My wife and I recently purchased a Hyundai Ioniq 5, and I wanted to recognize Ryan and Sales Manager Sam for making the entire experience outstanding. Before purchasing, we had been researching EVs for quite some time. The Ioniq 5 was at the top of our list, but we weren’t ready to buy because we were in the middle of purchasing a home. Even though the dealership was a considerable drive from Point Loma to Poway, we chose to visit because of the dealership’s reputation and positive reviews. When we first met Ryan, we were upfront that we were interested in the vehicle but couldn’t make a purchase until after our home closed. Ryan completely understood our situation and never pressured us. Instead, he stayed in touch, followed up professionally, answered our questions, and even sent us a very reasonable offer while we were still deciding. Once we were finally ready to move forward, Ryan had everything prepared for us. We were able to test drive the vehicle again, review the details, and move through the process smoothly and efficiently. His patience, honesty, and customer-focused approach are exactly what every car buyer hopes to find. I also want to thank Sam, the sales manager, who was extremely helpful during the final purchase process. He worked hard to make sure we received every incentive and discount available and took the time to explain the numbers clearly. At no point did we feel pressured—only supported. Buying a home and a vehicle at nearly the same time can be stressful, but Ryan and Sam made the car-buying process easy, transparent, and enjoyable. The Ioniq 5 is an amazing vehicle, and the experience we had with this team made it even better. If you’re considering a Hyundai, I highly recommend asking for Ryan and working with Sam. 2020 Nissan Altima review
I’ve owned a lot of vehicles over the years, and this 2020 Altima SL truly stands out for its balance of comfort, technology, reliability, and value. The SL trim gives it a premium feel inside — heated seats, heated steering wheel, power driver seat, and a power moonroof make it comfortable year-round. The ride is smooth and quiet, and the 2.5 engine delivers excellent fuel economy while still having plenty of power for highway driving. What really makes this car special is the factory lighting package — illuminated Altima plates, ground lighting when the doors open, color-change floor lighting, and illuminated cup holders. At night, the car looks upscale and unique without being flashy. Safety features like front and rear radar, lane assist, and intelligent cruise control make long drives stress-free and modern. 2021 Subaru WRX STI review
I’ve owned for 3 years already, and being honest it’s a painful, wallet draining car. Such a blast to drive and own but will make you spend money if you abuse it too much. A good car for someone to change to spare on maintenance. Excellent car for a 4 cylinder turbo and very practical for someone like me (father of two with friends)

I have purchased my last two used cars from this dealership and I’m happy with how everything went. I was in and out in just a couple of hours both times. They provide a hassle-free, easy experience and get right down to business. Bottom line, I got a great deal on my trade-in, they gave me a lower interest rate than my trusted bank did, and they were not pushy in the least. Another huge plus is that the dealership seemed really scrupulous about safety protocols and keeping things clean among this Covid crisis. They wiped down the keys every time they handed them to me, they wore masks, and the Finance Manager had a glass screen in front of his desk. I felt safe there.
2015 Subaru WRX STI review
I gave only 4 stars on performance but 5 stars on everything else. The power output has been the same since 2004 using the same engine platform from day 1 and needed some more poines (I always thought they should have been 6 cylinders and turbcharged), reliability has always been pretty good for me with these cars but overall it gets a soild 5 stars. I've had 6 Subarus and all of them have been great cars.

2024 Kia Forte review
I bought my Forte LXS in Feb of 2024 and i've driven 9,000 miles on it so far. it's been great and i prefer this over a Corolla or a Camry. on the highway i sometimes get fuel economy in the low 50's mpg and on average i get around 37 mpg combined. not bad at all. i bought this for $21K after taxes and registration. the value can't be beat imo.

I drive eighty miles round trip to work. My Legacy is quiet, comfortable and the Eye Sight is great! I’m safe and secure knowing my Subaru has my back. I’d like better mpg but at 32 on average I guess I shouldn’t complain. Love my Subie!

2021 Mercedes-Benz A-Class review

Great fuel economy, averaging 55+ MPGs most of the time. Interior features are very nice for a vehicle in this price range. Some road noise at higher speeds, but not bad. Android Auto is very nice, but needs to be reconnected at times, which is easy to do.

