2022 Jeep Wrangler review
Visibility and size are what I need. 4WD, clearance for snow. Rather tight interior, not suitable for more than two. Auto Park is very confusing. Not auto parallel Park. Car will stop while backing out of parking space, won't move if a somewhat complex procedure is not followed.

2024 Ford Escape review
Pretty good except it has a clicking noise. Pretty sure im gonna have to take it to the shop after only 3 weeks. Have to see if there is an issue as recalls on the transmission keep Popping up in my Facebook feed.

2026 Honda CR-V review
Third Honda; second CR-V. I do of course think some things could be better like the speakers sounding a little better with more bass. The gas mileage isn't as great as my previous 2017 CR-V Touring or my previous 2025 Civic Sport but it was to be expected honestly. Usually you get better mileage as the car goes through the break-in period. I also think the infotainment could be a little better. Not sure if it was because the Civic had tighter steering but it feels loose in the CR-V. Honda plant where mine was built should have gone with a different tire brand because as soon as I can I am changing them; it has Hankook Kinergy GT

2025 Nissan Rogue review
This my 4th Nissan Rogue, and it's the only car I'll buy. I have NEVER had any problems with it, or any that I have owned. I have taken trips across country with it, with great gas mileage and comfortable to drive. It handles well, has plenty of get up and go, easy on the wallet, and very reliable.

2025 Subaru Forester review
Bought this car and took off for a 2000miles trip so learned along the way, Not a speed demon but enough to get into traffic and gas mileage is great...over 30 on highway. my only complaint was I couldn't see during a bad storm because the center screen was so bright it was blinding me and had to turn it off. AMAZING SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! I start off with those three words so even if you don't read this whole review you get the point. We were traveling through Augusta GA after evacuating from hurricane Ida that had just devastated the New Orleans area. All warning lights popped up on the dash of my 2016 VW Jetta SEL and the vehicle went in to limp mode. Zero power over 35mph. On top of the destruction of hurricane Ida back home in New Orleans now I have a car that just basically gave up on me. The already pit in my stomach became even larger and only the worst case scenarios were going through my head now. A Google search leads me to the amazing team at Gerald Jones Volkswagen and the magic begins. Expecting at least a two or three day hotel stay in Augusta my service advisor Charles Davis takes me in to his service drive and assures me that everything will be alright and immediately puts one of his top techs named Mr. Chris on the case. Turns out it was as simple as a wheel speed sensor that the parts specialist Candace Betsch had sitting on the shelf in the parts department. While waiting on my vehicle to be repaired and strolling through the new car showroom I was greeted by the nicest young lady by the name of Vickie McPhee who introduced herself as the General Manager and was just as sweet as could be making sure that I was doing okay with a true concern about our safety during this hurricane evacuation. She even went as far as to introduce me to one of the owners Mr. David Jones and we had a great conversation as well. Next thing I know my service advisor Charles was standing next to me telling me that the speed sensor had already been replaced and my vehicle after being washed and run through quality control was ready to go. This my friends is one heck of a car dealership that has employed a team of people that truly care about their customers no matter where they are from or what dealership the vehicle was purchased. Keep up the good work and "job well done!"
2023 Subaru Forester review
LOVE this car, maybe a little biased since this is my 5th Forester, my 2nd Wilderness. My first Wilderness was totaled in a head-on collision when a young driver spilled coffee and veered into my lane and struck me head-on. That was my 1st Subaru Forester Wilderness and IT SAVED MY LIFE. Full curtain all-around airbag deployment with a roll, the Wilderness coming to rest on it's right side, me still strapped into seatbelt, and the Subaru automatic crash notification with a live person on the speakers asking me if I was ok and needed 911! Smoke still coming from the airbag deployments, and there is a live person coming over the speakers asking me if I'm ok. It was surreal. SUBARU FORESTER WILDERNESS SAVED MY LIFE! TYVM Subaru! LOVE this car! Gets 25+ MPG with conservative driving, a great ride and suspension, superior traction in mud and snow, load-out practically anything/rack bikes (or whatever on the roof racks), sleep in the back with ample room, superior rear-gate lift mechanism with memory, seats super-comfortable and easily adjustable, solid rear-seat leg-room, easy rear-seat fold-downs for massive cargo area that takes my full HVAC tool load-out for servicing ice baths all over the NorthEast US. A great value, especially CPO with +10K mileage (vs. new) MONEY WELL SPENT! SUBARU FOR LIFE

