Incompetent competent company sells faulty cars

Horrible experience from start to finish they are incompetent. They sold me a Range Rover sport with countless problems since the day I purchased it. They are fast to sell you the vehicle but when it breaks down they will not stand behind their 30 day warranty. They keep denying problems with the vehicle even though they exist the cars they sell are so called certified but they are not they have serious issues like brakes and mechanical problems. Their service advisor Noval was extremely unprofessional and rude did not resolve my issues and closed my case without completing the repairs and does not know what he is talking about he is not fit to be working there as an employee/ advisor and is acting like a kid and cannot resolve customer complaints in a timely manner you have to chase him for days for a response. Keep sending emails they never get back to you. Never again in my life will Do any business with shift and warning everyone stay away from this company. To top it off their employee ran a red light camera ticket in my vehicle while texting and I received the ticket while they were performing repairs on the car. Still dealing with that issue. Very unprofessional company stay far away. I have bought many cars from many dealerships but never had to deal with these kind of issues.

Horrible car lot.

Purchase a car that I can't get a registration because they lost title. Staff does not work with u they don't care. My 90 day registration has been expired going on 2 months. Currently suing them for full refund on payments not worth the headache. Go else where because when something wronge happens they avoid you every time!

Fake dealer. Dishonest, inattentive, amateur.

Horrible experience. Strongly warn against trusting this company. I found a solid deal on their site for the exact car I was looking for, and was told it was "Shift Certified" by their 150 point in house inspection. Okay, so sounds like it's in great working shape. I drive an hour and a half to test drive the car, and the convertible top isn't working. I tell the salesman I would have bought the car on the spot, except a faulty convertible top could mean thousands in repairs. I tell them to please fix the convertible top and call me back as soon as its fixed. I don't get any calls. I call a few days later to check in, they say the techs are working on it. This morning, a few days later, I wake up and see a "sale pending" notification online for the car. I call Shift hoping it's some kind of mistake, and guess what... They fixed the convertible top yesterday, and never called me, emailed me, or texted me to let me know as I'd requested. And instead, they sold it to someone else. The hilarious thing? For all that F-, non personal, non thoughtful, dishonest service, they still charge a $1000 "dealer fee" with every sale – despite their 150 point inspection not being thorough enough to even catch a non working convertible top. Not only will I never be doing businesses with Shift again, but I will be warn every car buyer I know against them. If this is the future of car buying, the buyer is fully screwed.

Easy and no hassle

I’ve purchased two cars already with shift and it always is a quick and easy process, just download the app check out the cars you’re interested in. Then set a time and date to test drive your new car and no need to purchase same day if you’re not happy with it. Shift employees are patients and nice help with any questions to get you in the right car

WORSE DEALERSHIP EVER

Worse dealership ever. It has taken SHIFT over 4 months to process my documents. My temporary plates have long expired, I am now driving a rental vehicle (SHIFT paid for) but I am paying for a vehicle I can not drive. They keep trying to get in contact with "Docs team in LA Hub" they keep reaching out and they do not respond. This is so ridiculous, next time I will purchase from a real dealer. Please stay away from SHIFT.

Avoid!

Avoid purchasing a car from Shift and it’s dealerships! I have to say I enjoyed the process of purchasing and test drive. But that’s about it. After about a week of driving my new car, I noticed condensation inside which I thought was the colder weather. Then one hot day I came to find my carpet SOAKED inside and the car smelling like wet dog. I brought it into the dealership thinking it was a faulty weather strip or something but NOPE! They pulled back the carpet and main console revealing a chewed through HVAC hose and mold all under the carpet from months of issues. Now as I walked though my brain, I realized a couple connections - when I first brought the car home and went to hook it up to electric charger that was provided DAY 1 out of the trunk, I noticed a handful of what looked like chew marks on it, so I emailed Shift asking for a replacement due to damage, because at the time I chalked it up to wear and tear. Secondly, when I test drove the car, the mats were no where in sight. It wasn’t until I purchased them that they magically appeared in the car. I think this was due to the fact they knew the floor had issues and they didn’t want to leave them in the car when they could get moldy. The last sign I wished I had put together was when I took the plastic covering off the carpet and noticed extreme moisture on it that had built up between the plastic sheeting and carpet. Again I chalked this up to freshly shampooed carpet in a new car, not a glaring issue. The icing on the cake was when I connected customer service online and they had the worst attitude I could have ever imagined. These people just want your business then claim no responsibility to what they sell and they don’t stand by any of the BS they say on their website or in store. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Super simple, fast, and hassle free.

It was a very good experience, the associate “Fed”arrived and off we went on the test drive. He was very knowledgeable and easygoing, no pressure or haggling. Finished all the paper work at home.

Transmission broke - 30 day warranty = worthless!

I purchased a 2015 M/B GLK with 66,000 miles and within 14 days and 317 miles the transmission went out. Their 30 day warranty is worthless as well as their customer service. They are denying any warranty and telling me to pound sand. I’ve been without the vehicle I purchased from them for 14 days and counting.
