Fountain City Motors review
We have now purchased two vehicles from Fountain city motors. We also referred a friend to them and they bought a vehicle from them. There are not enough good words to say about this company. From the minute you walk in the door, you are greeted and treated with the upmost respect and kindness. The reason that we purchased our second car from them a couple of days ago is because of our first experience with them about a year and a half ago, we were sold a car that was well worth what we paid for it and it's very mechanically sound. We went into the dealership, knowing exactly what we wanted and exactly how much we had to spend. Not once did they try to move us into another financial decision other than the one we had already made. They showed us cars that were in the in our price range of excellent quality and the mileage on them was amazing. I truly believe that these Cars are chosen with care in thinking about people they'll be selling them too. The salesman that we had experienced dealing With were Eric and Travis both we outstanding in listening to our needs. , Even if you don't live in the Harrisonville area, it is well worth the drive to see their inventory and work with these two gentlemen. I truly can't see myself ever buying a car from anybody else, but Fountain city motors.
2015 Toyota Corolla review
Owned a 16 Corolla S it is indeed an automobile it will get you around to places. With the exterior it's styling there is doors, windows, a hood and a decent trunk space, the motor is a 1.8 4-banger it make enough power gets 26 to 30mpg and supposedly needs mainteniance such as oil and spark plugs. Interior is good enough hard plastics that are fine audio system is good enough, the 6-Speed Manual is a letdown dreadfully boring no feel worse then a Subaru shifter better than the auto I reccomend this car it's the costo hotdog of cars.

2024 Honda Accord review
Got this car as part of a trade with my 2013 Chevy Malibu. It's not a bad car did have a few issues with the spark plugs that came out of nowhere. And they had to be replaced along with a few other issues but outside of that it's been a pretty reliable car that has gotten me from point a to point b. Everything works well the Bluetooth has worked wonders along with the seats being comfortable and it drives smooth.

2021 Honda Accord review
I traded in my 22 Accord with the 1.5T and CVT transmission. My 2021 has the 2.0T and 10 speed automatic. It’s a great car for the money, dollar for dollar, you cannot beat it! Fully Loaded, very strong motor and tranny, rides beautiful, handles everything beautifully!

2015 Volkswagen Passat review
I bought a lease turn-in and it had 31k miles. So far, this car is in mint condition and rides and drives like a dream with a 4 cylinder turbo engine and no problems so far. This is a great looking, very roomy German vehicle with style and passaze. I hope this car last for many years to come.

2015 Honda Accord review
Bought my 2015 Honda Accord LX used in 2018 with 42K on the odometer. It now has just over 100K and has for most of the past 7 years been a very good vehicle overall, requiring only manufacturer recommended routine maintenance. Within the past year, however, it has needed to have the starter replaced and repair work done on the air conditioning unit. The cost of those repairs totaled about $1,200. Not too bad for over 7 years of regular driving. I'm still really pleased with the performance of the vehicle. Handling, acceleration and braking are truly excellent. I'm most impressed by the gas mileage. On a recent 2,400 mile round-trip from Florida to Pennsylvania the car averaged just over 41 mpg. In local mixed driving it consistently gets between 35-37 mpg. Getting that type of gas mileage with the kind of performance it provides is hard to beat!

2012 Toyota Camry review
Bought my '12 Camry SE used at 100k. Its been an ideal commuter for me. Its now at 222k as of this morning. Here's what I have replaced: Brake Light Switch ($250 at dealer) Blower Motor (bought myself for $45, super easy to change) Spark plugs (preventative maintenance), $250 at dealer Toyota OEM water pump (preventative maintenance) about $1k at Toyota dealer Beyond this, two sets of tires. Brakes all around. Oil changes. I always do my own oil changes. The power door locks have never worked right. I live with it, no big deal I live in a safe area. It has the "dreaded" torque converter shudder around 40-50 mph. Hasn't gotten any better, but hasn't gotten any worse either. I live with it. The car runs fantastic. Idles smoother than my Cadillac Escalade, and cruises 80 mph with ease, and thats just with the 4 cylinder (mine has the 2AR-FE). Best vehicle I have ever owned, thats for sure. I plan to drive this until it doesn't make financial sense to fix something that breaks (which knock on wood, I don't see that happening for a long time). Love my Camry. Best car I have ever purchased. Period.

