Both my husband and I agreed that this was the most smooth and pleasant car buying experience we’ve ever had. Kind, welcoming, trusting, trustworthy, friendly. No pressure. Just there to help you purchase a car you like. From Madeline who manages online interactions, to Mike our salesperson, to Jonathan our finance manager- everyone was top notch humanity. Thank you for making it an easeful and positive experience. I love my car!

Portsmouth Used Car Center review
I wanted to take this time to thank David Bettinger my sales consultant @ Portsmouth Ford Used Car Center. From the first encounter Dave was friendly and professionally. I had done my own research on the car I was looking for and he did a great job listening and showing me exactly what I had asked for. I liked that it was easy and stress free and there was no back and forth. I had not purchased a car on my own and I appreciated the input he provided but also allowed me to make this decision without any pressure. This was a great experience and I am thankful to have such a nice person help me out. Thank you Dave you were the best. Michele McElreath

I was in today for tires, oil change, reflash transmission. Always a pleasure to visit Ira Subaru. The service writer Ryan McCartney took care of all issues and is always a pleasure to deal with. Service Adviser Chelsea Newell took care of ordering tires ahead of time so all work completed today. The shop performed all work expertly with all work completed in a timely manor. The service tech looked over the whole car and advised me of service work in the next year or so to keep an eye on. Thank you again for all your help and expert advise. RW

So Beyond Pleased with my car buying experience! Shopped around 3 different states - Maine - Mass - N.H. - for the best price from dealers, and Marc Motors Nissan had by far the most friendly staff and comfortable show room - as soon as you walk in it's a whole different feel. First of all, the showroom is spotless! Such clean presentation, I felt so important. The sales team was so warm and inviting, and the "BDC" Team really helped make everything easy as soon as I walked in the door - I said my name and who I spoke with and It was smooth Sailing from there! Even the Sales Managers were fun and nice, as well as the finance manager. From start to finish everything was beyond expectation.

I worked with Melissa Thompson at McGovern and she was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, upfront and honest. I dread car shopping but she and her manager Tim Hall made it a great experience. David in service was amazing. He was very professional even though we came in on the wrong date for our service. He got us right in and and was so very courteous.
2024 Subaru Forester review
Next to top rating in Consumer Reports. Lives up to its rating 100%. Only concerns thus far, after three weeks of use. 1) takes time to learn use of various electrical and mechanical controls -- after 20+plus years of VW Jetta ownership, "a lot is different." Just have to be patient learning all the new features. 2) Auto-safety features (staying in lanes, braking distance warning, etc.) are helpful to some less-attentive drivers but annoying to this long-experienced user. Fortunately, they can be turned off and stop the chirping.

2024 Subaru Forester review
I’ve owned this car for about 18 months. It has I bought it new and it now has about 17,000 miles on it. I love driving it. The safety features are excellent! The performance is good. I’m getting around 32 MPG for all around driving. I have the car maintained at the dealership and haven’t had any mechanical issues. I would definitely recommend this car.

2024 Subaru Forester review
the forester sport is very reliable get 26 mpg on most of my daily commutes. Drives great in the winter (even though I have the same tires they came with). Traveling in it on road trips are great, 31 mpg using the cruise control and lane assist. It's not a very fast SUV but it honestly worth it. I tend to speed, but it's not something that actually bothers me. I was worried it would be too sluggish. I picked the forester for my road trips, and extra stuff I drive with.

Belknap Subaru review
We have been dealing with Belknap Subaru for over 6 years. Eric and Mark have been kind, considerate and courteous as well as helpful in our decision to lease different vehicles. This is our third lease and again they both have been there for us. It is a pleasure to find an auto dealership that is so helpful and answers all of our questions with knowledge. We would recommend them highly to anyone.
