Select Eurocars review
I had great experience purchasing my most recent car from Select Eurocars. He threw in brand new tires, was very reasonable on the price, and he was able to get all the paperwork cleared for my financing, insurance, title, and registration in just a few hours - so I could drive off with the car, same day!
2015 Volkswagen Beetle review
Best vehicle that I have ever owned, great mileage, reliable, has that inimitable distinct VW design, doesn't look like every other car on the road. Considering the VW Bus when it comes out in the fall of 2024!

Solid for a convertible. Goes surprisingly well in the snow and with the seats down can haul stuff. I have this as my only car and it is actually very practical. Plus, it’s just a joy to drive.

My sales professional Michael D'Angelo was very helpful and courteous. He took his time explaining everything and I'm very happy with the deal and car. Highly recommend.
2018 Volkswagen Beetle review
This Beetle was my car that I traded in recently for a new Tiguan. The car was excellent, and always reliable. We wanted to own one of the last Beetles made, and glad that we purchased it from Mt. Prospect VW (AutoBarn) four years ago. Whoever purchases this bug, is getting a great car, and we will miss it!

Impex Chevrolet GMC review
Absolutely the best dealer hands down. I have bought at least 6 cars from Impex and every single time they exceeded my expectations. I can’t say enough good things.
2017 Volkswagen Beetle review
This car combines the best of the GTI with the looks of a rally car. Some Bugs are boring, but this one has the Dune trim package - turbo, fin on the back, 18-inch alloy wheels, sun roof, Apple Carplay, keyless entry and start, Fender premium sound package, heated seats, backup camera... Fun to drive, plenty of jump (my old car was a GTI - not quite that much jump, but more than enough to zip you through traffic) and a smooth ride.

2015 Volkswagen Eos review
I love convertibles in the summer but they're not fun to drive in the winter. The EOS is two cars in one. It's a convertible that with the push of a button becomes a hard top. Unlike most convertibles, the EOS is also quite practical. It seats 4 and with the top up has a huge trunk. Best of both worlds.

McGinty MotorcarsReviews
McGinty Motorcars review
I move back from Florida to Pa in 2001. Before I left I sold my 1963 Austin Healey 3000 and my 1971 429CJ Torino which I had for 28 years. At one time I had a 1968 MG roadster which was so much fun to drive. At 81 needed to spend some of my 2 step daughter's inheritance. They are waiting like 2 vultures. I was looking for a 60's GTO for a long time. However I remember fuel problems and no longer to need quarter mile runs. Started to look a MG's again. McGinty had one which I passed on then decided to look again. I drove 2 1/2 hours one way to look at it. The staff were excellent and got to talk to the mechanic. This car was a 1980 and had only 56000 plus miles. Pat and his wife are wonderful folks. This car was excellent and I am so happy I bought it. Who ever had the car before took very good car of it. Looking to many years, what I have left, to have some fun. Thanks to all at McGinty motors. Regards Roy Crichton' Everett, pa

McGinty MotorcarsReviews
McGinty Motorcars review
I recently purchased a 1978 Corvette from McGinty Motorcars, and I can honestly say the entire experience exceeded every expectation I had. From the very first conversation to the moment I drove away, their team delivered truly world-class service. What stood out immediately was their deep knowledge and passion for classic cars. They didn’t just “sell” me a Corvette—they walked me through its history, condition, and unique character in a way that showed genuine care and expertise. Every question I had was answered thoroughly and honestly, which gave me total confidence in my purchase. The professionalism and attention to detail were second to none. The car itself was exactly as described—if not better—and clearly had been prepared with pride. The buying process was smooth, transparent, and completely stress-free, which is rare these days. What really sets McGinty Motorcars apart is how they treat their customers. I never felt like just another transaction; they made the entire experience personal and enjoyable. It’s clear they take pride not only in their vehicles, but in building lasting relationships. If you’re in the market for a classic car and want a truly first-class experience, I cannot recommend McGinty Motorcars highly enough. I absolutely love my 1978 Corvette, and I’m grateful I chose to buy it from a team that cares this much about what they do.

2013 Volkswagen Beetle review
I have owned my convertible bug for 10 years. I bought it brand new and have 98k miles on it. I have taken this car for its yearly inspection and oil changes at the dealership and completed all factory recommended service. Believe it or not I have not had to do anything besides buy tires...its on the second set...This car is still on all its original parts breaks, rotors etc...Its insane!!! I love my bug and it has been the best little car I have owned.