After dealing with several nauseating dealerships in Kansas City, we decided to head south to look at a vehicle at Max Motors. What a difference! The staff was very low pressure, professional and very friendly. They didn't waste our time with the normal games that Kansas City dealerships put you through, such as advertising $11k in rebates but once you look into it, you only qualify for $3k. I didn't even see the sharks (salespeople) circling around us the minute we drove on to the lot. What an amazing and refreshing difference! We HIGHLY recommend those who are fed up with poor service in Kansas City to give Max Motors a try.
2021 Dodge Charger review
Owned a Dodge Charger GT 2021 for 3 years now. Grey with the nice 245 tires. The care is BEAUTIFUL. I love the style and Dodge give you soo many options to customize it. I added a rear winder louver and some racing stripes. Its a car that looks super fast eventhough its on a V6. But who am I racing in my daily driver? The drive is nice, excellent 305 HP, and massive caliphers along with rotors gives you excellent stopping power. All is stock. This is a strong rear wheel drive. I see why many people like doing donuts in this car. its fun, but at $400 a tire, not me. The comfort could be better. Plenty of space, as a man who is 6'2 300, very spacious, but the seats are not comfortable for long distance trips, The stereo system is average, nothing to boom or even brag about. I do like all of the electronic features, such as checking your 0-60, sports control, and Mopar app. that keeps you updated on your car needs. The value, I think its a bit over priced. At the time it was $42K, but I traded a 2018 Challenger that knocked off $20k and then Dodge had a special that knocked another $3k off and with 0% financing using Chrysler Capital...it was a deal. I know without these perks I have settled for the SXT. A huge negative about this car, it depreciate badly. Only 3 years and the car lost almost half its value. I support over time, since Dodge stop making these cars in 2023...they may increase in value...but I doubt it. Ask Pontiac.

2010 Toyota Camry review
I bought this car used in 2023. It runs well. It is not the quickest car but it will always get the job done. I have the 2.5L 4 cylinder and it gets around 27 mpg on average. This car has never let me down and I plan on keeping it for a while. I would definitely recommend this car if you're looking for something that will last forever and get you from A to B.

2014 Honda Accord review
This is hands down the best car I have ever owned!! I've had it 11 years and my 2014 Honda Accord has never needed a repair. I have only ever had to do regular maintenance on it (battery, brake pads, tires, etc). What an incredible value at $22K!!! One feature that has been buggy is the infotainment/Bluetooth but I can live with it.

2008 Honda Accord review
I've owned this car for almost 5 years, bought it with 104k. Now it has 230k and still running good. Never owned a car with these many miles on it. All I've done is regular maintenance and 1 oxygen sensor.(Make sure you don't buy aftermarket, won't work well) Love my car, still holding up very well and I believe I could easily get 300k or more. Was planning on selling it but I might as well keep it until it dies.

2014 Honda Civic review
Reliability is what I look for in a car. The 2014 Civic lacks some of the electronics in modern cars but that is good. The more stuff in a car the more likely something will go wrong. I had no plans to get another car until an idiot totaled the car.

2005 Toyota Camry review
It is my wife's car. It has done 370,000km. Oil consumption of the 3 litre V6 between 5000km changes is minimal (can't see any change on dipstick). Transmission works smoothly. Ride comfortable. Handling precise. This Toyota model is a classic.

