Easy purchase, kind staff, minor issues

All of the staff were easy to work with. I felt very little pressure during the entire process. I test drove and completed the vehicle purchase before repairs and it being cleaned. The repairs were completed but the detailing left much to be desired. If you purchase a car before it is detailed, be specific about the cleaning in your paperwork. It will save you a couple hours of cleaning yourself.

2012 Ford Escape

Since our Escape is very low mileage, . about 5k yearly, it was due for the ?Works?. They always do a through job and we are confident we are good until next year!

The facilities could use a upgrade. The customer service area is very small , as well as the waiting area. The mechanic area is indeed of a upgrade. The vehicle lot is not customer friendly.

Typically I am thrilled with service at Gillis. This past week I was asked to bring my car in on Sunday and they did not even look at it until Tuesday pm. 2 of my questions could have been handled as a courtesy but I was charged for both at the cost of $230.


Great service at Gillis

I had an appointment for a scheduled vehicle repair. As I entered the building, I notice the environment was Covid safe. Personnel were welcoming, courteous, and professional. My vehicle was service on time and in a professional manner. I noticed the technician had covered the seat with plastic so he would not get anything dirty. My vehicle was returned with washed and ready to go.

I have bought two automobiles from Gillis Auto Center. I have also used there service center for all service to my vehicles. They are a great place to do business with.

Randy was absolutely amazing. He answered all of my questions and calmed my worries that come with buying a car.

Highway robbery

Lost my key and it had to be replaced by the dealer. I took my car in and left it there. ( had a couple days off). 1st call for an update " cant get through on the website for the code" . waited couple more days was told " code isn't working". 3rd call " were waiting on an engineer to find out why its not working" by now my car has been there 2.5 weeks. 4th call " were waiting an a part we burned up while trying to get the key to work, 1-2 weeks". They had my car for roughly 4 weeks. They charged me for the part they broke 800 plus dollars to get my car.
