2025 Hyundai SONATA review
I had a 2025 Limited hybrid as a loaner and was extremely impressed with it! Quite frankly if I didn’t love EVs so much I would be getting one. My spouse has a 2025 Lexus ES and there are just a few features it has that the Limited Sonata lacks, but the Sonata has a LOT of features the ES doesn’t have, and the price difference between them is a brand new Nissan Versa. It’s very quiet and even when you floor the accelerator it’s really not bad for a 4 cylinder. The ride is every bit as good as the ES, if anything better probably due to the fact that the rims are 2 inches smaller. The driver assistance features work so smoothly. Really the only thing I was disappointed with was it doesn’t have power folding mirrors and my 2019 Hyundai Ioniq does, so that was surprising but it’s kinda an unnecessary feature anyway but I like it cuz I know if the mirrors are folded the car is locked. Also I wasn’t getting the MPG on the window sticker. Granted I only had it for one day and 65 miles, 95% interstate driving 75, but it was a struggle to reach what it’s rated at for the city driving. I feel like the city and highway numbers should be reversed, because it definitely prefers city driving. I also had a 2025 SEL AWD as a loaner for my last service visit, and it was fine but honestly nothing stood out to me. It was like a random rental car, nothing good but nothing bad either.

2019 Ford Fusion review
A 2014 and 2019 Fusion I’ve had. Still driving the ‘19. ‘14 was that great red color, Se but back then you could load it ( came like that ), An SE model with leather, moonroof heated seats - same as top of line except no Sony radio. Had a 2008 Audi A6 - this Fusion reminded me so much of the Audi, when pulling away has this heavy feel, almost as quiet as A6. almost as smooth- interior - we know who took that. My 2019 has 109K on it - really only one problem, check engine light came on - Oxygen sensor - tires, brakes battery, I read somewhere that Ford stopped it because they didn’t really make any money, the SUV craze. Simple car no problem. First new car for me was 1985 Toyota Corolla - 13 years and 235,000 miles when the head gasket went.

2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class review
Dollar for dollar this is the best car that money can buy. A 3 year old MB Certified car with around 30,000 miles is the way to go. The price will be about 50% of original MSRP so you save about $50,000. I suggest 4 MATIC and AMG trim package. I 've owned other MB's, high end Jaguars, BMW's, Volvo's, VW's and several American cars, new and used. This is the best.

2014 Subaru Impreza WRX review
I absolutely love my 2013 WRX Hatchback. I got mine used at 80,000 miles and I've already put 13,000 miles on in less than 9 months. I RELIGIOUSLY let mine warm up before driving, I change oil every 3,500-4,000 miles, I CLEAN THE MAF SENSOR often (extremely easy), and I do not have any engine modifications done... This motor has been reliable through and through if you truly take care of it, just like any car... [I also suggest a good throttle-body cleaning, and I'm about to do my spark plugs soon too!] The cloth seat gets slightly uncomfortable if you're really moving your body around roughly, but 2.5 hour road trips don't bother me at all. The space on the hatchback model is legendary, it's ALMOST as good as my old 2009 Scion xB... Less headroom/height, but it is just as wide, and deep! The sound system is also mid-tier but that's easily fixable... Especially if you have a cat-back exhaust like me, then you'll never turn the radio on anyway LOL! My pops has a 930-WHP 6-speed Challenger Hellcat... So I can't necessarily call this car fast; But it is very quick for what it is regarding the price... It corners faster than the average person could ever handle, and off-road it is just as awesome as you would dream. [Coil-overs are a great upgrade for this car (or any car), in an effort to improve handling.] Of course, during some latter model years, all WRX's and STI's come with the wide-body... so the car just looks extremely beautiful in my opinion. I also put aftermarket LED headlights and taillights on mine to really seal off the look of the car! This was also my first manual car, which I really, really, REALLY love to drive... The shifter itself is a little 'clunky', but a Cobb aftermarket Short-Shifter+Bushings could easily fix that. The clutch has always felt perfect to me; Not too light, not too heavy... 2022 Hyundai ELANTRA review
Had a 2022 Elantra for 3 years only reason I got rid of it was the fact it was a lease and the 36000 miles was up and I did not need a 3rd vehicle. Used this car solely for road trips it had been to 28 states in total and never let me down. Car a bit low for bigger people like myself however very comfortable driving, got phenomenal gas mileage I could get from NH to VA on a single tank with gas to spare. Overall not a fan of Hyundai however I wouldn’t hesitate buying another Elantra. Only Con I ever had with this car was the fact it is so low to the ground it makes it a magnet for rocks to the windshield I did replace 3 while owning.

