If they are going to continue to sell used Teslas, Corwin Toyota needs to better train its employees how to transfer these vehicles through the Tesla process. The previous owner on my purchase was still listed as the owner (an elderly woman). Her credit card was apparently still being used to pay for vehicle electric charging expenses on my vehicle because I couldn't put my credit card on account until prior owner was removed from Tesla account. Simple process, but Corwin needs to commit to address this Tesla qwirk to avoid unfair charges to previous owners. I hope they will reimburse that poor prior owner. Other than this problem, the sales staff were great.

2024 Toyota RAV4 Prime review
If you want a RAV4, get the plug-in hybrid. The larger electric motor delivers much better acceleration than the standard hybrid. The infotainment system is a bit erratic and it is sometimes necessary to fiddle with it to get the radio to play. The mechanical systems are top-notch, fit and finish are good, and the car is pleasurable to drive. Electric driving range is up to 45 miles, depending on outdoor temperature. The 120 volt charging works well, but takes up to 12 hours for a full charge. If your car does not sit that long, you will want a fast charger.

Randy is the most amazing service tech on the planet! He is attentive and kind and makes sure I understand everything that is going on. He isn’t pushy nor does he talk down to me because I’m a woman (as many, many service techs have done!!). I just wish we still had our techs assigned to us so we don’t have to remember to specifically ask for them. It would be nice so we could set up our appt online. As it is I have to call and I have to remember to specifically ask for Randy or I won’t get him. I DO NOT like this change to the way the service department operates. But I also know the service department had nothing to do with this change.
2024 Toyota RAV4 Prime review
After years of diesel Mercedes use, this plug-in hybrid rav4 is mind blowing in comparison. 93mpg after 13,700 miles. I only put premium fuel in this car because i never know when i'll use the ice engine. 500 highway miles range with a full tank.

2022 Toyota RAV4 Prime review
We bought this car after studying the market for a while and were told that there would be a 3-36 month wait for one that we wanted to be available. Then after giving them a deposit, in a couple of weeks a show car from the local auto show became avaialble. It was exactly what we wanted, and has been a blast to drive and ride in, and with the plug-in hybrid, sinfully inexpensive to operate. I am in the process of getting a level 2 charger installed at my home.

2023 Toyota RAV4 Prime review
We had a totally electric Mustang Mach E which we traded for this car since the range and infrastructure both were not ideal. The Toyota RAV4 Prime is the best of both worlds since it is a plug-in hybrid and is the car I should have purchased originally. It gets between 44 - 50 miles on totally electric charge (for around home) and about 500 miles on a fill up of the gas tank (hybrid used on the highway). Pricing was NOT ideal as they added a "Market Adjustment" to the price so it was above MSRP.

We were in no mood or space to buy a car this past weekend, but life had other plans when our Kia started kicking the bucket. We had to find something fast, and within our budget, but also wanted something that we actually WANTED: AWD, sizeable, newer, clean and well maintained. And because we're currently in the process of trying to buy a house, we had a lot of financial needs: in a budget, paying cash, etc. I was already stressed when I walked into Groove Toyota, and anticipating a downhill morning. Enter Mr. Byron Fludd. This man! From the second he introduced himself I started feeling better. Kind, understanding, funny, and he actually LISTENED when we told him all of our needs. The car we saw online was already sold. Byron found us something better for less cost, the size and age and mileage we were hoping for and made the entire process so unbelievably painless. We arrived at 10am and were out of there by 12:30ish? And I think the only reason it took that long is because Byron made sure the new whip was extra-detailed, and also printed us a copy of the CarFax so we had it. I could not be more grateful for our new (used) GMC Acadia, and I can't thank Groove Toyota and sweet Byron enough for taking SUCH good care of us. My husband said multiple times this past weekend that we'll be buying our next car with Byron and Groove Toyota, no question. Every car buying experience for me before this past weekend had been full of pressure, price hikes, and undue stress. Our experience last Saturday changed all that. 2022 Toyota RAV4 Prime review
Love this vehicle! I am a older person and really enjoy the features that the RAV4 offers to senior citizens. The ease of driving and parking is a dream with the rear camera screen. NO room for accidents with back up parking. Love the feature of fuel monitoring especially at a stop light it will shut down to conserve fuel and the minute you step on the gas it with take over. I'm all about saving gas!! Tail gate is another fabulous feature, as I am very short and love that it lifts and closes with no assistance. This is my 3rd RAV4 I have owned, by far the best 2022.

2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime review
The RAV4 Prime is a hybrid-electric vehicle with a bigger battery than the hybrid-electric version of the RAV4. It has Lots of power, all-wheel drive, decent handling along with versatile utility of the compact SUV. This is not an electric vehicle in that the gas engine will operate under certain conditions even though the 'electric mode' has been selected. That said, gasoline usage is reduced if 'electric mode' is used exclusively and the trip distance is less than 35 or 40 miles. My suggestion for Toyota (and anyone else building a "plug-in hybrid") is to increase the battery capacity to 60 miles of electric range. The range-extended electric 2nd Generation Chevy VOLT will deliver around 52 miles of electric range depending on driving and weather conditions and will nearly eliminate gasoline usage for most people. The VOLT electric-drive system is different from the TOYOTA hybrid-drive system. The VOLT will operate as an electric-drive vehicle until either the battery is depleted or the driver selects the "Hold" mode. The car then operates as a gasoline-hybrid-drive and reserves the battery charge for later use as a full-electric drive vehicle. The result of these two different drive systems is that the RAV4 Prime has given us an overall of 100 MPG verses the Gen2 VOLT of 164 MPG. Both have saved considerable gasoline. We recharge regularly at home on Level 1 or Level 2 and almost never 'top-off' at public charging sites. Both have been excellent vehicles with the RAV4 giving more carrying capacity with the trade off of requiring more fuel.
