2021 Subaru WRX STI review
I’ve owned for 3 years already, and being honest it’s a painful, wallet draining car. Such a blast to drive and own but will make you spend money if you abuse it too much. A good car for someone to change to spare on maintenance. Excellent car for a 4 cylinder turbo and very practical for someone like me (father of two with friends)

2024 Subaru Forester review
the forester sport is very reliable get 26 mpg on most of my daily commutes. Drives great in the winter (even though I have the same tires they came with). Traveling in it on road trips are great, 31 mpg using the cruise control and lane assist. It's not a very fast SUV but it honestly worth it. I tend to speed, but it's not something that actually bothers me. I was worried it would be too sluggish. I picked the forester for my road trips, and extra stuff I drive with.

After seeing an advertisement on Facebook for a 2024 Ford Edge Titanium SUV, I stopped by the dealership and Orhun Varol was the salesman who helped me. From the Test Drive to the negotiating selling my current car to Nielsen Ford, Mr. Varol kept things going smoothly. He took the time to answer all my questions. 2023 Subaru Ascent review
This is my 4th Subaru and my 2nd Ascent. Overall it is a superb vehicle with minor issues in my view. The Driver Monitoring function is basically annoying. Either it disables itself or doesn’t alert at all (I’m always wearing sunglasses). The infotainment screen, at boot up, is agonizingly slow with some improvement after a couple of minutes. I assume that it is a processor issue. The front camera switch is in an awkward position (on the center console). It should be on the steering wheel or an icon on the screen. Acceleration is very good, brakes and steering as well. It is very quiet. Visibility is outstanding. All of the safety features are major pluses. Seats are very comfortable.

2015 Subaru Forester review
Bought my 2015 Subaru 2.0XT Touring brand spanking new off the Subaru dealership's lot. Have owned it all this time about 9 years straight. Take care of your car with regular oil changes, servicing at recommended intervals, and your car will take care of you. Performed the required recalls during service periods. Not 1 single regret on owning this car, ever. It rides smooth and true. Had a clicking issue in the ball joints 2 years ago which Subaru fixed free of charge. Other than that, this car has been my dream machine.

2023 Subaru Forester review
LOVE this car, maybe a little biased since this is my 5th Forester, my 2nd Wilderness. My first Wilderness was totaled in a head-on collision when a young driver spilled coffee and veered into my lane and struck me head-on. That was my 1st Subaru Forester Wilderness and IT SAVED MY LIFE. Full curtain all-around airbag deployment with a roll, the Wilderness coming to rest on it's right side, me still strapped into seatbelt, and the Subaru automatic crash notification with a live person on the speakers asking me if I was ok and needed 911! Smoke still coming from the airbag deployments, and there is a live person coming over the speakers asking me if I'm ok. It was surreal. SUBARU FORESTER WILDERNESS SAVED MY LIFE! TYVM Subaru! LOVE this car! Gets 25+ MPG with conservative driving, a great ride and suspension, superior traction in mud and snow, load-out practically anything/rack bikes (or whatever on the roof racks), sleep in the back with ample room, superior rear-gate lift mechanism with memory, seats super-comfortable and easily adjustable, solid rear-seat leg-room, easy rear-seat fold-downs for massive cargo area that takes my full HVAC tool load-out for servicing ice baths all over the NorthEast US. A great value, especially CPO with +10K mileage (vs. new) MONEY WELL SPENT! SUBARU FOR LIFE

2024 Subaru Forester review
I’ve owned this car for about 18 months. It has I bought it new and it now has about 17,000 miles on it. I love driving it. The safety features are excellent! The performance is good. I’m getting around 32 MPG for all around driving. I have the car maintained at the dealership and haven’t had any mechanical issues. I would definitely recommend this car.

2020 Subaru Outback review
I have a 2020 Subaru Outback Touring 2.4L turbo model, the fully-loaded, most expensive model. It replaced a 2011 standard Outback with a 2.5L engine and manual transmission. My only criticism is poor gas mileage, about 23-24 mpg versus the 2011's 28.2 average over more than 100K miles. I like the power (260 HP) but might have forgone the turbo had I anticipated the unimpressive mileage. My 2001 Audi Q5, with a 260 HP 2.0L turbo engine, averages 28+ mpg, but cost $10K more than my Subaru. I rationalize by recognizing that $10K will buy a lot of gasoline.

