2019 Ford Transit Connect review
My biggest peeve is the tailgate isn’t powered. Ordered the top of the line mr Model sight unseen because my dealership didn’t carry them. I wanted all the bells and whistles. Powered lift gate isn’t an option. It is painful to my injured spine to lift it and manually move the rear seats. The grandkids love the 3rd seat and I love the storage space behind it. I have made a Sam’s run for the month and able to pack everything behind the 3rd seat. The inside is great for human comfort but not for shopping or I should say storing packages. To be honest, my front seats are ALL THE WAY back. I have plenty of room and that’s a lot. I don’t like being close to the steering wheel in case of an accident. I wish the slots for charging my devices weren’t so close to the driver’s cup holder. It’s too easy for liquids to Spill in them. The only other item I wish was different is I miss a hard copy manual. There are options I still don’t know how to use. My GPS is not updated because of that. I like the van. My grandkids and dogs like it. Tomorrow I will get up, remove the two blankets I have protecting them floors and spend hours vacuuming the dog hair out the fabric on the back of the seats and floors. I have leather seats but there’s still Too much surface that holds onto my Husky’s and Belgian Shepherd’s ‘Glitter’. I do have to double check my doors are locked when I leave them in the car with the AC running. I have to use the remote because the double tap of the horn alert is deceiving. It doesn’t mean the door is locked. I do appreciate how easy it is to unlock the car without having the remote in my hand. All in all, it served the reasons I purchased it. I do wish I had paid the extra money for the Sprinter. But it would not have fit in my garage nor my budget.

2018 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack review

2019 Chevrolet Bolt EV review
I've had my 2019 Bolt Premier for a month now and it's really a clever little vehicle. Nimble and fun to drive with lots of room (can fit two mt bikes in the back). Coming from a VW GTI I expected the Bolt to be a substantial step down, but it's not. Granted the GTI is leagues ahead in both interior and exterior build quality, but the Bolt is no slouch in terms of what a fun-sized EV hatch should be. With a low center of gravity, loads of "O" torque and a decent suspension, the Bolt doesn't embarrass itself while performing it's appointed tasks around town. Sure, the steering could benefit from taking a communications class and the brakes are less than linier but the single pedal driving dynamic is outstanding (I could seriously go on for a while regarding how intuitive the one pedal regen system is on the Bolt, kudos to GM for their work on this feature). The rest of the gripes about the Bolt (plastic interior, uncomfortable front seats, low res screens, odd styling) I think miss the mark regarding the sum of it's parts. At the end of the day, does the Bolt deliver a satisfying experience and leave you with a smile? Absolutely!

2016 Volvo XC70 review
On my third XC70 - 2016 T5 AWD purchased with 165K mi. Previous ones were 2010 3.2 and a 2007 (the BEST wagon they ever made). Overall it has been a pretty reliable vehicle but I watch the oil consumption like a hawk due to the piston ring problem. Consistently get 26+ mpg on highways. With 185K on it so far it's been pretty good. Expect to get 200K plus out of it.

Usually you get the overly sales pitched, on top of you, annoying and usually somewhat dishonest sales person at a car dealership, not at Rusty's! You will be treated like family! Offered, drinks, snacks, a play area for kids and down right honest conversations, where you know you get a fair trade, and a quality vehicle at a price you can achieve! Brandon did nothing but process this deal quickly (which I appreciated with two young kids under five and the hubby not with me that day), honestly and openly tell me about pricing and financing options, offered us a great vehicle and made it an easy process! He even has the best marketing, leaving you lots of his fun stickers so you know who to call and who to refer, which I have been doing since buying from Brandon at Rusty's! Our finance associate was also FANTASTIC! He was quick and kind in explaining details and options and made the process easy too! To top it off, during that time, they offered our family a trip to their "candy store and ice cream" at the dealership, helping to keep my kiddos and myself happy during a process that does take a little time. After finishing things up we were gifted a nice wine bottle and some more of Brandon's personal goodies (snow scrapper, car koozies, etc.)! I have never felt more VIP at a dealership! I wish we lived closer so I could service all my vehicles through this dealership. It's really like none other! You'll need to find my guy Brandon because he's the BEST! 2017 Toyota Prius v review
I have owned a 2014 and a 2016. Both have been excellent cars and both have been totaled in a rear ending accident. I feel safe in this vehicle and drive back and forth from FL to ME for the summer and need a car I trust and feel comfortable in.
