2023 Lexus GX 460 review
I traded my 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE450 4Matic for a brand new 2023 Lexus GX460 and could not be happier! I love how solid and substantial the GX feels and even thought it is not at quick as the MB with its turbo inline 6, I love how the V8 engine in my GX sounds and performs with its perfectly matched power train. The truck looks nice, rides nice and it a great place to spend time. I’m looking forward to many years of enjoyment since these vehicles are known for their legendary reliability.

2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee review

2026 Toyota Grand Highlander review
I absolutely love this car. It’s a big jump from sitting in the rav4. The grand is much higher. You may just want a regular Highlander but you’re not getting the grand style. I don’t like that I have to shut off the auto start and stop. Only bad thing. Other than that, it reminds me of the Lexus TX

2020 Chevrolet Blazer review
Bough this Blazer brand new in June of 2020 and it has been very reliable with zero issues. All we have done is change the oil and rotate the tires on schedule. I am 6' tall with a prosthetic leg and I can get in and out with minimum struggles, whereas vehicle is driven mostly by my wife as a grandkid hauler on a regular basis with no complaints from her about anything save a TPS module failing in one tire. We did opt to get the 3.6L V-6 and what a powerful engine, 308 HP that leaves no want for more power. I did get a de-activator for the active fuel management system. I am concerned about camshaft and lifter failure as a known issue with this engine down the road. Also have heard and read about timing chain issues that will need to be replaced between 80k miles and 120k miles. This is a wear part that will need to be dealt with but remains much less than the sales tax on a new vehicle.

2026 Hyundai SANTA FE review
Fifth Hyundai vehicle. I have never had a bad experience with any of the cars., same for the dealers and service. The cars have always been reliable, loaded with great technology, and provided great comfort to drive. The 2026 Santa Fe clearly offers a lot of car for the price. It has also been a step up from previous models. Really enjoy the addition of the turbo engine. The only downside to all of this is Hyundai eliminated the included 36000 miles service the only disappointing part of a great driving experience,

2023 GMC Acadia review
I have owned my Acadia just under one year. It is quiet, stylish, has an easy and very effective infotainment system, owns five star safety and shows every indication of being as reliable as the Yukon I owned for 20 years. This Suv will go to 60 mph in about 6.0 seconds flat. It has 20 inch wheels and tires and will turn better and stop faster than most every Suv. I have front and rear heated seats, cooled seats, a sunroof, memory settings and this is only an SLT. My gas mileage routinely exceeds EPA (with AWD). Driving from Milwaukee to Chicago, I averaged 29.8 MPG at 75 mph. EPA is 26 MPG at 65 mph. I truly LOVE that Car and Driver rates this SUV near the bottom. Better for me. I have the Home Run. The OWNERS of the GMC Acadia rate this SUV higher than Highlander Palisade, Explorer, Telluride and all the rest. Count me among them. FYI, not a GM employee, just a happy customer.

2022 Ford Explorer review
I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

2023 Chevrolet Traverse review
We have only had it a few days , Initial impression is good . Very comfortable to ride in and this is only the LS version . Probably the only midsize SUV with a V6 that you can still get for $33000 . V6 runs well , can't speak to the mileage yet as it isnt even broken in yet but should get 27-28 mpg out on the highway with a 9 speed auto . As of right now it shifts well . Really like the two tone interior . Has soft touch vinyl . Probably a few. spots on doors where the vinyl is a little hard and looks a little cheap it does not bother me . Exterior wise I like the LED headlights which seem to work well enough . Also like the LED DRL's which turn amber when you put the signal lights on . also has LED taillights and reverse lamps . Interior had LED reading lamps and interior lamps . The auto stop/start has a button to turn it off . This was a must for me . A deal breaker if it did not have it . It is down next to the shifter . The seats on mine are cloth , very nice lighter tan and the cloth is very tough material which should not wear out . Very happy with them and they are reasonably comfortable . The second row will recline a little though not as much as the first row . The second row is a bench type seat as this the LS version which is the cheapest one . Even this version has Blind spot and lane departure warnings, accident avoidance system,Lane keep assist Rear cross traffic alert . These aren't something I really wanted and will actually probably turn them off as I don't need the car manuvering the car on it's own . As far as long term reliability only time will tell . Initailly I see no issues with the car and everything seems to work though I havent really gone thru all features yet , I hope to get 10 years and 150000 miles out of this without a lot of trouble . Don't let me down Chevy .

2022 Chevrolet Traverse review
I bought a 2018 Traverse new. I still have it in 2025. I bought it because it was an inexpensive truck. I have to say that it really grew on me as I have owned it. It is very reliable. I had only 1 check engine light after 4 years and cheap to fix. It runs great! Its fast and has a super comfortable suspension and interior. The stereo has a really good sound. It holds a lot of cargo at Costco for me. I take beach trips (total 7) with my gf and 3 children and their friends and everybody fits! I also tow with it. My son has a 16 foot Boston Whaler that it pulls no problem. Strong at the boat ramp as well. This is a great versatile truck and I will probably buy another one after 10 years. I am very pleased 4 stars for this truck. Almost perfect. Improvements: I would like a better and bigger touch screen and real usb hook up in car.

2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited review
I special ordered my 2021 4 dr Sahara in Feb of 2022 and received it 4/1. I have previously owned 4 JK models over the yrs. The 2021 I just love. the interior appts, the dash layout with the nav. I got the upgraded leather seats and paint color white with One Touch Skyview top. Got the 3.6 with E torque for powerplant. They improved on the brakes vs JK. Much stronger!