2022 Subaru Forester review
This is my third Subaru Forrester. I like the newer safety features and ease of handling. The size is perfect for me, not too small or too big! I would recommend if you’re looking for a midsize vehicle.

2023 Subaru Ascent review
I recently traded in my 2022 Ascent for a similar 2023 model. The 2022 model had brakes issues/noises right from the beginning of ownership. Subaru gave me a great deal on the 2023 model. A number of improvement were found on the 2023 model. Obvious one is the exterior styling with new front grille, headlights and taillights. Interior improvements include updated Eyesight, quieter ride, better steering and brakes, larger multimedia screen including front and backup camera screens, driver profile system. A few other tweaks here and there, making the 2023 Ascent Touring a decent and very safe SUV. Not necessarily sporty or thrilling but perfect vehicle for commuting in town and long road trips.

December 26,2025 (Pending Snow Storm) One of the most overused phrases from a car salesperson is : “Our Service Department is the BEST!”. A pending snowstorm, like everyone else I depend on my car too much! Unfortunately, it’s towards the end of the work day and it’s an issue I can’t avoid. We all have certain family and friends that you have on “speed dial”. This is the sentiment I hold for Jamie Nussbaum and his wonderful staff at East Hill Subaru in Roslyn, New York. I made the call and Lisette answered. She immediately understood my issue and responded, “ You know there is a snow storm coming. You need to bring your car here and we’ll take care of it”. Lisette is another example of a true professional that takes great pride in her position. I arrived and was greeted by Service Advisor Justin Peralta. He did the intake and assured me the car would be thoroughly checked out and I would be updated throughout the process. In a short period of time, Lorrie Santiago came to inform me that my car was ready. Lorrie Santiago is always congenial, professional and laser focused on the task at hand. Lorrie’s area is highly efficient, the paperwork and fob were all ready to go. Lorrie informed me of what was completed, asked if I had any questions and personally thanked me for bringing my car to East Hills Subaru. Lorrie is very proud of this organization and it shows every time! Integrity begins at the top! Jamie Nussbaum is an extremely professional individual.His affect is always pensive yet gregarious in nature. Jamie’s attention to detail is reflected in every aspect of his Service Department. The amount of pressure with work orders, pending projects, emergency customer drop-ins could make this Service Department of “FRENETIC HOT ZONE”. However, to the contrary, Jamie’s strong but calming presence guides his ship through another day of success for his entire team. Philip Saccio and Justin Peralta are top Service Advisors. I’ve been most impressed by both of these professionals. These men take their positions most seriously. The initial intakes are thorough, the process is clearly layed out with potential cost and a clear timeline is presented. Philip Saccio and Justin Peralta assure me they are dedicated to success. The man behind the curtain where all the magic happens is Sandro! I call him the “Economist-Master Technician. Sandro always has a smile along with being extremely gifted. His videos that he takes of the work he performs are extremely informative. Sandro will always give suggestions to keep my vehicle at its peak performance. Sandro’s economic background is always integrated into his technical practice. It appears Sandro’s daily mission is to be the best “Economist-Master Technician” every day. Mission Accomplished Sandro! Finally, I have to acknowledge Jamie Nussbaum. He always takes a compliment and deflects to include his team. His conversations with me always demonstrate a pride he has of everyone on his team. I understand his pride in working with these great professionals. 2013 Subaru Impreza review
This is a terrific car for someone who wants a reliable, economical car that's great in snow and ice, and gets excellent gas milage. To help maximize your mpg just watch the dashboard meter that tells you when you're getting the best mpg possible. If you're not (like the reviewer who said he got only 18 mpg) then you're driving too fast and you can't blame the car for that! I love my Subaru!