2024 Subaru WRX review
This is my second WRX. My first (which I still have) is a 2002 Impreza WRX. I bought this car (2024) for long trips with the family and dog (cane corso). The foreseeable future does not see me daily driving it, tho I am sure it could handle it without any fuss. It has room for storage on trips and to the grocery store. Excellent platform for autocross, rally cross, track days, overlanding and as stated before long trips. This is a car that is hard to beat for its value and versatility.

"Me and my family purchased four vehicles from Auto City...." - brianwoodward57 Me and my family purchased four vehicles from Auto City. Each time, there is no nonsense, no pressure and no games. They are very helpful when choosing a car and getting financing. There is no price haggling because the prices are extremely fair...and I know how to verify the value of a vehicle. I recently purchased a 2019 Nissan Sentra with all the fixins'. I purchased the car for about $900 less than any other dealership I shopped. Plus, it was in great condition, except for some minor things one would expect a used car to have...but their service department fixed them very quickly and perfectly. My last car I purchased at Auto City was a 2011 Chrysler 200 which had 54000 miles. I am still driving that car in the family and it currently has 218,000 miles. My son bought a Toyota Matrix and drove Uber for 3 years, trading it in with 230,000 miles. Another car bought was a Chevrolet Malibu that was purchased and is driving great with no problems and well over 100,000 miles. All of the cars we purchased had no problem other than an alternator, battery and minor things like that when cars reached over 160,000 miles, and this is to be expected. We never had any major issues with any car, and no problem until many miles later after purchase. My most recent purchase at Auto City took in to consideration that I was self-employed this time. Isaac Duran, the finance manager, did everything in his power to get financing with a lower interest rate, and he did it. All I can say is that if you go anywhere else, you will pay more, put up with weird sales games and miss out on an easy, positive experience in buying a car. And, to boot, they will stand by your car for 6 months, 6,000 miles along side the dealer warranty (they have a huge auto service department to ensure the cars they sell are good). They have always backed us up and made buying a car a positive, easy, confident and a no-risk transaction. Anywhere else I went to check, I always got the "weird-ar" pegging out. Very good, honest people and great cars, with no worries! This is a very positive review, but there is truly nothing I can complain about after buying all of our family cars there for years. Talk to salesperson Mike or Alex...they are both very helpful, friendly and know what they are doing. The sales manager is great and ensures everything goes quick, smooth and I get a good deal.

2023 BMW M550 review
As a daily driver this car can’t be beat. Fun acceleration from the start or during mid range driving. Really comfortable and beautiful inside. Exterior is also nice but doesn’t really distinguish itself from other 5 series models. I traded in my 2019 Mercedes e63s for this car and as a daily driver the M 550 is much more comfortable and actually more fun to drive. The e63 had a minmal advantage in the steering and a definite wonderfulness in engine growl in sport plus mode but the bumpiness in the car was a real detraction that in retrospect would only be acceptable on a track. I bought a 2023 m 550i in our Florida home after I had read about and test drove it and loved it so much, that traded in the Mercedes as mentioned above for a second one in our Pennsylvania home.

2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class review
I love my 300C with the AMG Package. You get a much sportier look and drive. The car rides very comfortably in Comfort Plus but you can put it in Sports Plus and it becomes a whole different car. It feels like the car stiffens up and the Torque is immediately right there. Also, the AMG Package comes with great brakes! At this price point, you're going to hear a slight wind noise at higher speeds and the back seats don't have a lot of legroom. But, as an entry-level Mercedes, this is the best Mercedes for value in my opinion.

2023 Chevrolet Malibu review
We had the 2018 before this 2023 for 3years and it was amazing other than regular maintenance we put a battery in it that's it. Loved the car took us everywhere without fail very reliable. Has a mean punch with the 4-cylinder but it's the turbo Tranny makes it mean. It goes when you need to! Nice style looks classy and sporty. We got grey metallic paint it looks purple! We love this car too, a lot like our old one but new features for sure driving assistance features crash prevention, and new car deck bigger and better could use a lot more bass lol. But great sound without good bass. Malibu's are being discontinued so the wife and I will be looking at a impala next ride purchase as we fell hard for Chevy Period!
