Did 90% of my purchase negotiations with Austin Boyd before I drove the 300+ miles to the dealership. I have bought a couple of vehicles on the internet previously and both went smoothly but since I was not familiar with Walt Massey Chevrolet I didn't know what to expect. Everything Austin and his managers discussed with me was the same when I went in to sign the papers and pick up the car. Based on my experience, I would recommend this dealership and Austin Boyd if you are looking for a vehicle.

Walt Massey Chevrolet GMC Columbia review
From the moment I stepped into Walt Massey, I knew I was in for a unique car-buying experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and professional, striking a perfect balance between sophistication and comfort. The sales team, led by Trey Pittman, was outstanding. They were not only knowledgeable about their car lineup but also showed genuine interest in understanding my needs and preferences. Their patience and expertise helped me navigate through the options without feeling overwhelmed. One aspect that particularly impressed me was the dealership's commitment to transparency. Trey walked me through every detail of the purchasing process, from financing options to warranty information. There were no hidden fees or last-minute surprises, which I greatly appreciated. The test drive experience was another highlight. The vehicle I was interested in was in pristine condition, and the test drive route was thoughtfully chosen to allow me to fully experience the car's capabilities. After deciding on a vehicle, the finance department made the paperwork process smooth and hassle-free. They found a financing plan that worked with my budget, and their thorough explanation of terms and conditions was very reassuring. Even after the purchase, the dealership continued to impress. Their follow-up to ensure my satisfaction and their offer for a complimentary first service showed their dedication to customer care. In conclusion, my experience at Walt Massey was exceptional. Their team's professionalism, friendliness, and commitment to customer satisfaction have earned my trust and loyalty. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new vehicle.

I bought this truck from Herritage DJC in Brigham City a year ago and it is without a doubt the best truck I have ever owned. It is a beautiful black color and has everything you could ever ask for in a truck. And speaking of that big 6.4 Hemi engine, it’s without a doubt a real neck snapper. It pulls my ‘26 foot toy hauler trailer like it was nothing. I can recommend this truck for anything you might want to pull. See Bret Davis for a deal on your new Ram.

2023 RAM 2500 review
I have had other trucks “gas” and BMW’s ! With gas prices soaring and extremely expensive I traded in the gas for the New Turbo Diesel Cummins 6.7 ! On the highway this motor gets 20-21 miles per gallon with a range of 400-450 miles per fill up! Verified with my own eyes! This Ram 2500 gets better gas mileage than any vehicle I have ever owned ! A bit more expensive, but you’re going to make up for it in fuel! Extremely happy with this Truck! Feels powerful , sounds great, comfortable with a lot of options, cameras all around it so you can see everything surrounding you! I haven’t towed anything yet but what I have heard it even gets better with more weight behind it

Pine Belt Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM review
My husband purchased a new vehicle from McMullan Motors and he is very happy with the sales transaction and vehicle. The sales staff was very friendly, informative and he got the exact vehicle he wanted. The only issue we are having is that their service department, which he says is excellent btw, stays booked at least 2 weeks out. Living out of town from their dealership makes it very hard for him to schedule a service appointment that far ahead especially if there is an issue that requires immediate attention. Unfortunately I will have him take this into consideration during our next vehicle purchase, otherwise we highly recommend this dealership especially if you live in the Hattiesburg area.

We wound up taking our 22 ram 2500 cummins over Sonora Pass due to a computer routing error(no signs either). This was while hauling a 13,000lb. 5th wheel. Tranny got hot pulling up the east side but cooled right back down after 15 minute stop.. Brakes overheated coming down west side but able to get stopped and let them cool for 45 minutes. we made it using 4 low. do not recommend trying this but the truck performed amazingly.... wont buy another brand after this adventure. Sonora Pass is a 26% grade up and down btw

Power, beauty, and utility! Haul all week and drive to a cotillion on the weekend! I have received more compliments on this vehicle than any other I have owned, including a customized red and black striped ‘73 Mustang convertible and an ‘02 Z06. It can get up off the line or take me safely into work in a snow storm, all while looking great doing it. Only things it’s missing is a blower, a sun roof, and stereo amp. But then, if it had them, I’d never get out of it.

I have a 2022 2500 diesel Longhorn, that has had numerous problems with the DEF SOFTWARE. After 3 to 4 trips (50,000 miles) to the Dealership, they replaced the DEF tank and it seemed to fix the problem. I currently have 56,000+ miles with no further problems. Other than that I am extremely pleased with my 2500 Longhorn.

Walt Massey Chevrolet Hattiesburg review
My husband and I were in a rollover crash on Saturday in Hattiesburg and had no car to load all of our belongings from the totaled car. Mia greeted us as we walked in and brought water for us right away and offered snacks. She showed us the truck she had on the lot for us to see and went over all the high points. It had no low points. The price was very very good. Gifford and Austin were part of the team. Mia worked with us for several hours because our case was complicated. We were not in the state where we reside and so insurance and registration took a little more time. Through it all, we were comfortable. The dealership is very clean. We couldn’t be happier with the care and service we received. I would highly recommend this dealership.

