2018 Porsche 911 review
After 911 turbos, and then having Cayman S's, I knew I wanted a 911 NA. A GT3 version seemed to fit the bill, but I could not find any to test drive. I bought a 2018 sight unseen and when it was delivered to my house, and drove it, is when I realized: you don't know until you know. There's a reason why Chris Harris can have any car he wants, and test drives all cars, and chooses a GT3 for himself. It is quick, not as fast as a turbo, but it screams like a banshee when getting up to 9k rpms. The experience is what sells this car. It is endearing and I will not let it go. No car ADD when it comes to the GT3. After years of ownership, it has not had a single issue. Definitely recommend.

2008 Porsche 911 review
Owned a corvette, a viper, the 911 and the boxster. I’d say the boxster s was a bit more fun to drive, and like both porsches equally for different reasons. Test drove BMWs on multiple occasions, never liked any of them. Test drove a couple of ferraris, a bit too small and expensive. Same for the NSX. Bought it 2 years old and got a great price. The targa 4s that I currently have, has some nice 911 features, including the large retractable roof, and the pop up rear window, for easy access to the back seat.

2006 Porsche 911 review
Owner of Porsche's since my first purchase new in 1970. 12 registered to me and another 20 or so I bought, drove on dealer plate when I was in used car business.M y 2006 997.1 Carrera 4 Cab with 30k on the odometer is one of the most dialed in cars I have driven. PASM along with the AWD helps keep this one glued to the road. The 4 is Wider than a 2 the S is not necessary. All season road runner. Top down warm weather, AWD for the rest. 😎

Buying a vehicle can be as stressful as it is exciting, but my experience at Porsche Austin was the exact opposite of stress inducing. From the moment I arrived (fairly close to closing time), with my 10 and 16-year-old daughters in tow, until well after we left, the entire team treated us with kindness, professionalism, and genuine respect. My salesman, Ozzy, was outstanding. He was so pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient; he never once made me feel pressured to buy the car I came to look at. He took the time to answer my questions and made sure I understood the features of my BMW X5 xDrive45e to the best of his ability (he works for Porsche not BMW, after all). He didn’t try to guilt me about any work or money Porsche Austin would need to put into my trade-in to make it sale ready. In fact, he had new tires put on the car I was buying when the ones that it came in with were still good (enough). He also continued to be available after the purchase when I had some follow-up questions. I thought that level of customer-first service had died during the passing of the last millennium. I’ve been buying/selling/trading cars for 38 years and I have never experienced this level of professionalism from a dealership. Not even the numerous BMW or Mercedes dealers I have dealt with over the years have displayed this genuine level of loyalty-building service. I also have to give a huge shout-out to Emma “Trouble” Bruce, who handled all of the paperwork. Anyone who has ever bought a car knows the finance office can sometimes be the least enjoyable part of the process, but Emma somehow made it fun! She was personable, efficient, hilarious, and had us laughing throughout the process while still making sure everything was explained clearly. She turned what is usually a tedious task into one we’ll actually remember fondly. The one detail that really stood out to me was the dealership’s culture. Even the new General Manager took time to stop and chat with my daughters - the oldest of whom is a big car enthusiast. It wasn’t a quick obligatory greeting in passing, but rather a genuine conversation that made them feel welcome and included. Those little moments speak volumes about the people leading an organization. My girls are STILL talking about it. I suspect there may be a future Porsche owner in my midst. Overall, what impressed me most is that the exceptional service didn’t end when the paperwork was signed. A few days after taking the car home I had a few questions and Ozzy remained responsive and helpful. He also promptly addressed another concern I had with the vehicle and offered to arrange for diagnostics and a loaner car without hesitation. Given that the car I bought was, A.) Not a Porsche, B). Not brand new, and, C). Not under a warranty, I had no expectations of any assistance whatsoever. Instead, I found a salesman who genuinely stood behind the sale and that gave me tremendous confidence that I had purchased from the right dealership. Porsche Austin proved that outstanding customer service isn’t just about selling cars—it’s about building relationships and taking care of people before, during, and after the sale. I didn’t just purchase a fantastic used BMW at an outstanding price, I drove home knowing I had found a new “family” in their dealership. One I can trust and will continue to seek out for future vehicle purchases. 2023 Porsche Macan review
Bought 2023 Macan T. I traded in my aging 911 for it. I did not buy another 911 because they have become too big and expensive. The Macan T is a fun car to drive if you are actively trying to drive it. The back seats are tight. The PCM is frequently confounding or crashes and won’t play any media unless you stop the car, turn it off then open the door close the door and restart it. The fit and finish is excellent. The upgraded seats are good. I can’t activate the around view monitor unless I put it into reverse. The dealer wants 300.00 to connect the my Porsche app on iPhone to the car. Porsche corporate is helpful and has normal humans that answer the phone. The PDK is fun and the exhaust has some fun subtle sounding pops. It’s like a refined hot hatch car but not really a great highway car. The base stereo is plenty good enough. Styling is top notch. Adaptive cruise works but needs supervision while using. The rear wiper appears cheap and flimsy. Should have been mounted from the top of the rear glass. The guages in the day are too dark not lit up and hard to see. The back up camera has poor resolution and has a strange perspective making it less useful. It’s a fun, clever designed expensive car with tech flaws that you have to overlook to enjoy the car. If you buy a slightly used one from a Porsche dealer you can get your warranty close to 6 years. Service is expensive probably to pay for giving you a loaner.

