2025 RAM 1500 review
I have the 2025 Ram 3.6 Crew Cab. I paid $45,000 for it in 2024 August. I traded my 2018 Tundra in that I only had a for a year. Major difference in power is noticable right off the bat. This Ram takes off very strange at times. Sometimes it feels like it has the power other times it doesnt want to move. I have the e-torque 3.6. The 5.7 Tundra had the power but I got rid of it because no dealer would fix it because the Tundra was spewing gas out the tank. The Tundra would only hold 12 gallons at most with a 38 gallon tank but I later found out the ECM was replaced and if I had known that I wouldnt of purchased the Tundra. You are now getring much less for you money with any vehicle. Any half ton with a v8 will cost you around $65,000 at the lowest price. This was 1 ton vehicle pricing pre-covid. These Ram crew cabs with a v6 should not cost any more than $40,000 at most. Its a very slow truck and doesnt feel like 305 HP but 280 HP realistically. The truck is too heavy for a 3.6 so that means more engine strain. The longevity of the engine will be questionable. The Ram definitely gets decent gas mileage but going uphill in this Ram you can feel the engine having to hit high rpm just to up an incline. The ride is smooth no doubt about it but these crew cabs need at least a 4.0 or 4.3 v6 to really get the job done.

We traveled up from Fort Myers with two appointments to look at a used car for my daughter. The first appointment with another dealer was an absolute joke, but then we traveled an hour to Kendall — and what a difference! First impression: the atmosphere was bright, clean, and welcoming. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I was blessed to have the best associate, Yosniel Cruz, greet us. He immediately looked up the car we came to see and even showed us a few others slightly below and above our range, which I really appreciated for comparison. The test drive went great, and the rest of the process was effortless. There was absolutely no pressure, and we were able to get the number we wanted. In finance, Frank was professional, friendly, and efficient. I cannot speak highly enough of Yosniel Cruz. He even followed up afterward to make sure we got home safely and that everything was good. I’ll definitely be referring friends and family — it cwas absolutely worth the drive!
2022 RAM 2500 review
Power, beauty, and utility! Haul all week and drive to a cotillion on the weekend! I have received more compliments on this vehicle than any other I have owned, including a customized red and black striped ‘73 Mustang convertible and an ‘02 Z06. It can get up off the line or take me safely into work in a snow storm, all while looking great doing it. Only things it’s missing is a blower, a sun roof, and stereo amp. But then, if it had them, I’d never get out of it.

2016 RAM 2500 review
This has been the most wonderful truck. On the frwy when it shifted to the lower cylinder usage, it was so quiet and gas efficient. Johns Trim Shop topped off with a $2500 package. I hate to say goodbye but am retiring.

2017 RAM 1500 review
I purchased many different trucks over the years and landed recently on my new to me 2017 Ram Laramie 4x4. It does everything well and tows like a semi 5.7 Hemi with 3.92 rear gear and the 8-speed transmission.

2022 RAM 1500 review
Bought my 2022 RAM Limited in November of 2021. It currently has 15,450K miles so far. Had it into the shop 3 times for the back window leaking and open-close window not operating. U-connect issues is every time it updates OTA, some of the profile functions reset (like keeping the radio on after key-off). Nothing else were issues, and my mentality is every mechanical machine has quirks and if RAM only has this after 3 years, I can accept that better than having transmission/engine issues in this timeline. The ride is comfortable and having a good set of tires on it makes the ride so much better. I think any of the big three truck companies makes a great product, as I have had all of them plus a few imports. Keep up on the maintenance and it will be reliable for as long as you need it.

If you don't want to read all of the way through: Great sales department, everyone is wonderful, slow process, miscommunication is an issue but handled well, would highly recommend. I needed a new car after Hurricane Irma and I had inquired through internet sales, since I live about 3 and a half hours away, about a 2017 Dodge Journey. I received an automated response instantly to give Giovannah a call, so I did. She confirmed the car was still available and I said I could be there the next day to purchase it but that my husband could not be there; we were told it would be no problem and that we could make it work somehow to still have him be on the loan. I was told to ask for Giovannah when we arrived. I arrived the next morning a few minutes before opening and decided to walk around the lot. Ashley greeted us and we mentioned we were there for a specific vehicle and that we were told to ask for Giovannah. Ashley said it was no problem and that we would have to use a sales associate any ways as internet sales does not work the sales floor/lot. She went to get the keys and I saw that I had a voicemail from Alex at the dealership saying to ask for him when I arrive. I told Ashley since we were already there and she took care of it and made a deal with Alex. We felt bad, but we did not have any knowledge of who was really going to be helping us prior to our arrival. So we carried on with Ashley helping us. She showed us a Dodge Journey Crossroad (loved it!) and it was above my price range but she wanted to try to get us the deal on it. She tried as hard as she could before the sales manager came out, Rick I believe? And even he tried to make the numbers work with a longer loan term and such. That being said, we decided to go with the less expensive Journey SE and Rick helped us get a wonderful deal. Unfortunately, we were misinformed and we were told my husband would have to be present to have his name on the loan. When we made it to financing, they said they could do it in just my name but due to me being a first time car buyer, my interest rate would be higher, even with a great credit score. So we played around with the numbers and got it to where we were only $5 above my personal monthly payment cap and I was comfortable with that. Overall, everyone was absolutely lovely and I would highly recommend Dadeland DCJR for a vehicle purchase. The facility is very well kept and they have really great hours, even open on Sundays. My main gripes would be the misinformation about my husband having to be present and the process was very slow especially when we knew the exact car we were there for. 2016 RAM 1500 review
My mistake was not look under the vehicle, found some rust in the main frame, the air bag suspension were shot, had to replace them, DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY FROM DEALER OR ANYWHERE ELSE, it’s a pain to get the car fixed, warranty company does not want to pay, the dealer service dept in Miami lakes Auto mall suck, very unreliable, DO JOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

