2016 Volkswagen Tiguan review
Best car I’ve ever owned. I bought it used with 10k miles for $17.5k in 2018. I’ve drove for Lyft for 2 years and recently drove it from California to South Carolina. It’s has never broke down, had to replace the tires a few times but nothing but basic maintenance. I’m at 112k miles and going strong. One small accident the other 2 cars were totaled mine had minor damage on the front driver side. I love my VW.

I am 77 years old and a Vietnam Era Veteran, I had a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck that I used in my business until I retired and still drove it after that until it got to a point where it just wasn't feasible to repair it anymore so I scrapped it, since I am retired I don't really drive that much anymore and I used Lyft services and my wife's car to occasionally get here and there. But my wife works part time and needs the car about 4 days a week. Then I decided I wanted to get myself another vehicle, not necessarily a new one but a recent late model, but then the ordeal of deciding what I wanted to get started. Did I want a small car a big car a truck, and SUV and if an SUV which one? Since I am a veteran I use the VA Health Care Center in Providence and I am provided Lyft services to and from the hospital for checkups and what have you. During my car search time I happened to have an appointment at the VA and when I called Lyft services to schedule a ride they sent over a beautiful Honda Pilot which I rode in and was very impressed with, and as luck would have it, when I was through with my appointment and called for another ride, Lyft sent ANOTHER Honda Pilot to take me home and I was very impressed with that vehicle as well. I searched for Honda Pilot vehicles online and came across a beautiful looking 2020 EX model, it was burgundy, loaded with a lot of features, had very low mileage, and was very reasonably priced. It was for sale at Grieco Honda on Hartford avenue in Johnston. As a lot of people , are I was a little hesitant about going into a car dealership having heard stories about various bad experiences some people have had with some. When I went into Grieco Honda I was introduced to a young man named Chris Matarese who was a very pleasant individual. He brought the vehicle around for us to go for a test drive, was extremely polite, very intelligent and exceptionally knowledgeable about the vehicle, answering all of my questions in an instant. After a brief time of asking my "20 questions" about the vehicle and financing I decided to buy the 2020 Honda Pilot. Since the vehicle had just been taken in trade it had not been inspected by the service department as yet, and Chris had the vehicle taken in immediately to have it inspected, the service manager noted that the driver side sun visor was not functioning properly and hung a little bit low having apparently been sprung over time, and it was decided that Grieco would put a new visor in for me which I thought was a very nice gesture. So to end this story, I've had the vehicle now for a little over 2 months and I cannot be happier with it and also with the excellent and outstanding service and courtesy which was extended to me by Chris Matarese, you will find him exceptionally honest, devoutly professional, and eager to earn your business. The services provided by Grieco Honda including sales, financing, and the service department were all excellent in quality, if you're looking for a vehicle go to Grieco Honda on Hartford Avenue in Johnston and ask for Chris you will not be disappointed I can assure you. Tiguan like most VWs show their superior stability and control in bad weather, cornering and higher speed. That is compared with my other car (Crosstrek).

2021 Volkswagen Tiguan review
I have a 2021 Tiguan SE 4 Motion, I have the car for over a year and with 11,000 miles. I give this car a general 4 stars. It’s a great car, very stable, great MPG, the air condition is very cold, road noise is very minimal, great driving view. Very comfortable to everyone except the driver seat, the middle armrest is low and further to the back, the door armrest is low, I have to drive with 2 small billows on long road trips. All other seats are very comfortable. The 3rd. Row is very very tight. The interior dash design is outdated, there is NO end call button on the steering wheel. Performance is good but 30-40 more horse power will definitely makes a difference. Value for money is great, but not for a resale! If you are planning to keep a car for a long time buy it. Exterior design I love it. Reliability, with less than 200 mile I had a cruise control fault, took it to the dealer it was fixed for over $1,000 but it was under warranty, two months later the problem came back again. At 8000 miles I had an engine light, EPC light (electronic power control system) something to do with the engine, and the car lost power, I took it to the dealer and there was a misfire on engine cylinder number 3. I still love my car, I would buy it again, and I hope that it will last for 10 years minimum.

2018 Volkswagen Tiguan review
Going on 3 years with my 2018 Tiguan. Last year heading to Pheonix from Northern AZ in middle of nowhere lost power and could only go 25mph. Stopped and waited for tow. Took it to VW dealer they fixed it free on a recall. Only problem so far kept garage and maintained. Only minor gripe is the light weight 0 20 oil is hard to read on dipstick..consistency of water. Runs well plenty of power for this old guy.

2017 Volkswagen Tiguan review
My door handle on my hatchback has been repaired and replaced two times and now is gone again. It is a 2017 Wolfsburg and I am not pleased with the cost of 1200. I wouldn’t mind but they are only lasting two years. Ridiculous. Can’ use my hatchback.

2019 Volkswagen Atlas review
This is my 2nd VW. My 1st was a 02 passat I bought in 2013. It was the most reliable car I ever owned. It has 230000 miles and still runs great! This Atlas takes things to a whole different level. The look, performance and features are world-class! The only knock I would have is the mpg is average at best. Only 20mpg on average. But overall it is a great vehicle for the price. The SEL trim is fully loaded. Whatever feature you could imagine, it has it. I hope to enjoy this vehicle for years to come.

