My first car, the best car!
This was my first car, a silver 2000 GT manual, and it was a blast to own. Comfortable interior, great gas mileage (34mpg on the highway) and cool styling. My only issues were significant oil consumption (approx. 1 qt./300mi), and no anti-lock braking system, but other than that, it was a reliable car that got me to school, work and plenty of adventures.

200,000 miles and going strong crossing USA
I'm the 3rd owner of this 2000 Celica GTS. I purchased it from my son 10 years ago at the time he lived in NC and I lived in Iowa. Since then I have put over 150,000 miles on it driving from the East Coast to Iowa several times. It handled like a dream then and still does. The only problems I have had is the paint clear coat has pealed from the East Coast weather. No problems from thee Iowa snow when driving I was even able to make it up my steep drive once it was plowed out when sometimes it took my husband several tries in his SUV. Regardless if the weather was 100* or -35* it started every time. We have live in a 5th wheel for a few years now and I love the power this little car has jumping on and off the freeways in front of the 5th wheel so he has a clear lane change. Starting in Georgia where we spent the last 3 winters then going to SC to visit our son who gave the car a complete check over at almost 200.000 miles before we left for Iowa for the summer then down to New Mexico and across to Arizona. It has been so nice not worrying about car problems unlike 2 new SUVs we have owned in the past. While in Arizona I did have to put a screen over the entrance to the carburator because we found a stowaway had filled the air filter full of acorns and sunflowers and had left her two little babies in some napkins under the seat that was folded down for the dog. Yes, my gentle Flat Coat Retriever found them and momma Chipmunk and babies are fine and now free.

Purchased off show room floor in Jan 2000
I have kept it "stock", it has over 200K miles and going strong. Just took a day trip 400-mile over Sierra-Nevada Highway 80 back and forth from Benicia, CA, and Reno, NV. I will just say I was in the lead, not a follower on the road. Gas usage is 400+miles to a 12-gallon tank. Major repairs: replaced air condition unit due to my error, catalytic converter, engine due to mechanic error.

Cleanest lot I've seen for a used car lot. Extremely friendly and considerate staff huge thanks to Albert for helping get this deal done very easy to work with 10/10 would recommend stopping here for ur next vehicle
I owned 3
I still love the last generation of the Celica! I owned 3 a 2000 GT in white, black, silver all were automatics, only bc I couldn’t find a standard. I loved every one but every one was totaled one after another. I think it was me, I took a defensive driving class (court ordered) and realized that it really was me. I haven’t had an accident since 2009. I don’t blame the Celica but I credit it to saving my life 3x. I see them on the road on occasion but less and less. IMO the last Gen Celica was totally underrated. It just came at a bad time in American history, but it should be a part of automotive history. If you have one keep it and take care of it. If you have one and don’t care for it, sell it and give someone a chance to own their dream car.

Satisfaction Gauranteed!
In late March, I accompanied a friend to Express to look over and purchase a car from Express. Personally, I was very impressed with the salesmen there. Their helpfulness, thorough explanation and detailed answers to all of our questions proved they were sincere and plain dealing. My friend purchased a Mustang and is enjoying it greatly. After the sale, follow-up questions and concerns were answered immediately and provided continued satisfaction with the purchase that was made. Integrity and fidelity are two adjectives that are in my mind with the staff at Express. Excellent work, gentlemen!
Celica and why I love it.
I love my red Toyota Celica GT with the action package. I appreciate the fact that it is a five speed manual and how much fun it is. 140,000 miles and runs like Tony the tiger. Quick with precise steering and handling. The body style and aerodynamics are impressive. Even today the body style looks totally modern. The Celica does sit low to the ground and can be difficult for some people to get into. I have no problem with the rear window or blind spots. You just have to take the time to know your car. Very reliable with little maintenance needed. This is my second Celica. I had a 1977 hatchback that everyone wanted to drive back in the day.

Great experience
Purchase a very nice Porsche from Motorcar Classics. The entire process was straight forward and very professional. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an exotic or classic car.
Most reliable car for the money
I’ve put 125k miles on it so far. Had 160k when I got it. Still has the original engine and runs great. Getting 34-39 MPG overall with the 5-speed and driving it nicely. Interior has held up exceptionally well, no cracking on any of the panels.

