a little bit more time than just walking in for service (one day for travel each way, plus the service), but it is a VERY good perk, as it is convenient and do not cost anything. All people that I dealt with were nice and everything went as expected. The only small downside is that the loaner is far from the same level from my car. However, this is something you can live with, considering the benefits.

Very reliable car, super smooth ride.

Car is plenty spacious and very comfy. It rides very smooth, accelerates effortlessly, great brakes. Get great gas mileage. Has been a great car to me.
Needed new bumper cover, windshield on my 2004 MINI. Made appointment at a convenient time, car was done a couple of days later. Work is well done - no wind whistles from the new windshield, seams at bumper cover line up perfectly and color is so close to perfect match for 13-year-old paint you can't tell it's newer. Price charged was reasonable.

Amazing car for the money

My 2017 Nissan Maxima SL has everything I ever wanted in a car I’m very surprised it is not rated higher. The Nissan Maxima is an excellent choice, it’s one of the safest and most reliable car in the class and is a lot of fun to drive thanks to the V6 engine
I have been looking for a new car for about two months now and decided to look into a new Ford. A few weeks ago I was attending a wresting camp in Iowa and decided to conpare prices to those in Kansas. Ames Ford and Lincoln was one of the dealerships I looked at while I was in Iowa. I was blown away by the customer service. The business was very well organized and I received great support from the staff. One employee named Kerrigan, made my experience exceptional! He left a great impression of himself and Ames Ford and Lincoln. Although I did not buy a vehicle, Mr. Kohnen made my experience at Ames Ford and Lincoln exceptional. I would highly recommend looking into buying a car from this dealership.

Couldn’t have asked for more in a first car.

This car has been an excellent first car in terms of safety, performance, and reliability. Decent power (255 HP, V6), tight steering, and not too bad on gas. Very comfortable. Premium leather seats, heated seats and heated steering wheel, Bosé premium sound system. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an extremely affordable, fun car.
I've had Hondas for 30 years and have dealt with dealerships for service in Houston, Kansas City & Des Moines. For four years I have used Smart Honda and I'm pleased with service & sales. The service managers strive to be fair and honest and have expert knowledge. The sales team goes beyond expectations as well. I've got a '16 Odyssey & a'01 with 250k miles. My '05 Odyssey just died with 280k miles.
