Headed in for a quick oil change and they got me in and out. I always go there from work. Well worth the extra 10 minute drive. Everyone is friendly and... I know what's going on upfront. Thank you!!!
I have been taking my wifes 2012 Mazda 6 there since December of last year for a headlight issue. They simply put a new bulb in and its all good "we dont... see a problem." 10 bulbs later and 4 visits to dealership and they still haven't fixed the problem. Every Mazda forum states this is an issue with these cars. Mazda refuses to recognize it and recall it because it will cost them $$$. My wife scheduled an appointment and drove an hour to sit there for 3 hours to be told they don't have enough techs so they can't look at it that day. Then she has to come back 2 weeks later, sit there all day, and leave with a $157.67 bill to change a headlight bulb. I've called and tried to reason with them that they haven't fixed the car. And now the light is out again. "bring it back, we will run more tests, charge you more money." And to top it off, the service advisor tells me to put LED bulbs in as that's what he did for another customer and also his own vehicle and he ordered them off amazon because they don't carry them there. When asked why he didn't tell us that to begin with he had no answer other than we have to "follow a path"' aka soak the customer for as much as you can. They refuse to make things right even after wasting our time. Imagine if I had them come sit for appt. all day to be told to go home as I dont have people to cover your appt. would you come back? would you give them more of your hard earned money? Not me. I know how to change a light bulb and have done so many times on this car alone. They took advantage of my wifes lack of knowledge on subject. Also spoke to me as if I didin't understand how lights work. Told her "its fixed". now wont stand behind it. I will make sure to let everyone know about our experience there.
I called needing to have service right away and Tyler fit me in on the same day without hesitation. No questions asked. That's what you call good customer... service!
Thank you for taking the time to write a great review! Glad that we could help you! Ontario Mazda.
Passion with honesty, drives facts without hidden surprises, in this business (priceless), team IS legit, trusted and recommended, 5 deals in the books... no issues!
Thank you for the wonderful review and for being an Ontario Mazda customer!!
Purchased a Mazda 3 and had a fantastic experience with the service and help. The salesman were very cooperative and created a great affordable deal for... me. Service is highly efficient when it comes to helping and giving guidance for the maintnece on my vehicle. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to a new/or used vehicle that is affordable. Previously visited two other Mazda dealerships and this had been my best experience.
Thank you for the wonderful review and thank you for being an Ontario Mazda customer!
PLEASE DO NOT BUY OR LEASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! They lied from the moment I entered the door. Before I gave them a deposit I explicitly asked if the deposit... was refundable, and their answer, "it absolutely is 100% refundable!" In less than 16 hours I called to let them know I had changed my mind. Now, they refuse to refund the money. The money may seem inconsequential to some but it means a good deal to me. Dan Richards is the owner and it's incredibly sad that he runs his businesses with such questionable practices. I implore you to stay clear of this dealership.
Hello Barbara, A month and a half ago, you came into our dealership and did leave a $100 deposit for the vehicle. You also agreed to purchase the ve...hicle and set up a time for delivery the next day. We paid to have the vehicle cleaned and inspected for delivery. Your vehicle was ready to go that day, you agreed to, but you never showed up the day of delivery or called to say you weren't coming in or didn't want the vehicle anymore. Our staff had attempted to contact you numerous times and we didn't receive any communication back from you.
Was a very poor experience after trying to resolve an issue with Joe. He wouldn't even budge to sell me my old car back at any price after being unhappy... with new purchase. It's a shame that people like this have no consideration for anybody but themselves and that he would toss aside his customer. Buyers beware!
This was our fourth lease transaction with Ontario Mazda. And our fourth easy transaction. The experience was, as always, very friendly and easy. We'll... be back !
In the age of information transparency, anyone who tries to sell you something based on a knowledge inequality puts you, the buyer, at a disadvantage.... Unlike new vehicles, where a new car from Dealer A is going to be identical to a new car from Dealer B and there's not much dealers can do to differentiate themselves, finding a used car that fits your criteria, being treated well by the dealership, and paying a fair price for it is not always an easy feat. After an exhausting several week long search for a lightly used midsize SUV, having driven over half a dozen different makes and models and visiting as many dealerships in the greater Rochester area, we ended up by chance at Ontario Mazda to look at a used CX-9. By dumb luck, we found the exact car we wanted, with the color, trim, mileage, fit and finish, and for a price we were willing to pay. What sealed the deal for us were two things. The first was simple. The car was not being advertised as a Mazda CPO vehicle, but when we got in the car for our test drive, our salesman casually mentioned that it was, in fact, a CPO vehicle. As soon as he said that, I congratulated my wife on her new vehicle, as I knew we were getting it. But the other part - unexpectedly - was our salesman, Chris Jay. After dealing with numerous salesmen at other dealerships, who were as if out of central casting, Chris stood out as the most courteous, professional, knowledgeable yet not arrogant or pushy, consistent and dedicated in his communication and methods from the moment my wife and I stepped foot in the dealership to the moment we drove away in our car 2 days later. After seeing other people's comments about their experience with Chris, I see that ours was not unique, but I felt it necessary to add my recommendation to the list and leave my note of thanks. Chris spoke with Joe and agreed to drop the price a little bit upon asking. Even though I could sense there was more room to negotiate (and you never agree to the first offer you're given), all my calculations, the fact that this car met all our wants, plus Chris's great attitude weakened my resolve and I did not negotiate any further. Out of all the other places and salesmen we've dealt with, I felt that if anyone deserved our hard earned money it would certainly be Chris. It'll be our first Mazda purchase, so we can only hope this story plays out well throughout our ownership of this vehicle, but kudos to Chris and team on the buying experience. Keep doing what you're doing!
I am first time buyer, and have been driving my dads old 2004 Lexus rx330 for the last 6 years. So when it came time to look for a new car I came across... the Mazda CX-5 on true car. I put in the certain specs and it led me to Chris. At first the location being in canandaigua pushed me away, but after having a terrible experience with the customer service at marketplace mazda, I decided to make the drive out to Ontario and could not be any happier. As soon as we arrived chris was accommodating and made good on everything he promised on getting me the best price for the car. I'm happy to say I had to walk in once and leave with a firm handshake. Chris kept me in the loop with a number of calls and emails to let me know what the fair price was and could not have asked for a better first person to buy a car from!
