The truck handles great, on city streets and the highway. I'm short (5'-4") and I feel comfortable in this truck. Great pickup, low road noise.

Everyone was so kind and helpful! The price was exactly what they advertised with no hidden fees other than the ones they told us up front! We were out the door with my new Nissan Rogue in less than an hour! I would highly recommend this dealership! And as a bonus, they had a nice playroom with great toys that entertained my 2 year old grandson the entire time! Well done Gates Nissan!
2025 Honda Ridgeline review
I love that it’s American made right in Alabama. I don’t miss having a full size truck since this gives me great interior space! I looked at a Tacoma, but the Tacoma’s interior is crammed in comparison. As an added bonus, I am getting 26 mpg highway and a V6! It see a lot of old Ridgeline’s with over 300k and running great! I’ll have mine for at least that many miles as well.

Missing a few things that could really make it better. Homelink for garage door isn’t offered? Doesn’t come with a receiver type hitch however what does comes with it is almost the same amount of steel. The phone charger doesn’t work quite right and they know it.

Bored and wanted to shop around and get an idea of what type car I’d like to trade for. Kimberly was exceptional. Very knowledgeable. When I’m ready she will definitely be the sales person I want to work with.
2026 Honda Ridgeline review
Ridgeline Black Edition, the top-of-the-line model, is a great light utility vehicle that also makes a great daily driver. As comfortable to drive as a car. Gets good gas mileage for a truck and has many outstanding safety features, which is why I bought it again after owning two. Next year is going to be a major upgrade. The current model does not have all the features of the Honda Pilot, which has the same engine. Upgraded stereo, heated and cooled seats, and a place to charge your phone without connecting with a cable. Electronics are somewhat confusing because they are layered. Really good view out the front and side. Only black interior. Locked trunk in bed. AC outlet in bed. Quick in acceleration, 0-60 in about six seconds if needed. Steering is somewhat heavy and not exactly as precise as my last model. Overall, this is my third, and I keep coming back because it works for me. AWD can tow 5000 lbs. The black edition comes in three colors: Black, White, and Sonic Gray Pearl, which I bought, and many have commented on. Would I buy again or wait till next year when a hybrid comes out? I needed the safety features now, and the first year of a new edition generally is not that reliable.

Great place to deal with great people who deal fairly very friendly nice cars and trucks
2026 Chevrolet Colorado review
I bought a 2025 Chevy Colorado LT about a month ago. I absolutely LOVE it. The ride is very comfortable and more like a car than a truck. I got the 2.7L Turbo engine and so the performance is impeccable. The 360 camera system is WONDERFUL. The auto brake has saved my bacon twice now and I LOVE that. At first was not crazy about the "Sunrise Orange" but have really grown to like it. There are a couple of things that are "inconvenient": 1) putting a trailer hitch on it is quite pricy ($600) because you have to remove the bumper to install it, it's a truck, fit it stock with a receiver, 2) the rear window is manual (maybe I got a lower model but can't really use it by myself. These are all minor to me and I would recommend it as highly as you can possibly recommend it.

Chris Young was our salesperson and he was absolutely the best by far that we've ever had. So helpful and knowledgeable. He knew the differences in the models of the CRVs like the back of his hand. He treated us so well and made our car buying experience very pleasurable.
2017 Honda Ridgeline review
The Ridgeline is a super practical vehicle. I have the E so I love the storage in the bed area as well as as full electric. at 80,000 miles, I started having an issue with the stereo system with a crack rolling and popping first it would go away while driving. I’d have to stop the vehicle turn it off and then restart it and the radio would start playing.

2022 Chevrolet Colorado review
I bought my Colorado in December 2022. I want planning on a midsized truck but after the test drive I was impressed. The room is enough for 4 adults comfortably. I have 7500 miles on it and have recommended to several family members. My is a 2wheel drive crew about with locking rear differential. The only thatI have problem with is the tires it came with. Goodyear Wranglers, it needs taller tires and wider.

Toyota SouthReviews
Toyota South review
I recently purchased a 2019 4Runner from Toyota South. It's been 16 years since I've bought a vehicle and, I must say, the entire experience was the best I've ever had. Chase Freeman was outstanding, as were the whole team I dealt with - Ashley, Clarence, Lex and Tyler. I arrived at 10 am, test drove the vehicle and was pulling out of the parking lot at 11 am with my new car! If you are in the market for a car or truck, I highly recommend Chase and Toyota South for your next vehicle purchase.

2026 GMC Canyon review
This purchase was a replacement for 2022 Honda Ridgeline. While the Canyon is much stronger when talking about the motor it lacks some the little extra details like cabin and tail gate storage. This truck is a bit less stable on the road when it is windy and it definitely consumes more gas. But overall it is a great mid-level truck, feels strong and looks great

2026 Ford Ranger review
I bought a Ranger Raptor. Incredible pickup, handles more like a tall sport car than a truck. Very comfortable to drive with multiple steering option, shock setting and exhaust note. Fun to drive around town and on super highways. Increasable value for all the options you get.

Velocity Auto Source review
We had a very positive experience with this dealer. The sales staff was friendly and low pressure and understood our needs. Now my 16-year-old daughter has her first car, one that looks good and feels safe, and she went away with a good feeling about the car buying process-- which is rare. I would shop here again.
2018 Chevrolet Colorado review
The 2018 Chevrolet Colorado Z71 Off-Road is one of the most well-rounded midsize trucks on the road. The V6 engine delivers strong, smooth, and linear acceleration with plenty of power on demand—whether merging on the highway, towing, or navigating rough terrain. It feels confident and responsive without being harsh or overworked. This truck is loaded with features that make it just as comfortable as it is capable. The black leather interior is well-appointed and durable, while the Bose premium sound system provides excellent clarity and punch—far better than standard factory audio. Apple CarPlay integration is seamless, making navigation, music, and hands-free calling effortless. The Z71 Off-Road package adds real-world functionality, not just badging. With its upgraded suspension, off-road tuning, and rugged stance, the Colorado handles snow, gravel, and uneven roads with ease while still driving smoothly and quietly on pavement. Overall, the 2018 Colorado Z71 strikes an ideal balance between performance, comfort, and versatility. It’s a truck that feels equally at home as a daily driver, workhorse, or weekend adventure vehicle—and it does all of it with style and confidence.

2022 Chevrolet Colorado review
I have a gas ZR2 in blue, and it is my dream truck. The build quality is so good on these! The doors shut with a solid thud, the intuitiveness of the interior...it was the best truck available in 2022. I got mine before the '23 models and I am so very glad I did. I looked at all available mid-sized trucks, Jeeps, Tacos, Nissan, etc...none felt as solid as the ZR2. Almost two years now, and coming up on 25k. Oil changes and had the tires balanced, did all of the fluids at 5k. You have to allow for Chevy Quirkiness, and you'll love it. The A/C can be weird.