2023 Chevrolet Traverse review

Let's face it: buying a new car can be a real hassle. I can honestly and happily report that Toyota of Hernando provided an amazing experience that far surpassed our expectations. The facility is new and clean. Our salesman, Zach Dickinson, was so helpful and easy to work with. He's been in the car business for years, so his perspective was invaluable when discussing pros and cons of the Grand Highlander we were looking at. Ali was our financial liaison and was very warm and professional. Mind you, we walked into the dealership at 6:45ish pm and bought this car in two hours. Ali got it done quickly, but he nor anyone else at the dealership ever made us feel rushed. But the real test of a company is their response when something goes wrong, and in our experience, Toyota of Hernando knocked it out of the park. First, Ali called me to check on how everything was going and if we liked the car. I told him about a somewhat serious glitch (TMTT) that happened three times in the four days we owned the car. It didn't happen all the time and I just knew if I took it in (1) the problem wouldn't occur for the service personnel, so they'd just shrug and say 'we don't know what you're talking about;' and (2) they would ignore or condescend to me because I'm a woman and I don't know that much about cars. I was pleasantly surprised that neither happened. Ahmad Stewart and Chris Todd in the service department patiently listened to my whole story, asked excellent questions, and a chance comment by Chris and my response led us immediately to the problem which was fixed in about 10 minutes. I have never been treated so respectfully by car service people in my life. They were so open to my explanation and never once made me feel stupid. Then, Chris spent a good half hour with me going over the dash cam, getting my phone hooked up, and explaining the best way to use the air conditioner of all things! I learned so much from him. His title is Product Specialist, but he is a product genius. He knows those cars up, down, backwards, and forwards. Last thing, Toyota of Hernando is not close to our home. It is not convenient. I will never go anywhere else to buy a car. It's that good.You will not be sorry you did business with them.
2021 Toyota Venza review
I had the 2021 Venza XLE for 4.5 years. I just traded it in. I never had one issue with the car. Great gas mileage, comfortable, great drive. I recommend it for anyone interested.

2024 Lexus RX 350h review
Just about 19K miles on the car now. Early on battery ended replacing. There was a slow tire leak that we did not know about when we purchased it. They did not cover this and it cost me for a new replacement. Don't recommend the running board as they are useless at that height. Mileage about 34mpg in ECO mode. Safety features very good. Camera system good. Don't use the auto park ability. Too spooky for us at our age. This is the first Toyota/Lexus automobile we have owned and we highly recommend it. I will keep this car until Lexus comes out with an auto drive like the Tesla. Fremont Lexus is quite attentive. Salesman Connor is excellent.

2024 Mazda CX-90 review
Purchased the PHEV a little over 1 year ago and put 12K+ miles on it so far, and I like it a lot. Its stylish, quiet and great on gas. I consistently get over 70+ MPG around town and 35+MPG on longer trips. However, I *strongly recommend* the L2 charger as it cuts charging time down to 2.5 hour with 29 miles range. Without it, the L1 charger takes forever. I went with a 30W auto splitter on my dryer plug for under $140 on Amazon. Its amazing! However, even if you switch to gas, the Hybrid system averages 26 MPG with standard driving. My only complaint so far is the connection to Google/Apple play sometimes drops for seemingly no reason 1-2 times a week and the reactive driving can be touchy. Overall, very reliable and fun to drive. I highly recommend.

I couldn’t be happier with the level of service I received at Toyota of Hernando. They found the exact vehicle I needed very quickly and were able to accommodate my hectic schedule. My sales rep, Ryan Gaeslin went out of his way to make sure he would be available to meet despite having to show up after normal hours. His knowledge of the features and tech were very impressive. His sales style is low pressure and laid back. This is very uncommon in the auto industry. The finance manager, Art, like Ryan ,was super laid back and didn’t try to push me into additional charges I was uncomfortable with. I’ll definitely be going back to see Ryan and Art in the next couple months to negotiate a new Sequoia. 2024 Mazda CX-90 review
It’s been such a pleasure to own and drive the cx90! My only complaint is I wish it got better gas mileage. The AWD works very well, the inline 6 is more than enough power to drive the vehicle fully loaded with luggage and 6 passengers for 4 hour trips. Overall it’s been an excellent vehicle to own a drive. Driving is believing!

2021 Lexus GX 460 review
Fantastic vehicle! I traded my ‘17 on a Range Rover and regret every single day. Here is my issue - performance. At 302, the horsepower is too low for a vehicle of this size. I also have a Volvo S60 T6 and even its engine cranks out more ponies.

2023 Lexus GX 460 review
I traded my 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE450 4Matic for a brand new 2023 Lexus GX460 and could not be happier! I love how solid and substantial the GX feels and even thought it is not at quick as the MB with its turbo inline 6, I love how the V8 engine in my GX sounds and performs with its perfectly matched power train. The truck looks nice, rides nice and it a great place to spend time. I’m looking forward to many years of enjoyment since these vehicles are known for their legendary reliability.

2018 Lexus GX 460 review
Love this vehicle. It is on a frame so it will not ride like a plush luxury vehicle but it rides and handles very well. Lexus detuned the motor bit. A little more power might have been nice but it not designed, nor do I want, a rocket. In fact, when I learned that Lexus was going to also retire this very reliable 8 cyclinder and offer twin turbo v-6s, we bought a second one. We get 18-22 miles per gallon from a reliable motor which will should last hundreds of thousands of dollars. This turbo stuff, just like the ev stuff represents false economies and will result in the death of such vehicles way before they need to be junked.