2023 Subaru Forester review
This is our second Forester. Our first was a 2011 Premium we bought as a CPO in 2014 and unfortunately went through the headache of excessive oil consumption within months of buying it. Subaru did eventually replace the engine short block on their dime, but only after repeated oil consumption tests and being told by the dealer service department that it was within normal limits. Calling Subaru of America was the only way we got it resolved. I was impressed that they approved the service, and that's the reason we bought another Subaru. We also have a 2018 Outback Premium in our garage--no oil consumption, and no major issues except replacing the radio for failed lighting behind the volume knob and a minor leak in the oil pan (no dripping underneath the car though) at about 42k miles. We like our 2023 Forester Sport overall, and first and foremost we like its excellent safety ratings and features. I will say the ride is much firmer than our Outback which is only a couple hundred pounds heavier. Wish it had a little more storage in the center console and beneath the climate controls. We look forward to many years of driving with the Forester (and our Outback). Based on our experience, I do feel getting a Subaru-backed extended warranty is worth it for peace of mind (we bought them for our first Forester and now our Outback and both eventually paid for themselves). You DON'T have to buy the warranty when you purchase the vehicle. Call different dealers in your state and ask for their price on an extended warranty for your vehicle--we saved hundreds of dollars by doing this. You have until your manufacturer warranty expires to add an extended warranty.

2021 Subaru Forester review
Other than battery replacement , car has been amazing ! 1 exception cup holders are located too far aft and require driver to look down to locate cup without removing eyes from road ! This issue has been partially addressed in later years by offsetting passengers holder slightly forward of drivers, but still awkward position ! both should be more forward nearer to dash !

2024 Subaru Crosstrek review
Too early to be sure of reliability, but my previous 4 subarus were great. I came here to say how much I like this new purchase, a used '24. Great cruise features. Good power & performance (2.5L) so I'm happy with the CVT. I just love it. They're still a bit lighter and noisier than the outback/legacy versions.

2023 Subaru Forester review
The radio and the heat settings leave a lot to be desired. If you’re looking for a heater setting, you won’t find it. Nothing annoys me more than unrequested updates on flood watch/warning. it just can’t be tailored to exactly where you live. But every 6 minutes is a bit of overkill. And our previous Forester had a tray in the middle storage (glove box). Even though we asked our salesman about that, we have heard nothing. Missing the change tray a lot.

2023 Subaru Forester review
Likes: spacious interior despite modest exterior dimensions, easy to maneuver, great visibility all around, comfortable ride, good traction, handling, and braking, nice interior finish on sport model, strong steering responsive headlights yet they don't blind opposing traffic, very good optional Harmon sound system, numerous effective safety features, low insurance premiums, adequate acceleration..a few cons: actual economy slightly under EPA estimates, seat may be a bit too firm for some but easy to address by adding a thin seat cushion, mandatory sunroof on all but the base model..I wish Subaru would just make that a single option..rough engine start-stop ..however I disable it each time I start engine so it can be a non issue...no reliability issues yet but since this has a cvt and fairly complex safety features, long term reliability is unknown..

2023 Subaru Outback review
Turn signals do not have a loud sound. They are very low My 2016 Outback has nice loud turn signals. You cannot turn your radio off. The only way not to hear it is to put the sound real low. Two major complaints I have

Its been more reliable than anything I’ve owned so far . Not very comfortable at times ! the steering wheels a little cold in the winter but its not the luxury model . The manual transmisions smooth shifting is perfect 5 speed to get you down the road!

I purchased my Outback Premium in 2022 new. Liked the color. silver, and didn't want moonroof or a lot of extras that could break. Bad battery experience has really disappointed our experience although the cars performance and comfort has not.

Oh and I got my registration transferred and it's only been a week and a half and I already received my updated one in the mail. I have no complaints. Extra set of keys, full tank of gas, great warranty and a like new car. Love this place!!!

2022 Subaru BRZ review
The fun-to-dollar ratio is off the charts with the second-generation BRZ. The car offers tremendous handling, adequate power (a welcome upgrade from the first generation), great looks and quality fit and finish. I have the Limited edition with the upgraded interior and the seats are quite comfortable and the car is well set up for spirited driving. At this price point you aren't going to get a truly luxury interior, but the quality, appearance and comfort (but only for the front seat passengers!) that come with this car provide great value for the money. The rear seat is only suitable for carrying groceries, packages or small children. They are practically useless for holding adult passengers. Other quibbles are that the drink holders in the center console are in an awkward position and the sound system is really poor. If listening to music is an integral part of your driving experience, you will want to install an after-market system. Overall, however, this car is a home run. The driving experience takes me back to the days of the old British sports cars, but with massively improved performance, quality, comfort and reliability.
