I was hesitant at first, but they were quick to respond! The driver at Shift who brought the vehicle for the test drive was great, very professional, but... low pressure. Everything checked out on the test drive so I ended up purchasing the vehicle on the spot.
Not truthfull about the True Condition of the vehicles they sell Car had undisclosed and costly to repair Rear Bumper Damage (Nearly $1K) and a Broken... Keyless remote ($320 to Replace) No mention of any of this in their Listing for the vehicle So much for their "150+ Point Inspection process"....Lol, Its Laughable mistakenly trusted that their listing would be a truthful and honest representation of the vehicles Condition Guess they figure once you have car home, U Wont bother to go thru hassle of Returning It. Unwilling to resolve issue amicably. Substandard Customer Service, My Recommendation? Take your business elsewhere
Bill of sale incomplete 3 times. Title incomplete 3 times. Unnecessary policies. Customer service rep just a punching bag with now power to fix anything.... Poor organization
They are always going to pay less than they promised, and if anything doesn't work out as smoothly and eazy for them, they will say, "we don't want to... do business with you, cause you don't make our life easy."
I purchased a car last week it started making a noise in the engine I call them they said the service team would get back to me nobody answers the phone... at the service team nobody’s called me back I left messages. I just feel like they’re giving me the runaround they stay very busy but they’re too busy to call somebody back I don’t now I just feels a bit shady still waiting on that call ¿¿disappointed with shift
I had been to numerous car dealerships, and was just fed up with fake smiles and salesmen that did not listen to me. One had actually flat out laughed... at the cash I had on hand to purchase a car. I do not think 8k is something to laugh at. All were pushing me to finance, which I not only did not WANT to do, I am not in the position to do so. After losing hope, I ran across Shift in autotrader. I was very skeptical, but knew I needed to take the chance. I am so happy I did! I scheduled a test drive, and was called promptly by a man to finalize the appointment, and tell me who would be coming to meet me. The car was here on time, and the man that brought it was very nice, and relaxed. The first thing he wanted to do was point out anything the car had on it. ( a couple of minor dings), but made me realize he was honest. He was very patient with all of the questions I had, and in the end I placed a down payment to hold the car for a short time. When I was ready to actually make the purchase, all I had to do was schedule a drop off, and once again someone called me right away and told me when they would be arriving, and the sale was made right there. Please note, the cars are already marked down from the dealership price, so there is no haggling. But really, they are priced so well there is no reason to. I am very happy with my new car. I really (for the first time ever) enjoyed the purchasing experience. I have already been referring this company to anyone who said they were shopping for cars. I will come to Shift before purchasing an automobile!
Prices are market competitive when inspection & preparation fees are included - but the overall experience delivered with convenience at speed, well inspected/maintained... cars with 5 day return & 30 days warranty is what will set this company apart. As a new immigrant to US, buying a car from Shift made my life easier as I didn't need to visit multiple dealers, understand the differences in services & pricing, no time spent on haggling the prices as it's not needed either, two test drives brought to my place at a time convenient for me & family thus we didn't have to face traffic etc, plus Shift is taking care of the DMW registration so it makes it whole lot easy. Both test Drivers were great and Emily from finance was particularly very patient & helpful with loan approvals.

I placed an appointment request for a Subaru that was listed on the site. I was hoping for a good experience, but received only emails about their service... to confirm my request and after over 3 weeks, I never got a phone call or text about the car I asked to see!
