I went in because there was a clunking noise in turning tight turns. My Highlander is a 2004 which I bought new. It has approximately 116,300 miles on it. They did a thorough review and decided that the steering rack was the source of the noise. The cost was going to be about half of what the vehicle is worth. I was told that it was safe to drive and elected not to spend that much on such an old vehicle. My service adviser is Bill Grubb. I have known Bill probably more than 20 years and trust him like a friend. I have only owned Toyotas the last 25 years. My other car is a 2018 Camry SE, which I bought because my 2003 Camry XLE was totaled by another driver.

My wife and I purchased a 2026 Land Cruiser — a vehicle that's in high demand, built in Japan, and carries a real wait list. From our very first visit, Jim treated us like serious buyers. He had a vehicle ready for us to test drive before we even walked in the door, which set the tone for everything that followed. What unfolded over the next five months was unlike any car-buying experience we've had. Jim stayed in regular contact, remembered exactly what we were looking for, and periodically presented similarly-equipped vehicles that were in transit or available — never pushing, just keeping us informed. Each time, we chose to wait for the right one. He never made us feel like a burden for that. Eventually, he found exactly what we wanted. Negotiation was refreshingly straightforward. No pressure, no games — just a fair deal on a vehicle that frankly didn't need to be discounted.
