Used Porsche Macan for sale near Glen Raven, NC

Let me preface this review by saying that I have bought at least 25 high end cars in my life, so I am no stranger to the market. I should also tell you I am not one of those guys who writes a check for $350,000 to buy a Ferrari… I’m just a little guy. When it came time to finally buy my first Ferrari, I had a particular model in mind, of which there are typically fewer than 50 for sale at any one time in the country. I contacted Mark Euell at Foreign Cars Italia in Greensboro and asked him to let me know if he got one in. Mark treated me like a special customer from our first conversation. He told me that if I found one elsewhere he would check it out and he could get it for me and make sure everything was right. Now as I previously stated, I am not some rich collector… but Mark treated me like royalty. He skillfully steered me away from a choosing a car which we later found out was a bad deal. When we found the right car Mark got it to Foreign Cars Italia and he took care of everything….buying it from the other dealer, transportation, etc. When it arrived Mark and Corey Cooley (also a rock star) went over the car completely and made sure every last little thing on the car was perfect. Lee Stephens skillfully breezed me through Ferrari Financial services. These are good people who treat you with respect and professionalism. If they don’t have the car you are looking for, they will help you find and will help you get it. I would recommend them without reservation, in fact, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They put a carnival of a smile on my face, that’s for sure.

One of the most fun cars I have ever driven. The acceleration and handling are on another level than the X5M or X3M. It’s also practical and looks extremely sharp. Infotainment could be better - the PDK is lightening fast though. Exhaust tone is amazing. I can go on and on.

Driving where speed limits are not really important ,having owned 928 ,turbo,gt3,this car is perfect for everyday driving FAST! I like to compare to a nice pair of Italian shoes… Fyi 150 kmh is normal driving and not just in highways !

Love Love Love my 2021 Macan Turbo - It tracked almost as good as my 2019 Boxster GTS. (Within a couple seconds). Tech features are great - love the PCM (Radio Module - easy carplay and works well). Very comfortable suv smooth riding. Seems very reliable so far. 15k miles so far.

Great car. Has everything you can think of. Sad because it didn't come with a moon roof and no place to put my sunglasses at.

They answered every question and accommodated every request that I had to make sure I was completely comfortable with my purchase. Lee Stephens, who handled the paperwork and payment side of things, was also wonderful to deal with. He was friendly, responsive, knowledgeable, and sent the paperwork out right away, and made the purchase a breeze. Everyone I worked with at this dealership was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and a class act. Don't hesitate to buy from them even if you're out of their area. I will definitely return for future purchases, and I recommend Foreign Cars Italia to anyone who wants the best quality, from the car itself to the buying experience. Bought 2023 Macan T. I traded in my aging 911 for it. I did not buy another 911 because they have become too big and expensive. The Macan T is a fun car to drive if you are actively trying to drive it. The back seats are tight. The PCM is frequently confounding or crashes and won’t play any media unless you stop the car, turn it off then open the door close the door and restart it. The fit and finish is excellent. The upgraded seats are good. I can’t activate the around view monitor unless I put it into reverse. The dealer wants 300.00 to connect the my Porsche app on iPhone to the car. Porsche corporate is helpful and has normal humans that answer the phone. The PDK is fun and the exhaust has some fun subtle sounding pops. It’s like a refined hot hatch car but not really a great highway car. The base stereo is plenty good enough. Styling is top notch. Adaptive cruise works but needs supervision while using. The rear wiper appears cheap and flimsy. Should have been mounted from the top of the rear glass. The guages in the day are too dark not lit up and hard to see. The back up camera has poor resolution and has a strange perspective making it less useful. It’s a fun, clever designed expensive car with tech flaws that you have to overlook to enjoy the car. If you buy a slightly used one from a Porsche dealer you can get your warranty close to 6 years. Service is expensive probably to pay for giving you a loaner.

