Matthews Ford of Norwich review
Planet credit at Matthews was wonderful to work with. From my salesman Jack who was knowledgeable, honest, and a really nice guy, to Scott from finance who helped me get approved even though I have less than perfect credit and even their service team is the best! I highly recommend going to Matthews for your next car! It really is a different buying experience. I never felt pressured or pushed, it was just a bunch of nice people helping me obtain a vehicle that I needed badly. I love my new car and when I had an issues they got me in right away to get it fixed and didn't charge me because of their 30 day lot warranty. I just can't say enough good about them! Go see Jack and Scott down at Matthews in Norwich for your next car, you won't be sorry!!
2021 Volkswagen Tiguan review
I really enjoy my 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan SEL! It's a great SUV with a perfect combination of comfort, style, practicality, and technology. The interior feels premium, the seats are comfortable, and the ride is smooth and quiet. It has plenty of space for passengers and cargo, making it perfect for daily driving and longer road trips. The SEL trim comes with great features, and the Tiguan handles very well for an SUV. Fuel economy is also reasonable, and the overall driving experience is enjoyable. Overall, the 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan SEL is a great choice for anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, and practical SUV. I would definitely recommend it!

Excellent place to do business, not pushy very professional. Nathan in the used vehicle section was very easy to work with and a straight up guy.
2020 Hyundai ELANTRA review
I recently bought a 2020 Elantra with very low miles (39k). It looks great, like new, and drives like a large sedan should. And the gas mileage is great! Driving around town yesterday it got 37 mpg in normal traffic, when the spec is 30. And on the freeway I was getting well over 57 mpg on a very slight, non-visible decline at 77 mph. It "feels" comfortable. My only knock so far is the information on the center console could be brighter and I haven't figured out how to make it yet. The owner's manual was not included in the sale.

2020 Kia Sportage review
First off I would like to say that I am a huge car enthusiast who has owned many different cars in my 60 plus years. My most recent cars have been a 2017 Honda Pilot, 2022 Honda CRV and 2023 Toyota Highlander. The Pilot was nice but the CVT transmission drove me nuts with the way it jerked and shifted. The 2022 CRV was also nice but the electronics and bluetooth connectivity were SOOO bad!! The FWD Highlander with new turbo engine was a huge disappointment. I felt unsafe on curvy two lane roads.....like it didn't feel like it was gripping the road properly. It also had terrible turbo lag that was highly frustrating and dangerous feeling. When I would push it hard to get it going, it would almost skid out once it got going. The wireless apple CarPlay was its best feature but generally speaking the electronics were a nightmare and required a subscription to work best. You had to push multiple things to get to your radio and it was all so poorly designed. I had been having severe buyer remorse with the Highlander and started looking again. I drove a RAV4 and it was too underpowered and buzzy for my liking. Also drove a new Mazda CX-50 but was having a hard time spending the dollars on another new car since I would be losing on the Highlander trade. Long story short, we purchased a 2019 Kia Sportage EX for my college aged daughter in 2021. It was affordable, had good reviews and a longer warranty than everything else. She has loved it!! Turns out we have not needed the warranty even one time in these past two years. Only simple oil changes and tire rotations. She's away this summer so my husband and I have been driving her car periodically. During these drives, I decided I like her car so much, that I traded my Highlander for a certified pre-owned 2020 Sportage SX Turbo! I am SOOO thrilled with my decision!! The build is heavy and solid, visibility is incredible and driving it is SO much FUN! Feels like you're driving a Mercedes or BMW but at an extremely affordable price. The controls are so simple that I've not consulted the manual more than a couple of times. Everything has its own button and, although the car is loaded to the brim with every option you can imagine, it's all so easy to navigate and use. Kia made a winner here and I hope they continue on this path of using quality materials and easy to navigate electronics. If so I will be a loyal Kia fan forever!!

Country Club Nissan review
I totaled by car in March of 2018. I had $4000 to put down on a new vehicle. I was looking at replacing my 2012 Ford Edge with a newer model, but what I wanted would have cost me $43,000. My rental had been a 2018 Nissan Rogue, and I LOVED it, so I knew that was an option. I went to Serafini in Binghamton and had a bad experience with one of the salesman, who basically told me that if my father co-signed for me, he would have to be there in person to sign the papers. Since he lives in Florida, that was an issue. So, I went to Country Club. I met with Bill Reeves, and it was an awesome experience. He overnighted the papers to my father that he needed to sign, and paid for return shipping. I got everything I wanted (panoramic sunroof, back up camera, etc) for $38,000, with a payment under $300. I love my Nissan Rogue! My husband is now looking into a Titan through Bill, my experience went so well. Y’all have a permanent customer with me and my family!