2023 Volkswagen Jetta review
The 2023 Jetta S and Jetta Sport are just about the best value you can find in a new car these days. Sure, you can buy a Hyundai or a Kia for a little less, but the Jetta is so much more car. I know from experience. I test drove the 2023 Kia Forte, Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic, and Toyota Corolla. And the Jetta stood out with a level of quality that those other cars just didn't seem to have. If you need the latest technology, and a huge touchscreen, buy one of those other cars. The Jetta has a smaller screen. But I like that the Jetta still have knobs and buttons for the A/C and basic radio controls. The Jetta is also offered without driver assist features if you want to save some money. I bought my 2023 Jetta Sport without lane keep assist and all those extra features I don't like, because I pay attention when I drive. This knocked off a nice bit of money. After driving all those new cars, the Jetta had room where I needed it, comfort, and a level of quality I just didn't feel in the other cars, so I bought it. And I am very happy with my purchase.

2019 Volkswagen Jetta review
So my Habenero orange R Line is named Princess... she is quick when she needs to be, and eco mode is there for when she doesn't. Gas mileage is fantastic either way. She is so responsive, the handling on her is top notch. I've put a LOT of miles on her, I think upwards of 50k without a single mechanical failure. A few accidents, the front collision sensor is a pain to replace but I like in a bumper car city, unfortunately.

The 2015 Honda pilot I purchased had its blemishes which was too be expected, and all Ernie would say when I pointed something out was “Oh. no problem we will take care of that!” Not that I haven’t heard this before but they did take care of EVERYTHING, This vehicle looked brand new when they were done with it! 2019 Volkswagen Jetta review
I purchased my 2019 Jetta R-Line brand new with 27 miles on the odometer in June of 2020. As of this review I have owned the vehicle nearly 5 years. My car now has 57,000 miles on it. I have never experienced any mechanical failures. The vehicle still has the factory battery, brake pads, and rotors. I have only replaced the tires and cabin air filter. Aside from that, routine maintenance including oil changes every 7,500 miles (despite VW calling for 10k interval), and flushing the coolant and brake fluids around 50k miles. My car is comfortable albeit a little small for a man of my stature. It's excellent on gas and handles like a dream. I have gotten compliments on it's looks since day one. The cold weather package is excellent and essential up here in the northeast. I paid 20k for the car brand new and its proven to be an excellent value. My only complaints, the stock sound system is not horrible but it's not great. Also, the driver seat is beginning to have cracks in the leather. I'm very satisfied with this vehicle. I hope this one lasts a while but I will check out VW first for my next vehicle purchase.

2022 Volkswagen Taos review
I bought the 22 model in Apr of 22 and had it about a year and the ac compressor went out. It took them a couple of months to get one and when they did they found that it had metal shavings all in the lines so they had to replace everything in the circuit. They gave us a loaner car for two weeks and so far it’s been working fine. Have had a couple of software updates so far but no other issues. Have just turned 10,000 miles. The transmission is jerky so I basically drive it around in sport mode to keep it from dropping into the highway gear. Overall we like it

2018 Volkswagen Golf R review
I've owned this vehicle 2019-2023 (and counting). I'm 70yrs old and can say this is the best car I've ever owned. Performance, comfort and styling are 5.0. Most in my age group don't understand the Golf R until they get to drive it.

2013 Volkswagen CC review
Hey my guy I can tell you exactly what's wrong with it and the oil pump isn't it. It's 1 or 2 problems and those are going to be either your balance shafts have worn out and seized up or you intake cam phaser has worn out. But being it's not starting anymore I'm willing to bet money it's your balance shafts. Had the same problem with my 2.0T "Red Warning Oil pressure shut engine off light"

2013 Volkswagen Touareg review
This SUV is amazing. It is fully loaded and the panoramic sunroof was the WOW factor that sold me. It rides so smoothly that even Ohio highways seem seamless. I’m still learning my way around the touchscreen computer and I’ll definitely need the manual to direct me because there is more to it than I am used to. Overall it is the pure luxury we were looking for since we are getting older.

2020 Volkswagen Jetta review
I've owned VW's off and on for years. My first Jetta was purchased in the 90's. Good car. It was nimble, comfortable and had really good gas mileage. It was different from the "Bug" and "Bus" but quite pleasing to own and look at. My current Jetta is a 2020 model year and I enjoy its looks, comfort, mileage and nimbleness. Volkswagens are truly the "peoples car".

I just purchased a new full EV Toyota bZ XLE from this local dealership. My salesman there was Howard Cullen. While I’ve driven Teslas since 2017 I’ve been able to avoid the typically unpleasant experience of being tagged-teamed by sales staff in an auto dealership — the “showroom shuffle”. I’ve also been able to pay cash and avoid car loans for the last 35 years. That being said, my initial reaction to being handed off to Howard by other sales staff was classic “disgruntled customer” mode; a bit hostile. However, we got past that and Howard was great in working with me to get me a very attractive price on a quality vehicle. Another issue that I had going into this transaction was encountering showroom sales staff who usually know little to nothing about EVs. Howard admitted to his limited experience upfront, so we learned about this car together. I appreciated that he understood my concerns and worked hard to gain my trust, answers to my product questions and minimize the amount of hassle factor that it took to make this purchase – which included my first car loan in 35 years (a few $K additional incentive for taking a Toyota 0% interest 3-year loan was hard to resist.) Prior to switching to Teslas (a very high-quality automobile) I had owned 6 Toyotas (Camrys and a Tacoma) over 25 years; and I would argue that this is hands-down the best car company in the world. Howard has been selling Toyotas for 17 years and shares my commitment to this product. I wouldn’t hesitate to refer family and friends to him for their next vehicle purchase — especially as I know that he will know alot more about these EVs for the next customer who comes looking for one.

2016 Volkswagen Beetle review
I traded in my Buick Enclave for a VW Beetle over 6 years ago and have loved it nearly every day. The Turbo engine is fantastic. It's been a great little car. The only complaint is that it's not great (at all!) in the snow. Other than that, two thumbs up.
