I went in knowing exactly what car I wanted to test drive and had an appointment with Jean (John) Venant on December 27th. The car (2024 Mazda CX-5) was waiting for me when we arrived. Our salesman was a great guy & seemed knowledgeable about my particular vehicle. It didn't take me long to decide to buy the car on the spot. Baltimore in the financing department fought very hard to get me the best rate/deal available. They even gave me far more for my trade in that I was anticipating. Everyone throughout the (seemingly painless) process was great to work with. We felt very valued. My only "complaint" is the sticker shock I had when I saw all the "dealer fees" on the bill of sale. Many things (window tint, fabric protector, etc) were all things that you only typically see when buying a brand new car and not when buying a used car. And, with any used car purchase, I made sure to get the extended warranty. That's just smart no matter which dealership you buy from. However, I am concerned a bit to read very mixed reviews of the EasyCare warranty company, as it seems they only approve HALF of the claims submitted. Fingers crossed.

Matthew and Sharon handle the financial side of our purchase and also was clear on 30-day refund policy and purchase of our Kicks. My experience with Darrell, the sales representative, and Casey, the business manager, were good. I had two issues related to the process. First, I had to make financial moves to purchase the car and asked for advanced notice from the day the car arrived at the dealer. Darrell contacted me after delivery and PDI were completed. Fortunately the financial arrangements were completed by the next day and did not delay my taking the car. The other issue was Casey promoting various dealer maintenance packages during the final purchase process. While not high pressure, it was a needless effort as I declined, though he did ask “just one more time to make sure that was my choice.” Otherwise, both Darrell and Casey, as well as the other people I encountered at Harper Acura, were invariably courteous and welcoming