2018 Porsche Panamera review
I have a Panamera 4 and it is the best car I have ever owned. After 5 years it has never let me down- not even once- and besides the recall notices that were always handled during regularly scheduled visits nothing has needed attention. The fit and finish and styling are still totally on point after all this time. The car looks and drives exactly like it did when new despite 30,000 miles. Also, I have 21’ wheels and thought I would have to replace the tires by now. However, they are chunky and full of tread. I drove 1000 miles in one day last week averaging 77mph and 29.5mpg. Great performance and a long drive in one day. It was so nice on the road and my body despite the longest drive of my life! Fit and finish, quality of the components, and tech that is totally up to date after 5 years. Wow. Loved it! I also own a cayenne and a 2015 Mercedes S class. The Mercedes is not close to the quality unfortunately.

2006 Porsche Cayenne review
We bought a 2006 cayenne S in 2015 with 134K kilometres, paid 18K CAD at the time. my mechanic friend and i have changed serpentine belt, starter, valve cover seals, spark plugs, battery (its a big expensive one under the drivers seat), coil packs, AC motor, hatch struts, power steering and brake flush, complete fuel pump system replacement under back seats. (quote for that was 2600 we did it for about 1100). all outside and interior lights other than HID headlights changed to led, The coolant Reservoir cracked and had to replaced at a shop for about 900$. Replaced cracked engine mount arm. Professionally did tranny flush plus two leaking transmission wiring harnesses, (cost was 2100$ for that we paid at a bmw/porsche/audi shop), put a pioneer infotainment deck in it for 1300$ to get apple CarPlay etc (done ourselves add $1000 for labor on that) , We're about 9 grand in fixes 9 years in and are sitting at 194K KMS. We were at witts end for fixes but the Car has been running great since, obviously super fun to drive, wife loves it. Currently beating any monthly car payment but your always wondering what's going break next, and you got to be handy.

2011 Porsche Cayman review
2011 Cayman S, Carrera White w/ Black & Carbon Fiber Appointment, 3.4L Flat 6 Cyl, Sport Exhaust, 7 Spd PDK w/ Sport Chrono. My First Porsche. What can I say, I've driven performance and luxury cards, this car is the best I have ever driven. I am left smiling every single day I drive it. It is fast, aggressively styled, and drives like a go-cart that is connected to your brain. The feeling of control and road connectivity are nothing short of amazing. It seems to start turning the millisecond I think about the upcoming curve. It truly feels like an extension of your body at times. The PDK transmission is a thing of engineering beauty as well. In "Normal" mode, it feels like a daily driver, smooths low rev shifts, great gas mileage. Put it in "Sport" mode, and it becomes a road sensing and tight, more responsive throttle and shift points move up the rev scale. In Manual Shift and Sport mode the car feels moody and aggressive, like nothing under 4k RPM will do.. Move to Sport Plus, and it 2x as aggressive, too aggressive for the road, ready for a few timed laps at the track. The interior is very comfortable, the controls, although countless, are all within easy reach and clearly labeled. The appointment is great, mine has carbon fiber accessories, and fittings that give it a bit more of a performance look on the interior. The sport 12 way seats are comfortable and very adjustable given that the engine is 12" behind you. Vented and heated, which is nice. Material quality is good, some plastic and soft surface materials that show scuffs, but otherwise cleans up beautifully and is finely appointed. There is cabin noise, a little from the road and a little from the hum and occasional roar of the engine. Crank up the Bose Premium Sound System and you wont even notice it.. But, if you are like me, and like the road noise a little and *love* to hear my car. The Cayman S is like a growling dog that turns into a symphony as the revs go up, harmonics and all. I sometime don't want to listen to music. Storage is ample, but don't plan on a week vacation for 2. Golf clubs fit but are tight, and eat up much of the interior stowage. Overall, I can't say a bad thing about the car, it is fun and powerful, and provides a driving experience that I think is second to none. This relationship could last...
