2004 Toyota Camry Solara review
We bought our 2004 Solara from the Toyota dealership (used) in 2005. I use it exclusively and it is the best car I have ever owned. It has never let me down, never had any problems beyond normal wear and tear. As noted by other reviewers, the seat is not the most comfortable but I was able to solve that problem with a small back cushion that fills in the lower back gap. Gas mileage is good, sound system great, and it’s still a fine looking car. I’ve had it rust-proofed and there are no serious issues in that department. I have a great mechanic who does twice-yearly maintenance on it, and I’ve had she usual run of wear and tear fixes, but definitely nothing out of the ordinary. If you find one on the used car market, snap it up. Mine is now 20 years old and it is not for sale.

What a great dealership! After being mislead at another local dealership (drove 2 hours to get to this one, rhymes with tow), I called to see if another vehicle was still available. To my luck, Brandon with Rusty Drewing Toyota answered and was nothing but exceptional during our visit! He quickly got me a response and made sure the vehicle was ready as I was pulling in. We ended up driving this vehicle home that same day because of Brandon and his EXCELLENT customer service and overall great experience at this dealership! Usually you get the overly sales pitched, on top of you, annoying and usually somewhat dishonest sales person at a car dealership, not at Rusty's! You will be treated like family! Offered, drinks, snacks, a play area for kids and down right honest conversations, where you know you get a fair trade, and a quality vehicle at a price you can achieve! Brandon did nothing but process this deal quickly (which I appreciated with two young kids under five and the hubby not with me that day), honestly and openly tell me about pricing and financing options, offered us a great vehicle and made it an easy process! He even has the best marketing, leaving you lots of his fun stickers so you know who to call and who to refer, which I have been doing since buying from Brandon at Rusty's! Our finance associate was also FANTASTIC! He was quick and kind in explaining details and options and made the process easy too! To top it off, during that time, they offered our family a trip to their "candy store and ice cream" at the dealership, helping to keep my kiddos and myself happy during a process that does take a little time. After finishing things up we were gifted a nice wine bottle and some more of Brandon's personal goodies (snow scrapper, car koozies, etc.)! I have never felt more VIP at a dealership! I wish we lived closer so I could service all my vehicles through this dealership. It's really like none other! You'll need to find my guy Brandon because he's the BEST! He'll take care of you like family and keep the process enjoyable and light hearted too! My MR2 Spyder is the most exhilarating and fun car to drive. Reliable, head turner, classic. Fire Engine Red, I find the rear engine design awesome, and the acceleration and handling amazing.