2009 Volkswagen New Beetle review
Dad bought this for me used before I left for college. School is about 7 hours away and bug made it with no problems for years. Great car for a younger teen!! Size is inconvenient but at a younger age it is actually a great excuse to not have to be responsible for driving groups of people! Was very very reliable until transmission went out, after that it was toast. I felt like it never ran correctly, it had ABS problems, wouldn't start properly etc. Overall a great car for someone who doesn't need a great car just yet!

Kelly Nissan review
If I could give 100-star review for Tracy, I would!!! I had to get some things done on my Sentra that was covered under warranty, and she provided me a loner car until mine was serviced. She is the BEST and I will only schedule appointments with her. She is what customer service should always be. I have been going here since I bought my first Sentra in 2016 and even though I purchased my new Sentra in Florida I still will only go to Kelly Nissan because of Tracy. Give this woman a nice bonus and raise she definitely deserves it !!! Thank you Tracy

Romeo VW of Kingston review
My salesperson was Z. She was amazing! From the moment I contacted the dealership through their website, it has been nothing but positive. They were extremely friendly and helpful from start to finish. I never once felt pressured to purchase the car. They gave me a great trade in for my car. For all the times I had to deal with a car dealership, this dealership by far was the best. Thank you to Z, Pete, and Anthony for all you did to make this seamless experience. I highly recommend Romeo Volkswagen!
2013 Volkswagen Beetle review
I was initially looking for a used Golf, but the more I looked at the Beetle the more I liked it. When I found the one I ended up buying, it was love at first drive. This little car packs a punch with the 2.0T, and will throw you back in your seat. It’s an absolute blast to drive. Handles well around town and on the interstate, where it could easily get one in trouble since it wants to GO. The same engine as is found in the GTI, so this should be unsurprising. Easily gets 30+mpg on the highway when cruising along, typically around 20-25 city. These cars handle city driving just fine, but they are meant for the freeway in my opinion. I find the interior to be quite luxurious. Heated leather seats (not available in the Golf) with plenty of storage compartments. Not many frills, just a sleek and mostly practical dash. The trunk is big enough for grocery runs, and the rear seats fold forward for larger loads. It’s not going to haul large appliances or furniture, although it could possibly carry some bigger stuff on a roof rack. The Fender audio system is impressive, wouldn’t change a thing about it except it could benefit from an updated head unit with CarPlay. This hasn’t been an issue for me. I think the car is a real looker, it turns heads and has drawn the occasional compliment. My used model had some imperfections, but it’s still a great looking car that I want to look after and keep for as long as I can. It feels well built, the doors close with the satisfying weighty thud of a premium vehicle. Overall, I am very happy with my 2013 beetle. It’s not only fun, but it seems to be reliable with a couple caveats that some owners might not be aware of. The 2.0T engine is designed for premium fuel, using regular will eventually damage it. The 2.5 can run regular, but I believe the 1.8T will also want premium. The reason for this is lower octane fuel will cause detonation in these high compression engines. If you don’t know what detonation is, just know it’s bad. The oil needs changed more regularly than the manufacturer recommended 10k miles. 5k to be safe, 7k at a stretch. This is especially true for higher mileage vehicles. Speaking of stretch, there is a known issue with some 2.0T engines where the timing chain stretches over time and many miles, so if buying used that’s something I’d have a mechanic check out. This is an expensive maintenance item, but IF it’s needed, getting it done along with the tensioner and a new water pump for good measure will ensure that the new to you Beetle is reliable for many years and miles to come. The other issue is carbon build up. Getting it cleaned out is not as spendy as the timing chain but it’s also not a cheap fix. I believe this can largely be avoided by using top tier fuel (it contains detergents that help with this) as well as regular oil changes and some regular spirited driving. Would not recommend this car to someone who mainly does town or city driving, the 2.5 engine might be better suited for that. According to my research, the 2.5 is quite bulletproof BUT it’s not good for any engine to be driven at low RPM all the time.

I traded in my Buick Enclave for a VW Beetle over 6 years ago and have loved it nearly every day. The Turbo engine is fantastic. It's been a great little car. The only complaint is that it's not great (at all!) in the snow. Other than that, two thumbs up.