2011 Lexus ES 350 review
As a used car, if you can get one without breaking the bank then you got a great car. In general this is an ideal used vehicle for someone who wants 70's -80's full size car handling. Great gas mileage at 15 years it gets over 30mpg highway on 87 octane. To today's standards handling is lofty, brakes are not as strong as something newer. With that said if you do highway driving this car is great. 2026 standards however, plan on installing an aftermarket double din Android auto/Apple carplay head unit with a backup camera to bring the car to modern tech. If you plan on using the Bluetooth definitely upgrade the radio, what is built into the car is very outdated, remember this is a 15 year old car today. Only other drawback is the headlights, if you can upgrade them to led it will help but newer cars with built in led lights will always be much better. Interior has held up well but seat covers are now necessary to hide the aged leather. The exterior is very boring, it is definitely an under the radar look today. The cup holders however are in a terrible spot, when using cans the pressure arms inside will tend to push the can to a slight angle at times, not well thought out. The heated/cooled seat dials are also in a horrible location, not easy to look at to adjust while driving. There are a couple random issues that keep the exterior it 4 stars, there is a projector on each wheel well forward the rear wheels which has faded a different color, some oddity fit issues with the front/rear bumper also is present. Steel panels and doors line up perfectly however, it is most likely an issue with plastic aging.

2018 INFINITI Q50 review
Drives and handles very well on the road. The only surprise was during purchase. I expected it to have a Bose sound system like my G35 had, and the automatic front seat and steering column. On my G35 these two systems moved in unison and had memory for the position of the seat and steering column that could be set for two different drivers. The only other thing is the absence of a spare tire. Those run flat tires ride very hard and are not cost effective for owners.

2025 Tesla Model 3 review
I've driven the Model 3 for three years and overall would recommend especially for people who can charge at home. The fuel savings is significant. I like the size. It's roomy on the inside like a midsize car while still being fairly compact and easy to park. Visibility is excellent especially with the side view cameras that turn on automatically when signaling to change lanes. The not-so-good: getting in and out might be a challenge for those with mobility issues. While the car is quick, the handling feels sloppy when turning at higher speeds. Overall, this car has totally sold me on EVs. I don't want another gas car ever again, but I doubt I'd get another Tesla. There are other good EV options available now.

The very best non "luxury" full size 4 door. The usual Toyota top shelf fit & finish, styling & dependability. Best feature, for us, 27-36 long distance mpg in a roomy, roomy (Im 6'2") interior. Also Imao, sharper looks than its Lexus cousin.

2018 BMW M3 review
BMW's, specifically M series can sometimes get a bad rep for reliability and the markup in service cost if out of warranty. This couldn't be further from the truth...I've owned two f80 M3s and these things are extremely well-engineered and other than the random crankhub issues (typically caused by loose crankbolts from the factory or bad tunes that on-ramp torque too quickly) these cars are bullet-proof. I've put over 70,000 miles on this chassis and have had ZERO headaches, zero mechanical surprises and nothing but a xxxx eating grin from ear to ear each and every time I drive one. BMW did a knockout job mechanically and cosemetically with this generation F8X M3 and they've prooven to hold-up against the test of time. With petrol engines being phased out, this car is sure to continue to hold it's value!!!