I live a couple of counties away and having been a customer of McMullan Motors for over a decade I could not be more satisfied with the friendly atmosphere, courtesy and high quality of service that is always received. I had a very pleasurable experience when purchasing a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 and when in their dealership I always notice the McMullans and all the staff going out of their way to make sure every customer has a favorable experience. The professional service department is top drawer and very flexible in scheduling appointments which accommodate my schedule. When the need arises to purchase another vehicle I will not hesitate to contact McMullan Motors; some other dealerships I have visited should take notes from them.

Walt Massey Chevrolet HattiesburgReviews
Walt Massey Chevrolet Hattiesburg review
I truly cannot say enough good things about our experience with Walt Massey of Hattiesburg, especially Austin Bond and Gifford! We came in feeling pretty discouraged and honestly a little overwhelmed. We were upside down on our Jeep, and on top of that, it had become a constant source of stress with one problem after another. We felt stuck—continuing to put money into a vehicle that kept giving us trouble while owing more than it was worth. We really didn’t know what our options were or if there was even a realistic way out of the situation. From the very beginning, Austin was incredibly patient, honest, understanding, and genuinely interested in helping us figure out what would work best for us. We never felt pressured, rushed, or like we were simply another sale. One thing that especially stood out to us was how patient he was while we figured out what we actually wanted. We initially came in with one type of vehicle recommended to us, but ended up looking seriously at three completely different options. Not once did Austin try to push us toward one over the others or make us feel like there was a “right” choice he wanted us to make. Instead, he took the time to go through each vehicle with us, explain the different features and specifications, and honestly discuss the pros and cons of each one. He gave us the information we needed and then allowed US to decide what fit our needs best. That kind of honesty and no-pressure approach meant so much to us. In the end, they were able to help us get out from under the Jeep and into a BRAND-NEW Chevy Equinox that we absolutely love! Not only did we end up with a new vehicle, but we were also able to get several upgrades, additional warranties, and extra protection that gave us so much more peace of mind going forward. It is hard to explain the relief of walking in feeling trapped by a vehicle that had become such a financial and emotional headache and walking out in something brand new that we felt comfortable and confident in. Gifford was wonderful as well when it came time to finish the financial side and paperwork. He was patient, thorough, and took the time to explain everything to us. We never felt like papers were just being put in front of us to sign. We appreciated knowing what we were agreeing to, what was included, and what protections we had. What meant the most to us throughout the entire experience was simply the way we were treated. They understood that this wasn’t just about us wanting a new car. We needed help getting out of a situation that had become a real burden for us, and they treated that situation with patience and understanding rather than judgment or pressure. We walked into Walt Massey worried about what we were going to do and walked out with an enormous weight lifted off our shoulders—and a beautiful new Chevy Equinox! We are incredibly thankful to Austin, Gifford, and everyone at Walt Massey of Hattiesburg who helped make this possible. The patience, honesty, transparency, kindness, and genuine effort they showed us throughout the entire process is something we will not forget. Blake Davis made our purchase seamless. Best car buying experience I have ever had. Will definitely recommend and buy from them again. Thank you Blake!
2022 RAM 2500 review
This is my third Ram 2500 diesel. I have the Laramie level with the Level A group. The ride is very good for a truck especially a 3/4 ton, quite enough to have a normal conversation. I traded a 2023 Silverado LTZ for this Ram. There was no comparison in the solid closing feel and noise of the doors and the overall much better quality of the interior. The seats are comfortable for long trips. What can you say about the Cummins diesel that isn't already legend. It pulls like crazy, acceleration is good, my fuel mileage is 18.9 mpg with 80% suburban, 20% highway. I've had zero issues and don't expect any. Yes, I would buy another one without hesitation.

I purchased a used 2015 mustang GT. Great experience with this staff and good deals! Test drive 2 cars found the one I wanted and starting taking prices and they worked with me pretty well(surprisingly for a dealership) but overall it was a great dealership and I would recommend them to anyone!

If you are looking for a dealership where someone will actually LISTEN to your situation, give you honest information, let you consider your options without pressure, and genuinely work to help you find what is right for YOU, I cannot recommend Walt Massey of Hattiesburg enough. And absolutely ask for Austin Bond! Thank you all again for taking a situation that we were dreading and turning it into an experience we are genuinely grateful for. Extremely comfortable for a 6'4" 240 lb. driver, even after hours of driving. Lots of power...good economy for the hp (unless pulling a trailer)...like the upgraded big screen and navigation software on the Big Horn. Good ride for a HD 2500. Great turn radius.

Satisfied with device Department with finding problem and time to get my vehicle back to me.
2024 RAM 2500 review
I bought this truck used from the dealer. It was used as a rental and had 49,000 miles. The interior was like new. The exterior had normal wear as a truck would. The dealer did paint touch-ups for me, which was extremely nice of them. We had been working together for months to get me into the right truck. The first week I had it, I drove it a few hundred miles over the weekend to pick up my 30-ft travel trailer, and it pulled it home with no issues. Great power, everything worked as it should with no problems whatsoever. It is still working and running great. No matter what vehicle you buy, used or brand-new, it's not perfect. Sometimes you get lucky. I have had vehicles that are lemons, and one like my Ford Explorer Sport that ran great for over 20 years. Hopefully, this RAM will do the same.