Great Service
I have been left speechless by the services provided by MotorCar Classics. I had called their office and was so lucky to be connected to Craig. The original conversation started with info on a car they had recently sold. We talked for a good 20-30 minutes and I can tell Craig was full of enthusiasm and a passion for cars. One conversation led to another and he taught me how consignment works. I had sold 4 jeeps prior on my own and didn't even know consignment to sell a car was a thing. He walked me through the details on how it works. I ended up giving them my Jeep CJ-7 after a week and they had it sold faster than I had imagined. For my age, my biggest battle is getting a conversation going with such professionals who deal with cars worth hundreds of thousands. Their ENTIRE staff including the owner were so friendly & welcoming. I would do business with them a hundred times over. I HIGHLY recommend them.
97 GT Convertible future classic
I needed a good gas mileage reliable car. I knew there’s no car ever made that is more reliable than a 90’s to early 2000’s Toyota and I was lucky enough to find a 25 year old Celica convertible in great shape. I had no idea what a truly exceptional car this was. It handles nearly as good as my first generation Miata, but brakes better, steering is very precise, it has a back seat and ride quality that makes a day long marathon trip comfortable. The trunk is a little difficult to open and it won’t scare you with acceleration, but it will put an enormous smile on your face every time you drive it. I’ve owned dozens of cars- many of them classics, this may well be my favorite.

A really great experience

I purchased my 1999 Celica GT with 95,000 miles a few
I purchased my 1999 Celica GT with 95,000 miles a few years ago. For a 99 this car is amazingly reliable. I do have a parisidic battery drain that kills the battery if it sets longer than 2 weeks but I'm also sure it's an easy fix if I stopped being lazy. I had to have the AC recharged and the valve cover gaskets replaced due to leaking oil. I think it comes with an old car. Other than this I don't think I had a more reliable car from starting driving until now in my 40s. I wish there were more aftermarket parts but you can still always find what you need if something small needs replaced. With the manual transmission I love driving the car even if it's not fast it's still fun to drive. On top of all that they are not a desirable car so you can get one for cheap and it's very easy to work on. I would definitely recommend this car.

I almost bought a car today!
The salesman Jimmy was very nice and informative. I asked a lot of questions and he answered each one with patience and pose. Even after realizing I probably wasn't going to buy a car from him. The other wonderful thing was that I never felt any kind of pressure you usually get from a salesperson to buy, buy, buy. I felt very comfortable talking with him. He made me feel like he was an old friend. It's the only place I would go to buy a car and to recommend to a friend. Thank you, MissDiane!
My Favorite Car
My 1997 Toyota Celica ST lift back was the BEST car I ever owned . It got 33 MPG highway and it did great in the snow. I had a 50 mile each direction commute to college in the snowy mountains of Pennsylvania and I never missed a day of classes. I always got there safely in my Celica .... many times I passed 4 wheel drive SUVS stuck in snowy ditches in my Celica ! When I married a soldier and moved over seas I drove it all over Europe for 5 years. I never had a problem. It needed gas , oil changes and wiper blades .. that's about it. It even had the original Toyota battery in it for 13 years. I always felt safe and confidant in my Celica. It was super reliable and it's style never got out dated. Others makes and models their style looked out dated after a few years but not the Toyota Celica .... it was always a good looking car. I got tons of complements on it from Americans & Germans ! I am so sad that Toyota no longer makes that Celica ..... really nothing else on the market measures up to the style , gas milage , reliability and versatility of the Toyota Celica. You can have it all with the Celica. A car that looks sporty yet has a hatch back and fold down seats giving you a ton of space ! I could put my 21 speed mountain bike in the back of my sport car or haul 30 bags of mulch to my house ! Can your sport car do that ? :o)

Love my Celica GTS!
I bought my 2003 Celica GTS brand new off the lot. I have always enjoyed driving it and still enjoy it. It was a daily driver for me, but I bought a Tacoma P/U, and retired my Celica, and have no intentions of selling it any time soon. It is so much fun to drive, although it is not driven much anymore. I have a little over 100,000 miles on it and still love to take it out for a spin once in a while....fast for a four banger!

I love NHAM!
They have always treat me like royal family for years! Can't say enough good things about Jay, Em and Jay! Honest, friendly and eager to help.
Best car ever
I've owned alot of different cars and SUVs, and always wanted a celica. When I had to scrap my 99 Toyota Corolla, due to the frame rusting apart, I immediately started shopping for a celica. From the outstanding reliability to the exotic style of the exterior, its easily the best car I've ever owned. I've had it for 3 years, and have almost zero problems. 170k miles on it, and it still runs and corners like a true sports car. I have never modified it, nor ever will. In my opinion, its perfect as is.