I am assuming probably because I had my young son with me. (Don't judge a book by its cover.) A salesman approached me finally. He was very a nice man. But I did not like the set up of the dealership at all. The salesman was looking on an iPad that died in the process of looking for two pilots that I saw online. So then he had to use his cell phone. This whole time we are sitting in a lounge type area with no privacy from other people passing by or from being able to hear the manager who was very rude to his employees sitting at his desk. The salesman asked the manager if he look in the database to see if the vehicles had sold because we did not find them on the lot when we had looked previously. He was very impatient with the salesman and seemed to careless if the man sold me a vehicle. After the manager told him that 1 of the pilots was on the lot somewhere the salesman went to look again for it leaving me for at least 15-20 minutes. I was getting ready to leave at that point when he showed back up and said he could not find it. At that point I was very aggravated with how rude the manager was to his employees, the fact that he also seemed to careless if his employee sold me a vehicle, having no privacy when talking about budget, waiting so long for someone to greet me when I arrived to the dealership and having to wait for him to try to find the vehicle and then not be able to find it. Now for my experience at Honda Cars of Aiken with Clint. My husband went to Honda cars of Aiken the first time alone to narrow down choices of vehicles we were looking into. Clint showed him what we were interested in and allowed him to test drive the vehicles to determine what best suited our family. We decided we were very interested in pilots so we both along with our 18 month old son went back to the dealership. When we arrived he showed us the 4 pilots they had on the lot and told us the difference in each. We picked the one we were most interested in. He allowed us to all ride together including moving our son's car seat from our vehicle to the one we were test driving. After our test drive we went inside to Clint's desk (that's right his own desk with a decent amount of privacy also may I add his own computer) where he had a toy car waiting for my son to play with. He was great with our son the whole time and so patient. Which to a mother is a huge deal! We did not buy that evening because this was a big decision for our family so we wanted time to really think about it and make sure we were not rushing into our decision. Clint was very understanding. We came back later and purchased the vehicle. I would highly recommend him if your looking to purchase. He will be patient and understanding but most of all he wants to make sure you have the right vehicle for you or your family and not just push you into something that does not suit you just to sell a car. So if your looking to buy a car, truck, SUV, or something in between go see Clint at Honda Cars of Aiken.
2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid review
I’ve had many Subarus in the past, but wanted a hybrid vehicle. So glad I did with these gas prices! I’m getting 41mpg right now. My favorite things are the trunk kick open feature, my hands are always full. I love the heated steering wheel too. I have the flat matte gray color, I receive lots of compliments and color hides dirt well. Handles well on road, drives nicely. Only thing I would change is size of cup holders, they are small.

Good handling car in all weather. Blind spots in back causes me to pay extra attention to people coming up on my sides. Great mileage if you avoid excessive speed. Quite riding vehicle.

Had a horrendous trip to Augusta from PA in my daughters subaru after being serviced at home the night before. Found ourselves in a truck stop in the pouring rain in South Carolina at midnight. Started just looking at Gerald Jones with her car in the shop. She ended driving and liking a Subaru Crosstrek. They spent an hour going over the car with her, and gave her a bag of info and Subaru items. Told me I could bring in my Subaru and they would go over my car with me since I never received orientation when I bought mine. The next day we brought the car back for a molding issue. They fixed it within 30 minutes snd back on the road. She returned for questions about the car options, and they spent another hour with her to make sure she was comfortable. Being out of state, I felt like family was taking care of my daughter. I would buy from them over and over again. We are actually looking for a car for us while we are visiting family here. 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid review
We purchased our new 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid TrailSport last month and love it! It drives very smoothly and has a nice, quiet ride. I’ve been getting 35 mpg so far, which I’m really happy about for it being a mid sized suv. The Apple Car Play is great. I’m enjoying the technology in the vehicle and feel it’s perfect without being distracting. I love the look of this design of CR-V, especially in the Ash Green Metallic we chose! I had previously been driving a 2018 luxury hybrid suv. Ultimately I decided that this vehicle has a quieter ride, better fuel economy and is a perfect fit for my around town commuting. In addition, both the dealership and Honda were offering great incentives. My son purchased the exact same model ‘26 CR-V (in a different color) last October. He loves it as well and recommended we check it out during our vehicle search. Now we have two in the family!

2023 Ford Bronco Sport review
Bought new. 50k on the odometer. Nothing of any concern has happened and Ford has a generous 10k miles between maintenance intervals. Stock tires on the Badlands did not last anywhere near their projected life. With the new tires I’m getting around 28mpg now. The badlands GOAT modes have gotten me through a lot of OHV trails and forest roads. The suspension articulates well. Anything I’ve dared to ask it do it has done.

2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid review
Little over 800 miles and already getting over 40MPG city. Highway is in low 30's. Seats could stand to be just a bit wider. Really miss not having Sirius Radio but finding ways around it. NO Spare tire.

2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid review
I love this hybrid with all its safety and convenience features. It has much more pep than my old CRV and is getting 40 mpg. It is also stylish and almost luxurious. Its cargo capacity is adequate.

A coworker Carmax to me. I enjoyed that you could walk around the lot and actually get inside the vehicles to check them out. No one followed you around the entire time unless you wanted them to. If needed I'd buy and shop here again. The salesman Britt P. was pleasant to work with too. I wanted a better finance rate because my credit score told me I could get one. I was advised to check around. In the end I was able to get a lower rate from another source and get the vehicle I wanted. I'm scheduled for some detail work on the vehicle and I trust it will be done well too.
