Only minor problems with only one maintance/repair/upgrade visit just recently (2020) at a Tesla SC, 1.5 days in the shop. All other minor problems handled by an excellent mobile Tesla tech that comes to your house (a special service for those not near a SC). No drivetrain problems whatsoever. 1/3 the maintenance cost of an ICE vehicle, no gas cost. Gas net savings about $5,0000 over 5 years. This is an SUV with moderate dirt road capability and 9" ground clearance.

Most comfortable and most exciting car I have ever owned. The falcon-wing doors are amazingly practical! In tight spaces where the conventional front doors can barely open, the FW doors lift up and out, making exit much more comfortable; plus, on rainy days, they act like awnings - wonderful for attending to children in the rear seats.

Alex was very friendly and knowledgeable in the service department at Ted Russell on Kingston Pike in Knoxville. The man in another department across the service way was also friendly and loaned me a new explorer with 1600 miles on it for a few days. Usually they come to my house for oil and lub service which is a phenomenal convenience that no other dealer I?ve used but this was mechanical problem.

Roomy, designed well and capable. Lots of bells and whistles but all very intuitive to use. Handles well, tows, seats 5-7 and ample use of rear hatch space/cargo space. Pluging in wasn't a worry or very hard to do.

You will be told you can refinance your car later by their finance guy but Nas let me know chances are slim since their cars have a salvage title. 5️⃣ Take a Thorough Test Drive – Instead of a quick spin, they encouraged me to test the car under different road conditions to make sure it felt right. Additional Important Steps They Advised: 🔴 No Returns Policy – Once you sign, the car is yours. They emphasized doing all research beforehand, getting an inspection, and making sure I was 100% confident before committing. 🔴 Salvage Title Considerations – Many of their vehicles have salvage titles, which means: Insurance rates will likely be higher, and some insurance companies won’t cover salvage vehicles at all—so check before buying. Resale and trade-in value will be lower, and some dealerships won’t take salvage vehicles. Many banks won’t finance salvage titles, so you may need to pay in cash or use a lender that specializes in these purchases. 🔴 Check the Vehicle’s Value with Other Dealers – One of the best tips the manager gave me was to take the VIN numbers of the cars I was interested in and check with other dealerships to see what they would pay for it. This was a really great car buying experience. I live several hundred miles away from the dealership so most of the communication and pricing information was done online. I had to fly into the city the dealer is located which made me a little nervous knowing they could change some terms of the deal or present unexpected charges. To my relief, everything was exactly as promised online, the car was perfect, all personnel were amazing and the facility was clean and comfortable.
