2024 Volvo XC90 review
On September 18, 2023, I purchased a new 2024 Volvo and am happy that I chose to do business with Patrick Volvo in Schaumburg, Illinois. Shortly after my arrival at Patrick, I was very lucky that I was courteously approached by Belen Amador, my Client Advisor. Because she was not pushy (I appreciated that very much), I chose to accept Belen’s assistance throughout the buying process. He took extra care to keep the buying process safe during the covid pandemic. It takes a lot to impress me, and Jeremy did just that. There are 10 Toyota dealers closer to my home than Team Toyota of Glen Mills. They made it worth the trip.
2016 Volvo XC90 review
Great awesome cars in every aspect, comfort, performance, handling, smoothness, features, reliability (not in some models though) and especially safety. You get the best bang for your buck in Volvos. Only thing I would say is to stay away from the XC90 T6 (petrol engines) from 2015 - 2016. (Not sure if 2017 has these problems, as I havnt experienced anything from the 2017 models) I sell many of these Volvos But the petrol XC90s T6 from 2015 - 2016 are very unreliable because of being the first year of these models when they first came out. Had many experiences with failing superchargers ($4k to fix ) evaporator failing ($5k to fix) and also these engines have a known fault that the pistons don’t inbed in properly in some of the engines and it burns massive amount of oil. (Did a test in a customers car, was burning about 2L of oil every 1000km) Also comes with a few hiccups here and there with coolant leaks, and oil leaks etc. I’ve never had a problem with the XC90 D5 (diesel engines) as they seems much better because they don’t have the engines failing or a supercharger in these models. This have the failing evaporator but this item was the least part failing out of everything I mentioned. I hope this information has helped out some people who are deciding to purchase a Volvo 😊

2023 Volvo XC90 review
Never had any major problems with the car. Mostly software problems but they were quickly fixed with a restart/reset of the system. The ride is bery comfortable and on long drives a pleasure to sit it. The place this car has is huge and every passenger has largly enough space. The car is slightly underpowered for such a heavy tank (only 235PS) but is still enough to have a comfortable ride (low RPMs) on the highway. I average 37-33mpg which gives me about 700 miles of range and if you’re not in a hurry and drive about 50-60mph you can even go up to 900 miles on the highway (I drive the mild-hybrid). I feel also safe driving it, thanks to all the assistants it has and the safety-history.

2022 Volvo XC60 review
Great car. I compare it with a high-end Mercedes that I own, Volvo is generally better built, more comfortable especially on extra long trips, quieter on the road, and intuitive in most use cases. The Bowers and Wilkins sound system is definitely superior to anything I’ve heard in high-end vehicles. The interior design is minimalistic, and the car lacks the prestige that comes with the price. From a reliability stand point, it has never put us down, and has almost completely overcome the early Goole system glitches.

2026 Volvo EX30 review
Ultra Trim No more gasoline for me. This car is extremely fast and nimble. It's small and that's a plus in city streets It is VERY quiet and the Harman Kardon sound system is very nice. There is a learning curve with this car and as I get more used to the system, the more fun this car becomes. I am using level 1 charging so I just plug into a standard 115V outlet and that is plenty sufficient for me.

2023 Volvo XC40 review
This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.

2023 Volvo XC90 Recharge Plug-In Hybrid review
This is a beautiful car. Our car is the mid level. Not totally sure it is as luxurious as it's price point. Drives and feels very nice. Feels nimble and safe. Visibility all around is great. Safety features such as the pacing cruise control and lane management are excellent. The gage cluster is minimal with a lot of empty space where they should have put a real fuel gage, not the miniscule 4 dashes that go unlit as the fuel is used. The car has no written user manual. It relies on a very limited one on board which cannot be accessed when the car is moving. Hybrid system is not immediately understood how to make it perform well. Bu once you solve that puzzle it is really good. We found a complete 900 page one on line that goes into the detail we wanted. Also the on board one does not have an index so you get to hunt and guess to find what topic your question is under. This was a major frustration for us. The back seats are very firm, which was surprising at this price point. That is why I knocked the comfort level down. Front seats are wonderful. Lots of rear leg room though. There is a lot of room behind the second row seats when the 3rd row is down, and this suits our travel cargo needs very well. 360 camera is excellent. Fit and finish is superb. The turn signal stalk has too many functions such as head light control. A switch on the dash would be much better easily showing which mode the headlights are in. The various functions are not as intuitive to control or find. There is a learning curve, not a difficult curve, but just jumping into drive it might be the wrong approach. 2023 Volvo XC60 review
I'm a 18 year loyal Toyota SUV guy and I switched to a new XC60. Lovering Volvo in Nashua were great. Sales Mgr Dan was fantastic. No pressure. This is the nicest & most comfortable car I've owned. Fun to drive & easy on gas. Too new to comment on reliability but its safety systems are impressive. Sound system is next level too. I would highly recommend.

2017 Volvo XC90 review
I loved my XC90 but traded it due to the cost of fuel. I drive 40 miles a day roundtrip to work. I would easily go through a tank of gas in four days. Best mileage I ever got was about 22 highway. The XC90 is a heavy SUV and shaped like a block. Not a lot of aerodynamics. As for comfort and luxury you can't go wrong the XC 90 is pure luxury and has great pickup and handling. Just be aware the mileage is not good.

2022 Volvo XC60 review
This is my first Volvo and although it took a while to get familiar with the controls, I love it! The side and rearview mirrors, warning sounds and lights have taken care of blind spots that are usual in a larger SUV, and have prevented accidents. The ride is still so smooth after 3 years, I can easily read a book on long trips. The front and rear seat adjustments allow everyone to be comfortable. We are glad for the bumper to bumper 5 year coverage we bought at purchase, and they immediately fixed any minor problems we've had over the last 3 years.

2023 Volvo XC60 review
Love this suv however when driving just a half hour the dash screen went black with a message “infotainment system cooling” restarted the car but no change. This had to be a recall but can’t find any info. Poor quality in an expensive car. Service department at dealer won’t answer their phone. Hoping they will call back
