My car blew a rod approximately a week ago, so I needed a new car ASAP. I spent 5-6 hours perusing various car lots to no avail. I was exhausted, to say the least. Finally decided to drive to Deep Park because of their tremendous selection of cars. Met Marcus and I could tell right away that he wasn't interested in selling me something that I just "kindof" liked-to make a deal and a quick buck. He was very patient, letting me test drive a couple of cars, even one car numerous times. I decided on a Mazda, purchased it and drove home. When I got home, I quickly realized that I made the wrong decision, and I wanted another car I was looking at on the lot- a Volkswagen Eos. Marcus and his team allowed me to return the Mazda and trade it for the Volkswagen- no problem!!! If you are looking for a dealership that's only goal is to make the customer truly happy, you found it!
Superior for low back & mobility issues.

This car met our family needs. Gas mileage is very good for commuting and very supportive for passenger comfort. Wide doors for easy entry for physically impaired passengers, and loads of leg room. Although better than most, the thickness of the descending support for the right arm rest puts uncomfortable pressure on lateral knee bone. Must adjust seat to partially avoid.
The experience start to finish at Automotive Specialties was awesome!! Their website was super helpful, showed us exactly what we were looking for. And then when we came in their salesman were also super friendly and helpful, showed us exactly what we were looking for, and didn't waist time on things that were out of out budget or not what we wanted, and the process from searching the lot, to test driving, to driving away with our new car was comfortable, smooth, and easy! Would definitely go back, and would definitely recommend to a friend!
Good value for the money I paid, rides nice.

I feel comfortable and safe in the car, great visibility. The car handles extremely well in the snow, probably improve even more when I get snow tires. I like the exterior styling and open visibility, all around.
Best buying experience I have had. No pressure. Very friendly, everyone. Very helpful and informative. Would recommend this dealer to anyone I know. Will definitely return to this dealership when looking for another vehicle.

Bearing design problems.

We’ve own a 2003 and 2013 Foresters and both of them had extensive wheel bearing problems at around 40-60,000 miles, costing $1500 ea. Came to learn from a Subaru auto mechanic that Subarus have a design problem with bearing seals. We will not ownanother one in the future.
Excellent communication between all of the staff. We had 3 different sales guys but that was okay because the "didn't skip a beat". Each person knew where we had left off with the previous sales associate. This was a very positive and thankfully professional experience! We love the car!
Thank you Subaru of Spokane #53!!!

This was a pre-owned vehicle used lightly as a loaner. It looks, runs and even smells like new. And we paid a great price, no BS

This car provides one of the best safety feature, eyesight. Driving with it always provides me with the most confidence. The AWD comes with standard configuration of this car also make your icy driving safer.
Our purchase went very smoothly. Our salesman was very knowledgeable and explained all of the car details to us. It was a joy working with him.
Great car; excellent visability

This car is great for mountain roads and highway driving. Eyesight was a selling point when I purchased and recommend buying Starlink every year. Having that connection when something has happened is worth every cent. What sold me along with Eyesight was the visibility of the Forester and the interior room. I tested a CRV and the Forester and the Sub won hands down.
The buying experience was fairly painless, minus the waiting. There was zero haggling over price and our salesperson made the paperwork part of the process a breeze by letting us pay and come back to fill out paperwork after it was drawn up. Easiest car buy experience I have ever had!!!!
Best car I’ve ever had and I have had four Subaru’

I love it! And have since I bought it a year ago. I loved my other three prior Subaru’s, but this one is overall my favorite because of all the room.
Purchased new Outback Touring about a week ago and so far, so good. Salesman Steve Blue was great and very helpful. He has assisted us previously with Subaru purchases at the Spokane dealership and I would highly recommend his services to our friends.