2009 Volkswagen CC review
Allow me to start out by saying I LOVE MY BABY (my 2009 VW cc)! I bought my CC in 2018 from a car lot. It has black exterior and black and light tan interior! She's a beautiful sight to see. I can't see why the previous owner got rid of it. I am the second owner and the Carfax checked out perfect. It drives like a new vehicle. Here's how everything took place. My daughter and I went shopping for me a vehicle. We looked and test droved many vehicles but nothing was catching my eyes neither was I feeling the vehicles. Well, we had decided that we were done looking for the day and we'll go looking again tomorrow. But as we were getting ready to leave my daughter saw this car hidden in the cut as if they were trying to hide it. My daughter loudly said mom, look at that car over there how do you like it? I said OMG, it looks beautiful from here. So we got closer to the vehicle and it was history from that point on. I felt in love with it. But I had to make sure there wasn't any major issues with the vehicle. I test drove I test drove and I test drove it, I inspected it, inspected it and inspected it (lol 😂). I never owned a foreign car before. Before we started test driving the vehicle I asked the salesman if he can put more gas in the vehicle because we're gonna go for a long test drive (I was always told that they keep a small amount of gas in the vehicle to prevent the customers from wanting to test drive longer). I asked him why was the car hidden away? He said that a man wanted to purchase it but he hasn't came to do so yet. While I was doing the paperwork on the vehicle the man and his wife showed up to purchase the vehicle. They had some words with each other and I remember the salesman telling him " I waited for you to show up even tried to hide the car so no one could see it but you never showed up at the time you said you would so I had to sell it". Now back to my story. My CC was and still ranks at a top 10 from the inside and outside. It had over 100,000 miles and it runs like a champ. I did the normal things to it like changed the oil, gave it a tune-up. I did have an issue with the carbon buildup of which when I took it to Volkswagen they said it would be a 3,000 job. I said are you crazy and the devil is a lie😂😂 I did some research on YouTube and discovered that I could put this stuff (I can't remember the name of the stuff I used) in the gas tank and the line to blow it out and it WORKED (cost a little over 10.00 dollars for a can). I had to replace a small hose leading to the radiator because it was brittle and it callapsed. I also had to replace the oil sensor which was a few dollars (VW said they would replace it for hundreds of dollars but I did it myself (very easy to do). I also had to have a bulb to one of the headlights replaced (I went on and let a shop do it for 40.00, VW said it would be over 100.00). Those are the only issues I've had with my beautiful CC. I get a lot of compliments from people all the time. People have even taken pictures of my CC. She's beautiful I tell you. People will often ask me, what kind of car is this I've never seen anything like it before, it is beautiful? When I tell them it's a 2009 they just cannot believe it. I have to admit, I ran across an amazing deal when I purchased my cc. I believe that the previous only used it to go on road trips alone because the back seats and the passenger seat looks like they've never been sat it at all. I keeps it very clean. When people opens the door to get in they say WOW this is a beautiful clean car on the inside and the outside. My CC is loaded with everything and I'm constantly learning more and more features about it. Yes I have the camera on the back. This is the best car I've ever own and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Oh, by the way she (NettyB my car) looks even more glamorous with her eyelashes. Yes you heard correctly, she wears eyelashes 😂😂.(eyelashes for cars). I will have to invest in getting some more tires in about another year. I love the fact that I don't have to pay to have my vehicle washed anymore because being a VW owner I get free carwash service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE 2009 VOLKSWAGEN CC TO EVERYONE!!! Make sure you get a good one. Oh, did I mentioned that I work on cars myself? That's why I was able to do a good drive testing and inspection of the vehicle and the work that needed to be done. 2015 Chrysler 200 review
PhilC: 2015 Chrysler 200 Lmt. (010924: 88657m) I love the car, hands down, a "true legend"...extremely reliable, rides nice and smooth, great wheelbase for NE winter season, have not had to put much expense-wise in to replacement parts since July 2017 purchse @ 48500m. Emissions Recall taken care of no cost at a DCJ dealership...top two fav. features are: the rounded dash near int. windshield and the OEM rims...genuine MOPAR, all the way! i wish for the resons given that they could have extended production by another year or two...three years was not long enough...Thank You so much 'FiatChrysler'...as well, Jeff Hammoud and Christian Farcas...an awesome car if there ever was...again, a "true legend"! Thank you to all involved...many more miles ahead with my 200 Lmt....

2025 Toyota Camry review
I absolutely love my 2025 Heavy Metal Camry SE! It had 15,000 miles on it when I got it. It has a very stylish exterior and interior. Mine has the sunroof, heated seats, heated steering wheel, etc. The upgrades are awesome! Ride quality is so smooth. Changes from the electric motor to the gas motor are hardly noticeable. Very quiet interior that keeps a lot of road noise out. Very easy to use touchscreen display. Has enough power for driving on the highway. If a person wants more power you can put it in sport mode. You’ll just get lower mpg’s. Now depending on how you drive it the mpg’s on this car are amazing! My average is about 46 mpg right now. I’ve gotten as high as 53.7 mpg. It’s so much fun trying to beat your best mpg per trip. Toyota did an amazing job building this car!

140,000 trouble free miles so far. Nothing more than scheduled maintenance. Drives great, acceleration very good with a 240 hp tubo. May get a new one when available.

2013 Ford Fusion review
I owned the 2013 Fusion SE with the 2.0 Liter Turbo engine for 10 years, and I loved it. It even had paddle shifters! It got me where I wanted to go, never left me stranded, even started right up in 6-degree weather on a trip last Dec. where it spent the night outside. Everything worked reliably - only replacements have been battery & tires. I kept it well-maintained and garaged when home, so that helps.
