2014 smart ForTwo Electric Drive review
We absolutely love our two Smart electrics. Virtually maintenance free, charge it up in the garage overnight. Bet we do 98% of our driving in them. Range is only 75 miles or so on a full charge, so that makes it tough for long trips, but around town they are perfect.

2015 smart ForTwo Electric Drive review
This 2015 smart fortwo electric drive, RWD coupe has opened my eyes to the world of no gasoline and no oil changes required. I love it! I’ve owned this body style on the 2013 smart fortwo from 2013-2016, with the ICE internal combustion engine. I’ve also owned a 2016, redesigned smart fortwo with ICE and manual transmission. The 2016 was also exciting to drive from North Port, FL to South Ogden, UT; from South Ogden, UT to North Las Vegas, NV; from North Las Vegas, NV to Tallahassee, FL and from Tallahassee, FL to North Port, FL in 8 days. This 2015 electric drive (ED) vehicle is more fun to drive than the 2013 Smart Fortwo was, IMO in my opinion. The drivetrain, electric battery adds weight to the small frame and provides a more stable driving experience on city roads and highways. I feel more secure in this ED than I did in the 2013 ICE. The front wheels are still closer together than the back wheels, which proved difficult to handle on the 2013 ICE. I don’t sway as much when larger vehicles pass me on highways in the 2015 ED. Semi trucks still sway my ED but it’s less. The leg space is the same as the 2013 model. It’s less than ideal for someone with long legs, such as myself. I ignored that fact when purchasing this ED when I saw the price, color combination: white panels with alien green tridion safety cell and front DRL daytime running lights. The green interior trim sealed the deal. I love this ED. I purchased it in April 2019. It was God’s Easter 2019 gift to me. I named him Eggster also called Eggsy. The range on a full charge has been listed as 70 miles on the odometer. I have traveled for 100 miles on one charge but I usually travel 90 miles per full charge with gradual acceleration and deceleration. I’ve used the paddle shifters + and -, on right and left respectively, to increase regenerative braking and increase off the line acceleration. There is a digital bar on the odometer display that shows how efficient the driving habits are. I like it when I’m closer to 100% on each trip. In the beginning, I confused that efficiency bar with my battery’s charge percentage. The battery percentage is displayed on the dash in one of the circular gauge clusters. One if for % SOC battery and the other is % power used during acceleration, for example. I don’t like that the driver’s seat is restricted from going as far back as the passenger’s seat; passenger seat folds flat! I believe I would be more comfortable if the driver’s seat had the additional inches of leg space the passenger seat has. I love the moon roof (tinted, non-openable glass) this ED offers. I can see the stars and the moon while driving or stopped at a red light.

LA City CarsReviews
LA City Cars review
I had a great experience at LA City Cars in Inglewood, thanks to Alejandro and Dion. Alejandro was an excellent salesman—very patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on helping me find the right car. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Dion, the manager, was equally impressive. He was professional, transparent, and made sure everything was handled efficiently. Together, they created a welcoming and trustworthy environment, which made a big difference in my car-buying experience. I truly appreciate their help and would highly recommend anyone looking for a good car and honest service to visit LA City Cars and ask for Alejandro and Dion.
2019 smart EQ ForTwo review
I have not had to buy gasoline to commute for the last five years. It is unfortunate that Smart has withdrawn from the North American car market. I have owned a 2013 Smart ED and currently have a 2017 Smart ForTwo ED Passion coupe and just picked up the 2019 Smart ForTwo EQ Prime Cabrio. These cars are fun to drive, perfect urban, and suburban commuter car. Long trips take some planning but are quite do able. Published EPA mileage is way below reality. I average 70+ Miles per charge. Best mileage achievement was 129 miles between charges.

McLaren PhiladelphiaReviews
McLaren Philadelphia review
I’ve bought and sold hundreds of cars, most being exotic, and all over the country. My experience with Kresstoph was among the most straightforward and pleasant. While most people don’t actually enjoy negotiating, Kress was a consummate professional the entire way through and kept it simple and pleasant. Although it took a couple days to get the deal done, he maintained great contact and worked with us to get it done. He’s also a man of his word. When he said he was going to do something, he made it happen. That’s rare in this business and should be commended. Thank you Kresstoph for an excellent long-distance deal. We will definitely be working with you again!

A good car to get in and out of work for a short distance. However, it is a pity that fast charging is not possible.

Super nice staff, gave more on my trade than anyone and was no nonsense. 5 Stars!
2018 smart ForTwo Electric Drive review
Bought the car because it fits in my RV. Its a cabriolet so tooling around with the top down electrically fun. High price but offset with $7500 credit from the government. Mercedes quality. Cons: More range....does not have enough range to make it to the dealer without trailering.

2015 smart ForTwo Electric Drive review
This is absolutely the most fun car I have ever owned! Reliable, sporty and surprising off the line Torque. It charges quickly and is a pleasure to drive in the city. If you are considering this as a highway car keep looking elsewhere.

2019 smart EQ ForTwo review
This is my third Smart electric. I leased a 2013 and a 2016 electric (if I bought either, I would have had to continue leasing the battery, which didn't make sense for me). I leased a 2019 electric and, since they've stopped selling the Smart in the US, I've decided to buy this one (which comes with the battery - yay!). I love the Smart for its utter cuteness and tininess. It has like a zero degree turning radius, and I'm able to zip in and out of anywhere. It's perfect for my needs, as I tend to do mostly local driving, and I occasionally take it on the freeway if the drive isn't too long. With regenerative braking, I usually get at least 80 miles with each full charge. The only issues I've had with this car are (1) when I first picked it up, it died on me within the first week, and it took the dealer 28 days to reboot and fix everything, and (2) the cup holders aren't adjustable, so my big water bottle doesn't fit (my other Smarts had adjustable holders, so why did they change this?). After driving Smarts for 9 years, I can't really drive other cars -- they all seem so huge and cumbersome. But for longer drives, I do borrow my husband's EV, which has a longer range. I did consider at some point getting a Fiat electric and test-drove one, but it just wasn't as cute as the Smart. Its adorableness makes me happy every time I come out of a building and see it waiting for me. Even after driving it for 3 years, its cuteness still sometimes takes me by surprise!

Auto Source review
I had a great experience at Auto Source in Banning, CA. The staff was friendly, honest, and never pushy. They took the time to answer all my questions and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The selection of vehicles was solid and fairly priced, and I felt confident in my purchase. If you’re looking for a reliable dealership with great customer service, I definitely recommend Auto Source.
2018 smart ForTwo Electric Drive review
This is my 4th Electric Car. It has limitations (no fast charging), but it also is fun to drive and has a lot of storage places inside...seriously. I used to have a LEAF and still have a BMW I3, Tesla Model X and this in the garage. The ED is my go to for quick around town drives. Yes it takes 3 hours to charge if empty...but I knew that going in...and have never come home empty in any of the EVs.