2023 Kia Forte review
Bought the vehicle new in October of 2023. Now it’s March of 2025. Have yet to have an issue🤞though have heard of common problems many have had. I’ve put roughly 20 k miles on the car in a year and a half (mostly interstate driving). Technology package is lovely and the vehicle has an overall stylish feel. It’s important to keep in mind, though, that you’re buying a 20k dollar vehicle from 2023. It’s plastics galore in there, so, though stylish, the material quality isn’t the best. If you’re someone who takes care of your things, you shouldn’t have an issue! Use the maintenance schedule found in the Owner’s manual and this vehicle should get you where you’re going for a reasonable amount of years. That being said, if you’re trying to decide between and LX[S] and GT (not including GT-Line), choose the GT. Though you’re paying a little extra, you get a standard transmission with real gears (the car has more power than you’d think too) rather than the CVT found in the LX[S] (and GT-line). CVT tech has greatly improved within recent years, but they’re still known to be problematic at times. All in all, this generation of Kia seems to be more reliable than most previous gens. Definitely a real deal competitor with the carolla/civic and worth the consideration!

2020 Chevrolet Trax review
We left a message and were contacted immediately, with the invitation to come out and test drive a couple vehicles we were interested in. The gentleman that took care of us had plenty great knowledge about the vehicle and also offered a 2 year warranty. The 2020 Chevy Trax we purchased was in great shape, and the associate made the sale quick and painless. I would completely recommend this dealership!

I wasn’t too sure about it when I bought it as some reviews I had seen weren’t very good, but certain years did/do have issues. I checked and the 2021 does not. But for being a compact SUV I was pleasantly surprised and absolutely love this little car.

2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
I've owned this for 6+ years. Only 18,300 miles. So, not what I expected when I bought it. I anticipated driving to many hot air balloon events across the country. But, then COVID and work from home. Now retired. No need to drive a lot. I've ensured that all maintenance is done as needed (maybe more often than needed). Other than a minor parking lot ding (not even a note apologizing), it's pristine. Side note: my dealership really wants this as a trade-in. But, I'm not seeing the advantage.

2021 Buick Encore GX review
I bought this used with 26,000 miles in the spring of 2024. I love the styling, interior, and value. My only complaint is that the angle of the infotainment display can make it difficult to see due to reflections, especially in bright sunlight. I love the AWD option, it adds to stability - even in dry conditions. The remote start is handy in cold weather since I now live in an apartment and no longer have a garage. Performance with the optional engine is more than adequate.

2024 Mitsubishi Mirage review
I downsized from a 2014 Subaru Forester I had for 10 years, purchasing a 2-year old Mirage SE with a whopping 4000 miles on it. It’s a beautiful tiny car, as loaded as can be, and averages 40 mpg. It works great in the city and on the highway and is a little cocoon of amenities. The visibility out the front window was a bit challenging to get used to due to the black box. And despite only being 5’4” I sit really high to the windscreen. Otherwise the interior fits me great — being aware this is not a car built for bigger people or those needing to haul more than 2 people and some groceries (although I do plan to take it camping), I love the styling and overall zippiness. It was priced very well for the model. This will be a long-term vehicle for me and I’m very pleased a month in.

While I didn't end up purchasing a vehicle due to a last minute deal, the operations manager Brandan Collins who was assisting me was informative, easy to work with, and super friendly. Overall Butler Auto was a great, even if brief, experience.
2024 Mazda Mazda3 review
Previously we have owned a 2016 Mazda Hatchback with the 2.0 liter engine and manual transmission. Our biggest complaint with that car was the lack of power. We were not expecting a performance car, but the 2 liter engine in that car was just anemic. My wife didn't feel safe trying to pull out into traffic. We recently purchased a 2024 Mazda 3 Premium with 2.5 liter engine and manual transmission. While still not feeling like a sports car (it is not one) it does have considerably more torque than the 2016 we owned previously. Things we like about the 2024 model: - the bump in power - fuel economy - the interior. the seats are somewhat firm, but comfy. The dash is nicely layed out - the buttons on the console are useful - heater/AC controls are buttons and knobs - easy to use - the heater fan! We have had several Mazdas, and the fan has always been underpowered. the fan in this car is adequate - two driver settings that will put the seat in the correct position, as well as let you set the brightness of the heads up display - seat heaters Things we don't like: - auto sensing wipers. the only way to use the intermittent wipers is with the 'auto' setting, and it operates properly only intermittently at best - the door for the gas filler. it is not difficult, but if you don't know how to do it, you may need to google (what I had to do at the gas station) - Fully electric parking brake - I would prefer a manually operated brake. - The pedal area is somewhat narrow. I have somewhat wide feet, so I have to keep that in mind, as some shoes make driving cumbersome. The reliability question was required, which is a rather lame requirement when one has owned a car for a month. I gave it 3 stars as I have no idea yet as to the reliability.

