While traveling through Wharton heading to Galveston for a cruise, I had a auto accident. It was outside of city limits and the sheriffs department arrived to work accident. My car was totaled. There were no car rentals open. Sheriffs department was not helpful as they just said they could drop us off a truck stop. At the truck stop with our luggage we made many a call for assistance, no luck. A worker at the truck stop told us of a dealer ship in town who might have rentals. That dealership was Don Elliot autoworld. Once called they unfortunately didn't rent cars. I then asked him if he had a car fore sale and if so could it be completed within a couple of hours so that we could catch our cruise ship in Galveston. He advised no problem, sent a driver to pick us up with our luggage. Once there we met manager Brandon who did as he promised, the paperwork was done quickly and we made it to the cruise ship. My wife and I would like to thank all of the people we met there for their friendliness and help. I highly recommend this dealership. Ron Geddes

Guys and galls, we know nobody is perfect nor is any dealership BUT the crew at Don Elliott Autnoworld are pretty darn close! I would give them a million stars if I could. Hands down the best dealership experience i’ve ever had. The fact that they’re super friendly and easy to talk to helps tremendously when buying a car, new or used. I drove 2 and half hours to get there, BUT it was well worth it and Im glad I did. I extremely recommend small town dealers like this one and they just may be the best one out there. Thanks for the awesome car and awesome car buying experience :)
Use someone else
They will fight you tooth and nail on trying to get warranty to work done. I will file be filing a complaint with Dodge Customer Service.
This is the dealer, Don Elliott, and I take great exception to Mr. Karasek's negative review of our dealership and the service he received. I was not in the dealership when he came in but was made aware of his visit immediately after he left. My service manager, Theresa, was trying to assist him, however, she informed him that she could not do anything until she received approval from the factory. He purchased his RAM truck used from another dealer. The RAMBox was damaged ... not a factory defect and he was insisting that it be covered under warranty. He became so loud and threatening that from 100 feet away my general sales manager heard the exchange and thought it necessary to walk back and see what was happening. Mr. Karasek is a deputy with the Fort Bend Sheriff's Department and was wearing his handgun. He left and immediately got on several sites to give us a bad review. Now here's the funny part ... Several days ago he brought his truck back to our service department for a water leak in his rear window and wanted us to order the parts and fix it. My service manager asked me what she should do? I guess the first question that came to my mind was why in the heck would come back to a place where he was so dissatisfied and had been treated so badly. That's when I called Officer Karasek. During that call he denied being loud and threatening during his first visit. I finally suggested to him that perhaps another dealership would be more appropriate to handle his business. Mr. Karasek is the fourth person in my almost 43 years as a dealer to whom I have suggested they do business elsewhere. Finally, I don't know of another service manager that goes the extra mile trying to accomodate a customer's needs like Theresa.

Service writer gave over and above service to this traveler. Never met before. Week and half out on work but took time to see if they could get me back on the road. Gave me option and friendly advice. Highly recommend.
Ive been in the market for a Truck for some time now. I have been trying to find a dealership that could handle doing most of the business over the phone or online as I have an extremely busy life. This dealership is awesome they gave me all the information needed quick,pricing, and an agent was on the phone with me immediately answering all my questions.
Repair while traveling
My wife and I pulled out of a restaurant and the check engine light came on. We chugged around a corner and pulled into Don Elliott Dealership in Wharton, Tx. Talked to Chris at the service desk and told her we had to be at a 50 year class reunion , an hour away, that started at 5 pm. She was able to have the check engine light read and the mechanic said he could repair it immediately. We were on our way in 2 hours. Chris and staff saved our day and weekend. This is the second time I’ve done business with them and it was an overall great experience just like the first time. I recommend to anyone that is looking to buy a vehicle, go to Don Elliott in Wharton.

This dealership is amazing! My husband and I have bought 3 cars from here and have not been disappointed. That’s why I remain buying from here! I bought my very first car from here with little credit history and Jonny made sure I got approved and payment I could afford. He works with you very well and has gone out of his way every single time to make sure I leave that place happy every time I go and does it with great energy! My recent time going was 2 weeks ago and I told him what Jeep I wanted and what payment amount I wanted to stay at and he worked his magic and I walked out being an owner of a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a payment I could afford. I definitely recommend this dealership and to go to Jonny, you will not be disappointed.

Don Elliot Autoworld was the best car buying experience I've ever had. I drove an hour and a half from Kingwood to look at a used car that had been sold 10 minutes before I arrived, but I ended up leaving with a brand new vehicle instead. Johnny, Justin and Ronnie were all so awesome and did everything they could to get me the best deal on the exact vehicle I wanted. I was very hesitant at first to try for another new vehicle, especially after already getting the run around from another dealership, but all three of them made it happen, and I could not be happier! I would definitely make the hour and a half drive again! Thanks so much guys for all your help!!

Bought a used vehicle here. Has been in the shop 3 times in the 3 weeks that we have had it. The guy above all the salesman is so rude and made every experience feel like it was our fault and talked down to us. He got called out on his crooked lies at the end of it. We will NEVER do business with them again. I feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with the guy. One guy ruined it all. Oh and the rental they set us up for? Closes before we can even get there.
