I still drive mines, I got in 2013 and 10 years later she still drives very good. I only had to get a fuel pump 2x and replace some fuses. It has 26,000 now The best car I ever had.

Pushing 80 yrs old [young?] I find the L300 a very nice place to be driving from Az desert to the Ca coast...it also get pretty good MPG...Great air and power everything, like the sunroof too..1st car with leather, it felt more comfortable to sit on, seemed softer...over 84,000 now and all is well...can't complain even if it dies in the next 30 or 40 thousand miles...

we purchased the 02 L200, with 121,000 miles, this car has everything. Traction control, sunroof, driving lights, 4 wheel disc brakes, and spoiler. I might have paid too much. but my daughter really wanted to take it to college. knock on wood, no problems at all, runs and looks really good. this is our first Saturn. too bad they killed the brand!

I think that a lot of reviewers have under-rated this car. Saturn did modestly with new sales of the L-car, but it is a bonanza for guys like me who were in the market for a good used car value. The car is unfairly compared to Japanese imports which cost a lot more money. My Saturn is fast, handles well, and the leather seats and other appointments make it very comfortable and enjoyable. At $6,000 less expensive than a Japanese rival, it represented the best bang for my buck. The black paint and polished aluminum wheels on my car don't hurt matters, either. I would recommend one of these to anybody.

I'm from Pittsburgh PA. I wanted to buy a Dodge Dakota and did a Google search. There are not many 1999 Dodge Dakota's in my region that are still road worthy or worth the price that people are asking. I saw one come up at Instant Equity Auto on cars. com. Every single person i dealt with was excellent at answering any questions I had. I flew out and was there Black Friday 2024 they helped me with taking back my rental car, and off I went 2100 miles home with a used 1999 Dakota. Was I a little stressed? xxxx yes! But, the truck was cleaner then anything I've seen. And it didn't skip a beat! 80mph or 65mph, she just kept going! I was home by Monday and she is still going strong 💪. After I got back, I had some questions about the title and everything, again everyone was extremely helpful. As with any used car, I will say do your own research, anything can happen at any time. I would own a Saturn ahead of any other vehicle. It is reliable, good-looking, mostly rust and dent-proof, and easy to care for. Frequent oil changes are the key to longevity.

This car was purchased used with 100k miles as a winter vehicle. I ended up falling in love with it and kept it for about 3 years until a friend needed a car. Great performance with the v6, great handling - very European-feeling in handling and ergonomics especially. The letdown was the styling, and the lack of an obvious performance version. I put a set of Cobalt 17" wheels on mine - and had more people asking me "what is that?" than I could believe. Such a cool car - and a great value used these days - even if miles are higher...

This was supposed to be a temporary car, I bought it for a steal when my nice SUV suddenly quit on me. I've been so surprised how much I like it though. It handles well, is plenty perky picking up speed and maneuvering through traffic, never hesitates to start up, doesn't burn a lot of fuel, and has just been incredibly reliable overall. Great little car!