2013 RAM 1500 review
to: Campmeat from Arizona Someone told me my lifters were going bad because when I first started my truck I heard ticking noise until the engine got warm. I took my truck to a honest very hard to find mechanic and he told me I had a hole in my exhaust manifold. I paid $800 and 195,000 miles later still no ticking.

2019 RAM 1500 review
Oil cooler leaks bad when tempatures drop below 32 degrees. This happens on yhe 3.6 l engines. Lots of rams leak due to oil cooler being plastic having to replace it with s metal oil cooler..$1300 to repair at shop

2024 RAM 1500 review
The last Hemi powered Rams. I have owned a lot of trucks and my last 3 were all Ram 1500 Hemi powered. I liked the new Hurricane I6 turbo motor coming soon but also want my truck to sound like a truck. I am glad I got my 24 at the end of 2023 before I moved across the country to Texas. I have the Laramie trim level 4x4 and etorque engine. The start stop is so much smoother with the etorque system while I also enjoy that it is turned off when in tow mode. We have a Tritoon we pull behind that weights about 7,500lbs. Tows it just fine. A little more squat than I would like if I put extra supplies in the bed. However I am planning on getting airbags to assist. This is my first ram with the ram box and I love it! The dry storage is great for basic items and we use when grocery shopping every weekend. The entertainment system is good not great. Every now and then it messes us and I have to reset it. Gotta love technology but by pressing the volume and tune knob in at same time for 15 seconds it resets easily. Wireless CarPlay is great! The Harmon Kardon sound system is nice. I have a speaker rattle that the dealer is ordering a new speaker for replacement. I have had 2 recalls so far and 1 warranty visit at a local dealer. (Not the best experience) but new ownership of a large corporate owned store they just don’t seem to care. The locally owned store is now assisting me and while parts still take time it’s nice when they call you occasionally for an update vs never calling you back. My only gripe is the 23&24 ram Laramie trucks stoped. Coming with the painted fender flairs so it feels a bit naked and I got a door ding at a shopping center without that protection. (My older ram truck had it) anyway great power. Good highway fuel (20mpg not towing) I average 17mpg driving in this crazy dfw traffic. Towing it goes way down to 10-12 mpg. I averaged 11.5 driving from Ohio to Texas. Lots of tech and big interior. Looking for many years of enjoyment.

2022 RAM 1500 review
I bought mine used. It had about 40k miles on it. I got a steal of a deal price wise. That being said. It drives smooth. Has all the power i need to haul and tow for work and life. Also plenty of room for hauling around family. I have had no complaints. It’s everything i was looking for in a vehicle. Ironically it is not the color I normally would buy. But even my particular wife loves the color and looks combination. She drives it as much as I do. I can’t say the same about her car. But, i am not a huge car person. One final thing. I am thoroughly impressed with the fuel consumption. Would recommend this vehicle (the big horn edition) to anyone.

2023 RAM 1500 review
Bought a 2020 Ram 1500 Limited new and owned for 4 years. The starter went out twice under !00,000 miles so replaced 2 starters, had spark plug miss fire that had to get fixed, had exhaust manifold crack making the clicking sound upon startup, gas mileage got bad around 80,000 miles. I loved my truck but was stuck 2 where truck wouldn't start because the starter Ram uses is too small and not enough power for the start/stop and this size of engine. Also, heated seats are not hot at all. Coming from a F150 where the heated seats were incredibly hot which felt great, Ram not so much.

2023 RAM 2500 review
I have had other trucks “gas” and BMW’s ! With gas prices soaring and extremely expensive I traded in the gas for the New Turbo Diesel Cummins 6.7 ! On the highway this motor gets 20-21 miles per gallon with a range of 400-450 miles per fill up! Verified with my own eyes! This Ram 2500 gets better gas mileage than any vehicle I have ever owned ! A bit more expensive, but you’re going to make up for it in fuel! Extremely happy with this Truck! Feels powerful , sounds great, comfortable with a lot of options, cameras all around it so you can see everything surrounding you! I haven’t towed anything yet but what I have heard it even gets better with more weight behind it

2022 RAM 2500 review
We wound up taking our 22 ram 2500 cummins over Sonora Pass due to a computer routing error(no signs either). This was while hauling a 13,000lb. 5th wheel. Tranny got hot pulling up the east side but cooled right back down after 15 minute stop.. Brakes overheated coming down west side but able to get stopped and let them cool for 45 minutes. we made it using 4 low. do not recommend trying this but the truck performed amazingly.... wont buy another brand after this adventure. Sonora Pass is a 26% grade up and down btw