2016 Jeep Patriot review
Only get a stick shift transmission. The CVT and auto will not last. I bought mine new with the 2.0 and a 5 speed. It has over 200k miles and has not failed me yet. 3 sets of tires, 2 wheel bearings, front control arms, 1 throttle body, 2 sets of brakes, 2 sets of plugs and 1 belt. I still have the original clutch. The vehicle never got out of its own way but it just as reliable as the 1994 Cherokee it replaced. The interior has held up impeccably. Nothing falling apart , no tears in the seat. I weigh two hundred and fifty pounds. I am six foot two and I don't even have the seat all the way back. I live in the rust belt and it has held together. I will not buy a new car.I will buy one of these used from washington state or oregon.

2024 Mitsubishi Mirage review
It’s a simple, affordable, efficient car with higher end technology you wouldn’t expect in a car like this. Others have said the AC is terrible, but I haven’t experienced anything of the sort - quite the contrary. The AC cools the small cabin in just a few minutes even in 90+ degree Georgia summer heat. Maybe an older one that needs the AC serviced wouldn’t work as well, but nothing works like new unless you take care of it. As for everything else, it really is what it is. Its strong points are fuel efficiency, technology, and long term reliability. Weak points are exactly what you would expect for the trade off: not a sports car so it doesn’t take off like one, not an extremely comfortable ride, but what do you expect from an inexpensive car built to be light weight and good on mpg.

Butler Auto Sales, Inc. review
My wife and I knew instantly when Brooke Hayes came out to greet us that we were in good hands. She was engaging, and listened fully to what we were looking for. Through the entire process, Brooke was attentive to every detail, seeking our reactions and carrying on pleasant social exchanges, all without a hint of "salesman" attitude. Her flexibility was amazing: the day of closing, my wife had an appointment in a nearby city. It never occurred to us that she would be needed to sign paperwork. Brooke handled all this with grace, going ahead with what could be done, then staying engaged until my wife could return. All without the slightest impatience. She has continued to stay in contact, wanting to be certain all was well with our car, encouraging us to let her know of any needs or concerns.
2024 Toyota Corolla review
Mine is an American made LE. It was bought at a time when very few stripped-down models were available. Using Toyota's parts website, I paid about 1/3 the price for options like the bumper protector, door edge guards, door trim, mud guards and all weather mats. True, it's got cheap materials and Toyota skipped even putting an engine cover to quiet it up (although, in Southern California, the engine cover can retain heat that's not as beneficial as it would be in a place further north). Regularly reaches 37 MPG combined short trips and 20-mile commutes. Longer freeway drives easily goes over 42 MPG. One of the most surprising things about this car is the OEM tires. They are solid, they maintain their air pressure over many months, unlike my friends' who also have bought new Toyotas and half much less consistent tires. The car is regularly parked outside with sun exposure and the exterior seems to hold up okay after 2 years. I did do a break-in oil change at 500 miles and I do oil changes at 5,000 miles. I need this car to last me a long time and the Toyota recommended service intervals will not lead to longevity. There are many Toyota experts who encourage even shorter intervals between oil changes based on Southern California severe driving standards. Too much traffic is considered severe driving. Something else, if this car were bought 55 miles South, in Mexico, the grade of oil would be very different. In America, 0W-8 is the official oil viscosity. In Tijuana, Baja California, 0W-20 is recommended and 5W-30 is even acceptable further south... On Toyota's own documentation! For the summer oil, I have 0W-16 put in it. The car is near the ocean and never has been exposed to anything near freezing temperatures. My friend helps me maintain the car and he gets a lot of information from a Toyota Master diagnostic technician on YouTube, "A Car Care Nut." As a final note, the optical systems that are used for safety for Toyotas have a service memo stating that their safety systems are only guaranteed if windshield replacements are done with Toyota glass and the devices calibrated with Toyota software. In car insurance, you have to show this information to your insurance company for them to approve the OEM glass and Toyota body shop work. The windshield and calibration easily runs over $2,000. I have seen those windshield companies claim that they calibrate the safety system only for it not to work in a future accident. Be your own best advocate and insist on Toyota glass and calibration. By the way, we also looked at Honda, Nissan and Mitsubishi. The transmissions on the Nissan and the Mitsubishi are garbage, the Honda has so many systems to save fuel that negatively affect the engine, Toyota's reliability is often because they choose not to do risky fuel saving software settings.