I love my 2018 Forester. I’m only 5’ and the seats are very comfortable. Don’t really like the Navigation - can’t seem to make it work. I have 2 friends who also have a Forester, all of ours are green. Only thing negative is the rear windshield wiper. When I go through the car wash, the portion that doesn’t move, pops off. I’ve lost one and now I have to put painters tape over it to keep it in place.
I walked in to Subaru of Spokane and was greeted by Steven Blue. He answered all my questions and did not pressure the sale of a car. Mr. Blue what???s the reason I bought my Subaru from Spokane Subaru. When I buy my WRX I will be looking for Mr. Blue.
Very Reliable Vehicle.....but ?
December 21, 2018
Example: The gps/map system is not intuitive to easily upgrade maps! Subaru seems unable to inform customers when new maps are available? Using the Subaru app Subaru Toolbox Gen2 is not very user friendly.....a poorly created app period! Connecting to your personal devices through STARLINK is a waste of time and unreliable. Why Subaru uses this poorly designed software and not Apple Car Play, used by most other car manufacturers, is questionable! It would be truly nice to be able to link my IPhone to the Gen2 headunit display but.....no way? Seems the electronics of this car is for Android devices primarily and not Apple friendly!
We just had one of the BEST car buying experiences ever! We bought a 2017 Nissan Rogue from Dale Burghart and we couldn't be happier. Dale was very friendly and knowledgeable. What a breath of fresh air for a car dealership to have a salesman that thinks of the customer and their needs first! We didn't feel pressured at all to buy something that we didn't like or need. Once again, thank you again Dale for such a great buying experience.
Good All-Purpose Car

Full disclosure: My girlfriend owns it, but I drive it a lot. I find the 2017 Forester to be a pretty decent small SUV. I find it comfortable and fairly well-designed. I'm not a huge fan of CVTs but find it has enough pep when I need it. The dash is fairly well-organized and all critical controls are knobs and buttons rather than buried in the touch screen like some cars. A few things could be slightly better organized but these are minor details. The Subaru infotainment system is pretty lacking and the touch screen is buggy sometimes. They're behind the curve on this. But overall it's a decent car even if I'd like it more with a 6 speed manual.
This SUV is a great vehicle for the money, and is extremely comfortable on long road trips. It has a smooth ride with ample power for around town use. I would have preferred an analog fuel gauge instead of the digital one.
The Forester is exactly what we were looking for. Reasonably priced, very comfortable, efficient for its size, smooth driving, excellent performing. Upright seating fits a wide range of sizes and is great for tall drivers. Excellent rear seat space. Very, very, good cargo space access. The interior is well laid out. Controls are easy to reach and easy to understand. One more thing, the climate control system is fully up to handling Phoenix summer weather.
Great! Everyone was very polite and knowledgeable. This is the second Subaru we have purchased from them.
Solid 4-wheel drive SUV
by tah9 from Erie PA
January 29, 2019
Positive: Very solid 4-wheel drive medium-size SUV. Great interior, wonderful visibility through large windows for safe turning, changing lanes and backing up. Handy rear video backup camera. Good traction for winters, even without snow tires. Eyesight package is a comforting feature, even for short local highway drives, since it helps keep you in pace with traffic without going over your set limit. Heated front seats are sweet.
Negative: Rubber pad on back bumper (part of winter package) seems to come unglued (body shops have reattached it twice). Plastic cowls (about 8" long) next to wipers on left and right sides of windshield rattle in the wind. Lacks low-oil indicator on dash display, so only way to know is to manually check oil level.
I appreciate the friendliness and explanation of what maintenance service was done. Always excellent service!
Love my Subaru

Feel safe! Had a rollover in a 2012 Forester, the other driver fell sleep. Because I am alive, the insurance adjuster said he has never seen anyone survive such an accident, I bought myself another one, a 2016. The only complaint is the Yokahama Geolander tires. I only have 24,000 miles on them but they are worn. Never seen such a thing. Will be replacing them in a few days before inspection. Other reviews say the same, they are the low quality eventhough they are expensive. In my family we own several Subaru's.
Sally is the BEST!! She is considerate to her customers' time and concerns, while still communicating effortlessly with everyone she interacts with. She made my entire purchasing experience wonderful!!

We needed a car with plenty of interior space to fit our dogs and camping gear, and wanted to be sure we would be ok in all kinds of terrain. The new forester sport checked all of the boxes. Comfy, gets us everywhere, and has all the features we need plus some we realized are nice.
The only thing we miss is a manual transmission. Come on America....
