I recently purchased a Porsche 911 from out of state, and I cannot speak highly enough of my Porsche Brand Ambassador, Elvin Flores, at Porsche River Oaks. I found a specific VIN on Porsche.com and called the dealership. Elvin was incredibly professional and respectful of my time. Instead of giving me the runaround, he promised to verify the car's exact availability and call me back in ten minutes—and he did exactly that. After I placed my deposit, he personally called to congratulate me on becoming a new Porsche owner. Because I was buying from California, the logistics were entirely new to me, but Elvin seamlessly guided me through the entire out-of-state purchasing process. I had a lot of questions, and he was exceptionally patient and knowledgeable, especially regarding the 911 platform. What truly sets Elvin apart, however, is his post-sale support. 2006 Porsche Cayman review
I bought a 2006 Cayman S three years ago. After I test drove it I was sold. I had been rear ended in my 2000 Toyota. After a few days the battery went out and my wife came to jump me off. Bought anew batter. A few weeks later fluid was leaking. I was pleased it was just the water pump. It seems people who buy this car and don’t use it have water pump problems. Eventually new brakes and a tune up. Runs like a jewel. I could not have fully appreciated this car at a younger age. Yes, it is an attention getter. I am quick to let people know it is a 2006 model. I think that keeps me grounded that I am not a helluva fellow because I own a Porsche. Oh yeah, eventually got new tires even after being told I could wait.