2020 Jeep Renegade review
Owning my 2020 Jeep Renegade Limited has been an absolute joy. This SUV strikes the perfect balance between style, comfort, and capability. From the moment I got behind the wheel, I was impressed by its smooth ride, responsive handling, and surprisingly spacious interior. The premium features—like the leather-trimmed seats, intuitive Uconnect infotainment system, and advanced safety technology—make every drive comfortable and convenient. Whether I’m commuting in the city or taking a weekend getaway, the Renegade Limited handles it all with ease. What really stands out is its versatility. The 4x4 capability gives me confidence in any weather condition, and the fuel efficiency is great for an SUV of its size. Plus, the unique design turns heads wherever I go—Jeep really nailed the balance between rugged and modern. If you're looking for a compact SUV that delivers reliability, technology, and a sense of adventure, the 2020 Jeep Renegade Limited is a fantastic choice. I couldn’t be happier with mine!

2025 Chevrolet Malibu review
Out of all the cars that I have taken for a test drive. The 2025 Chevy Malibu is the best. It has style, it drives and handles well, and has some awesome features to go along with it. But more importantly it is a by name it is one of the most reliable vehicles you can buy and never go wrong.

2024 Kia Forte review
I do like my car, but the seats are not comfortable. I HATE the head rests. I don't understand why they have to be so pushed forward, causing pain in the neck and the back to slouch. I had to buy a cushion to keep my back and neck straight. I also don't like the curved seats. They make it difficult to easily and quickly get out of the car. The problem is worse now that I'm pregnant. The car itself is great, but we spend so much time in the seats, why can't they be made comfortable?

Butler Auto Sales, Inc. review
I purchased a 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander from Butler's back in 2018 for my growing family and it was a great car!! I just recently was able to trade in and upgrade for a beautiful 2021 GMC Acadia and Noah went above and beyond to help me find the right car. He was so patient, let me drive all the cars I had seen online (even stayed late to do so) just to be sure I was making the right choice, answered all my questions in stride, and also helped me weigh my pros and cons for each choice I had. Noah made the process effortless and I will HIGHLY recommend Noah, Todd, Tyler and the rest of team at Butler's to anyone needing to trade or find the right fit. Great people, excellent customer service and I'll be calling them before anyone else when I'm ready to trade again.
2024 Chevrolet Malibu review
liding into your 2024 Chevy Malibu feels like stepping into a space that finally matches your pace—smooth, confident, and grown. The first thing you notice is how quiet it is. The cabin wraps around you like it’s intentionally shutting out the noise of the world so you can breathe for a second. Once you hit the road, the Malibu doesn’t rush you. It glides. The steering feels light but controlled, and the acceleration is steady enough that you feel in command without ever needing to push. There’s a sense of ease—like the car is working with you, not against you. The tech is intuitive, too. Your music connects without a fight, the screen responds without lag, and everything is exactly where your hands expect it to be. It gives you that little spark of “okay, this is mine” every time you start it up. And the ride? Smooth. Predictable. Comfortable. Whether you’re cruising through Rancho or hopping on the freeway, the Malibu holds its own. It feels reliable in a way that lets your shoulders drop a little. It’s not just a new car—it’s a reset. A reminder that you deserve something that makes your day feel a little easier, a little calmer, and a lot more yours.

I have had this approximately 4 years now. and the only problem I have ever had is that it does not always recognize that I am in Park when I am shutting down the engine.

Bob Ruth Ford review
Dave G was awesome! This was our 5th vehicle we've purchased from Bob Ruth Ford. Always amazing service.
2005 Chrysler Crossfire review
I bought my Crossfire used (second owner) and am extremely happy with her. I first saw her online and knew immediately that THIS WAS MY CAR. I went to the dealership that advertised her, text drove, and without hesitation, purchased. She does leak a little tranny fluid and I have to put the top down manually but I don't mind a bit. She's gorgeous. And fast. And I love her to pieces!

Bob Ruth Ford review
From August 5th when I ordered my new 2027 Ford Explorer, until I picked up my new car on October 19th, I was kept well informed of the progress being made in the building of my car. On the day I picked it up, while sitting in the lobby area, every Bob Ruth employee who walked by greeted me and was very friendly. I am very happy with my new car. It is my 3rd Explorer, and I would highly recommend Bob Ruth Ford in Dillsburg to anyone!