My wife and I were in the market to purchase my son a pre-owned jeep, and we wanted something that was already fixed up so we found TCD. They had a great selection to choose from. Once we arrived at the dealership you could tell that this was going to be different than any other car buying experience we've had. Jack was first to introduce himself. He was not a fast-talking silver tongue devil like a "like i probably was" stereotypical car salesman that you might be used to. He was a quiet young man that spoke at the right time and when it was necessary. He listens to our wants and needs and never asked us to remind him over and over! It was a subtle character quality that he possessed, and I didn't think too much about it while we were there, but it was a refreshing quality Jack was very knowledge about the vehicle as well. The vehicle we were interested in was a new trade in, so it wasn't quite ready, so I tell you this to say the way the dealership as a whole jumped in to help get the vehicle sales floor ready, was awesome! You could tell that this wasn't their first rodeo! Next was Tina the GM this gal was on top of her game. Very sweet and accommodating but you could tell on the other side of that coin was a savvy tough businesswoman that was going to be fair but by no means going to be taken advantage of! She settled my early onset buyer's remorse that i could feel brewing with transparency. Mo finished up our car deal and was also the finance guy! I loved that cause once we came to an agreement, we shook hand and started banging out paperwork! Mo was an awesome dude very knowledgeable with all the different extended warranties packages which i never did until we bought our last used vehicle and needed to use it on the way home from the dealer. We were in and out in no time. Lastly the Owner Austin! how cool is it for the owner of the dealership to make himself available to his customers. He personally helped my wife and I with whatever we needed or questions we had. It was nice not to have to wait for a salesman to run ask the manager a question then run back with and answer! By the time he got back I probably had 3 or 4 more question to send him running back with! lol Austin was personable and kind! Which was a breath of fresh air this day in time. This was also after the dealership had closed on a Sat night! A few things that are small but can make or break a car deal is that they had fresh free hotdogs cooking all day with 5 or 6 different flavors of soda pop obviously coffee with one of those fancy coffee makes with different flavors of coffee and cappuccino, clean bathrooms and something as a parent and someone that used to sale cars they had a nice selection of boys and girls toys! if you've ever tried to purchase a car with a bored toddler forget about it! the salesman can feel the words we're going to have to come back without the kids. that's how the dealership down the street with toys just made your customer their latest car buyer! Shout out to Scot and Bryan as well! They weren't involved in my car deal but did a good job at making us feel welcome and at ease! Sorry about them Aggie's buddy! I would recommend #texascarone to any and every one that's in the market for a vehicle especially a young couple that might be first time buyers. 2002 Toyota MR2 review
I always wanted a Miata, but their interiors are so small, I am 6'2" and 235 lbs. I fit quite comfortably in my MR2 Spyder. With a 5 speeed manual and excellent mid engine handling, the car is a gas to drive. There is a real feeling of driving engagement. I am getting 31 mpg. Never had a problem. Toyota reliability. With such limited production lots of people have no idea what it is and I get questions. Yes, storage is pretty limited, but this wasn't made for family cross country treks. I purchased the car in April 2017 with 42k miles and now I have 50k with no problems.

This is my 4th Mr2. I absolutely love this automobile! I wouldn't purchase any other. It handles better than any other car that I have driven. I don't understand why Toyota stopped making them.

2008 Toyota Camry Solara review
I love my Solara convertible. No problems at all, ever. It rides like a Rolls Royce, has plenty of power, and the interior is as nice as a car that cost twice as much or more. The top goes down quietly and quickly and never leaks including air at high speeds. The ride is ultra quiet top up or down. All you hear are the tires on the road. Seats are super comfortable and hold you in place if you want to drive it like a sports car. You can manual shift the auto transmission but why bother? Great gas mileage. The exterior is the original paint and still looks brand new. Just a super high quality car. And this car is not small, having owned many other convertibles to me it is large. I would not sell my Solara Convertible at any price because it cannot be replaced. It is more Lexus than Toyota. Every little detail about the car spells luxury. Compass in the rear view mirror and a rear view mirror that tints itself at night when car lights behind you are too bright, then it goes back to normal after there are no lights? Seriously? This car will become a high priced classic.

2004 Toyota MR2 review
I love convertibles. There is something about being able to drive a car with the top down that just thrills me. My first convertible was a 1972 VW Karmen volkswagen super beetle. I loved that car. It was pure fun. My husband bought a Porsche Boxter a few years ago and that is a fun car as well. But it wasn't mine. I wanted my own convertible sports car. So I test drove a few, including a Solstice. I fell in love with the Toyota MR2. It just felt good to drive. It was like we belonged together. I bought it this past autumn and even got to put the top down a few times. I like driving it even with the top up. But I am really looking forward to spring and summer. It's not a car you want as an only driver as it doesn't have any cargo room really. I took the spare tire out so I can do small grocery shopping trips. This is my fun car. I still keep my Dodge Intrepid for road trips and bigger shopping trips. I'm happy with my little car. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun little car to drive. And it's a Toyota so it's very well made.

2008 Toyota Camry Solara review
08 Solara with 89k. Just had the timing belt and related parts swapped out. I don't think it could run any or any better! Toyota is just not playing fair. This car is 16 years old and shoes no signs of slowing down. Just routine maintenance. Don't forget your timing belt!