I have been working with Stuart Fennell for the past 6-7 years - lost track of how many cars have bought from him ?? I consider him more of a friend than my sales person- come by and bug him 2 to 4 times a week - nice human being!!

I absolutely love the way this car drives. You almost forget it is an SUV. Interior amenities and technology are lacking compared to comparable vehicles. There is a lack of good storage in the cabin. The options a pricy as in the Porsche tradition. You forget these things once you start driving. Since I got it, I figured a way out to make my commute an additional 5 miles each way. My purchase experience with Redwood City Porsche was a joy thanks to my sales associate Sam Pham. I always look forward to my next drive!

Recently purchased a Volvo XC40 R-Design from Charles Dabney, Sales Professional. Can’t tell you how PERFECT the deal was from beginning to end! Lee handled the financing effortlessly. All I had to do was sign - then grab the keys. Recently purchased the 2020 Macan GTS, so still in 'honeymoon' phase. That said, no issues to report. Pretty amazing how the vehicle can change personalities. Can be Dr. Jeckyl - smooth, quiet, refined touring car. Click a few buttons and its Mr. Hyde - growling, fast, quick steering tall hatchback that is ready for twisting roads or highway blast. Not encountered a vehicle that does this touring/sport change as well. Another standout for the 2020 is ability to go 'old school' buttons/analog - or modern digital interfaces. Like all the buttons, once you get to know them. Quick and less distraction from road. Rear seat is snug for anyone over 6 foot. Chose this over the Audi SQ5 - but it was a close contest. GTS wins on driving dynamics, but SQ5 is a wonderful luxury experience. Hard to resist the Porsche once you drive it. Does the luxury part pretty darn well too. Wow.

2nd one .. 1st was a 2016 "S" and it was wonderful through 75k miles with wonderful trade in vale.. Next is a 2020 Turbo, and it is a great improvement in performance, though we were never disappointed with the 'S'. Highly recommend to anyone as long as size works. A great mix of performance and SUV. If you can stand smaller, get the 911, and the cabriolet is our recommendation! recent service loaner was a Taycan 4S.... we were very, very impressed but I miss the sound and range!

I had the privilege of working with Alex Roth at Porsche Southpoint and it was an exceptional experience. I was looking to acquire the new 992.2 version of the 911, and there were no coupe allocations available. The tariff situation complicated things even more. This car meets all my needs from business Monday to casual Friday. It is true Porsche design and engineering. The Macan has a spacious backseat and plenty of cargo room for a run to the grocery store or weekend trip to the coast.

Buying a high end car out of state can be a somewhat unsettling proposition. But from the moment l spoke with my first contact, who would become my salesman Mr Roy Roth the process was seamless. He answered all my questions in a very patient and thoughtful manner. l would highly recommend him for anyone looking to buy a car from this dealership. l also had occasion to speak with Mr Edwin Kratzat a sales manager who helped to get me the price l was comfortable with. And finally the finance manager Colleen O'Leary who also helped in getting not only a price l could live with but also a rate that helped secure the deal. l highly recommend Southpoint Porsche if you are serious about owning a Porsche which can only be described as a work of art. Class is a word that would best describe them which is nice to find in today's world..

Quiet ride, better fuel economy than on window sticker. Center console controls are mind boggling. More storage nooks would be helpful. Owner's manual in 8 point type not very helpful.

Chris, the service manager and Kyle, the mechanic took very good care of my car and me. The car may be beginning to have electronic gremlins. Kyle narrowed it down to the front control module while they found no faults, was able to get the car running again. And Chris kept me updated with timely reports. I am appreciative of their efforts.

2018 Macan S CPO .. I’ve owned a lot of cars/trucks over the years, BMW’s, Mercedes, Hondas, Chevy’s, Ford’s, Buicks, etc. and so far this Macan S brings the biggest smile .. stupid fast .. minimal road noise .. fabulous interior .. Bose surround sound .. great information systems .. a well thought out and built SUV .. no disappointments so far ….
